I know friends don’t always think of themselves as siblings, and that “platonic” is an umbrella that encompasses all non-romantic and non-sexual stuff, and all I see on google is that a squish is a platonic crush, but I still have a question I want to be sure of: Is wanting to be someone’s sibling a squish?

Man, I'm sure there was at one point a term like this for familial attraction but I can't find it anywhere, so I'm gonna go with Yes, you could for sure call this a squish if you wanted to put that kind of label on it, although to be completely honest it's not something I'm super knowledgeable about (I've got one actual sibling and that is Plenty).

(Also, "platonic" does not encompass all non-romantic/non-sexual (read: tertiary attraction), there are other types, such as aesthetic, alterous, sensual, queerplatonic, and ofc familial, which you're more than welcome to read about too!)
