Okay, so I don't know what the exact requirements are for being an old money family but this is what I know/read/heard about the Sainz. Carlos' grandfather was a successful businessman and some kind of a general ambassador (?) in Madrid - that's one of the family's connections to the Spanish royal family. His mother has a surname that only a few Spanish families have and it's an upper-class/nobel surname - that's why Carlos has so many names. His father is one of the greatest Spanish sportsmen. Carlos' younger sister married Rodrigo who is a son of Duke and the Marchioness which means she's also going to be a Duchess. From what people say there needs to be at least three generations of wealth to be considered as old money and Carlos is like the third generation although I don't know anything about Carlos' great-grandfather, maybe he was rich too. I have no idea if that makes them old money family. But they certainly are treated like one (at least in Spain) and looks like one.

i think my biggest take away is the stuff about carlos's grand-dad, which i think makes him old money. but thanks for the lore nonnie!

The lore of puppet history is so nice cause while it's so weird, It is not confusing. Like yeah, the main character was eaten by a dinosaur, became that dinosaur's child while turning her and her partner into a puppet, and now the entire family is in present day cause of a genie and a mildly evil man and we understand all of it. None of it is under debate or gives people headaches. It's beautiful.

if you don’t mind answering, what are the listeners’ professions?

I leave most of them pretty vague so people can insert whatever they want, so there's only a couple that have specific canon professions

Cyril's listener is a researcher at the Institute and they study cross-elemental sorcerers

Marlowe's listener is a detective with a special branch of SPAAB

Gage's listener used to work in a coffee shop (or at least somewhere that served coffee) but now they're working at their dream job (what that is is up to you)

Technically Nathaniel's (official) listener is his assistant? Kind of?

Desmond's listener obviously works with him at Riparian Woodworks

And I think that's all of them that have official canon professions! Like I said, I try to keep it vague if their profession isn't directly tied to their story
