Because I’m balls deep in PLA brainrot, and I didn’t wanna make a new oc just for this, I now have properly outlined Maxine lore for those who care 🗣🗣🗣

- born in Unova

- became a trainer at like 13 and was kinda on her own/constantly on the move from then-on. Stayed in the region for the most part but rarely went home

- moved to Galar at like 19-21

- earned the terribly corny nickname DynaMax from Leon and Hop and when she grew popular it became a widely used nickname for her amongst fans UGHHHHH

- almost the same story as the protag in SWSH. Became champion at 24

- pressure got to be too much so she left for Paldea a year or 2 later to try and settle down a little bit/go to school/figure out what she wanted

- wound up getting mixed up in all THAT stuff

- eventually graduated, didn’t know what to do from there

- impulse got a bunch of pokemon-related tattoos during a crisis lol, mainly related to legendaries she’s encountered and her starters but some god-likes (Arceus + Giratina) were mixed in there

- canonically she fucking dies (I still dunno how, maybe pokemon battle or something)

- is reincarnated from the same age into Hisui because Arceus saw the tattoo as some kind of pitiful plea at a second chance from someone it deemed like.. mildly worthy (even though It Was Not lmaooo DUMBASS)

- kinda follows a mix between canon and a few fanfics I’ve read from here

- keeping it vague for now but I just know she fuckin SOBS when she sees Ingo because she knew him and his brother and hasn’t seen them in forever but now Ingo doesn’t even know her because of his memory loss. Like she doesn’t handle it well at all that her one connection to her prev life doesn’t recognize or remember her or anything (she gets it and doesn’t hold it against him or anything and hides it the best she can but still!!)

Idk how I’ll bring her back for the next games but I think this is kinda fun uwu I might make character sheets for each region too✨

PKMN Black - Ansy

One more highlights post before going back to our regular schedule of Diamond x Pearl REWRITE (& please excuse the slight style changes through these lol, as I made some of these a year or two ago, while others I made leading up to posting DxP REWRITE on my Instagram parasol_lady_ansy).

As I said on Ansy’s timeline, BW was a very coming-of-age story for Ansy, maybe the most impactful for her character as a whole. It was her first official Pokémon journey, as her very first one through Kanto was cut short (see timeline), leaving her with PTSD. Enter Rain, her then-service Eevee (now Vaporeon!) - she was given to Ansy right before she moved to Unova to help adjust to life there.

She met all kinds of friends, enemies, rivals, & even a mysterious Champion from another region. This is when she first met Ingo & Emmet (they were about 19, brand new Subway Bosses, while she was 15). Skyla was about 16, & still working on her pilot license where she can fly industrial planes (like she does in BW2), but can fly small recreational aircraft like ultralights. Cynthia was also aged down to a teenager, though older than Ansy (looking forward to when she appears in DxP REWRITE 🖤)

The last fight against N, then Ghetsis, was a big turning point for her, as that was the first time since the incident in Kanto that she finally allowed herself to be angry, synching perfectly with the fiery white dragon Reshiram. She & they have a very deep bond, & while she didn’t catch them (Ansy befriends Legendaries instead of catching them), they would come when called wherever she was in Unova. 🪽

Funny story about my relationship with gates when i first got it in second grade i kept losing in the dungeon where you fight hydreigon and because i was an autistic child my first instinct was to reset the entire game instead of use any strategy and i did this every time i reached the dungeon and also every time i reset i would also recruit a venipede which i nicknamed Ven so thats what this is about

Also i did this for years of my life and didnt actually complete gates until covid

A strange planet, colonised long ago and forgotten, was found to have developed around its unusual fauna, referred to by the citizens of the planet as "Pokemon". Not only did many of the animals often share traits with plants, rocks, and even energy itself, but they all displayed high sentience and intelligence, sometimes exceeding that of humans.

From continent to continent, one consistent trait of the people of this planet was a love of battling these creatures against each other. Disputes, serious and petty, were settled by making trained animals battle. Despite the military potential of the more powerful creatures, the people were peaceful overall.

Most fascinating of all was the inherent ability of these animals to be transferred via digital means. It was this trait that made them most appealing study samples: the efficiency of this for the transport of troops would be a great advantage.

Test Subject 938 was initially altered to allow it to communicate via the noosphere as part of tests to understand human-Pokemon communication. The test subject soon endeared itself to the tech-priests studying it and the skitarii responsible for its upkeep, and showed a surprising interest in the research being undertaken, even electing to undergo augmentation to greater resemble the Adeptus Mechanicus that surrounded it.

Despite it going against the better judgment of those involved, Test Subject 938 was renamed Felis Mu 31-20 and given basic roles of a skitarius within a workshop close to the research site where study continues. Its devotion to the Omnissiah and the increase in morale in those it works with has made it rather difficult to remove from its current environment.
