I just finished watching Mark’s reaction to Relevance (Mark of Mark Watches blog). And I am grinning from ear to ear. I love how much he loves Shaw.
I need to catch up to his other reaction to POI!

Relevance was such an all-around great episode with so many good scenes, but this one really stuck with me. I knew very little about the show or Shaw as a character when I started watching so I had no idea what to expect. Shaw, despite what she says, is a badass in this episode, and I fully expected her to be shown here as the cold-blooded killer who guns down everyone in the room, makes a quip about it, and then has a beer. Because that’s the type of narrative I’m used to seeing in media. Which…almost happened. But then she let Louis go. She stopped, thought about it, decided Louis wasn’t someone she needed to kill, and let him walk out (and then had her beer). And, for me, that helped frame Shaw as a character. Absolutely someone who could kill without remorse when needed, but not someone who would kill a relatively harmless, unarmed man with his hands in the air. Not because she’d feel bad about it, but because that wasn’t how she chose to do things.

I just watched POI 2x16 and AAAAAAaaaahhhhhh
Shaw is awesome, Root is amazing, Bear is overwhelmingly cute
POI Anon you are making it very hard for me not to do a rewatch and that would ultimately lead to writing. I fully agree on all three points.

Not sure if this fits : #rinchfest21 @rinchfest #rinchweek21 :? ... However, just wanted to submit an observation/discussion about the recent EW article where they interviewed Nolan&Plageman about the 10yearAnniversary of POI. Something that didn't really sit well with me was when they said there wasn't any chemistry between any of the characters/actors until 2x16's Shoot interaction? That's just a slap to Rinch, Careese & any other actors/characters pairing/interactions! I disagree with that...
Not sure that this really fits either, but I disagree with them, too. Lots of chemistry to be found on POI, and not just with Shoot, or just Rinch, Careese, and Shoot.
Some people just aren't very good at spotting it, though, I think.

Future Starts Slow - Relevance, 2x16
And of course, no Sameen Shaw | Relevance Day is complete without this iconic ending song.
Seriously, even when I didn’t watch this show beforehand this music and ending gave me chills. After this, I felt POI is never the same again!
Future Starts Slow also felt like Shaw’s anthem!
