Art Fight #6: Krumble Koopa and Picky the Pokio

While looking for more castaways on Seafoam Isle, I have spotted a small bird flying around the portal. It looks like a Pokio, a bird originally came from Bowser's Kingdom. But what's a Pokio doing here? Oh! Something coming into Seafoam Isle. Its Krumble Koopa! no wonder why the Pokio is here, then it must be Picky. Looks like they came for some sun and relaxation. wont know for sure that pauline is the only odyssey nod in mario kart world until the direct and/or actual release of the game but it's kinda funny to me that it's clearly taking a few points most recently relevant to odyssey to build on (the outfits, the importance of exploration, the general theming of travel and trying to ground the mario world in a more plausible and immersive way) and yet i havent seen hide nor hair of any characters or species or objects or locations introduced after like mario galaxy

Bowser's Army Worldbuilding headcanon

bowser's army is one that grows by taking over other lands, making that their new turf. Most of the bowser's castles are just from other smaller nations that Bowser took over.

neo bowser city? yeah that's not his its just a random metropolis where he decided to plaster his face all over after he burned the mayor to ash

The japan themed castle he had in Oddyesy, it was the oni's and Pokios land before bower just raided the place and put them under his rule

sometimes king boo will wake up one morning to see some of his boo's have been "persuaded" to join Bowser. and by that I mean he just said this his now and no ones was stroge enough to stop him

if it wasn't for Mario, every single landmark in the entire world would just be bowser's castle #42069

My other grip with the MK8DX Booster Pass is that there is NO Super Mario Odyssey inspired tracks, characters, or karts!

There should be a track based on every kingdom, there should be kart bodies based on the Odyssey, Jaxi, Mechawiggler, and Sherm. They should let me play as Cappy, Glydon, a New Donker, one of those snail guys, a Tostarenans, Talkatoo, one of the fork men, one of the robots from the wooded kingdom, a Shiverian, a Pokio, an Uproot, a Tropical Wiggler. They should let me play as the little UFO that looks like Torkdrift and acts like a bird in the Moon Kingdom.

This is my dream.

Last September I got a Switch! So here’s some fanart of the games I played. Yes I willingly bought Sonic Forces, and no, I didn’t hate it. I thought it was a fun romp.
