Shiguang trip to Europe but they go to Poland bc it's cheap and they are poor:

lctwt was debating how could they afford the months long overseas trip 🕵️‍♀️ so I proposed they either burnt through their savings in London, for the Yingdu plot part, then spend the rest of holiday picking strawberries in Germany to earn for the tickets back. Or just hitchhike through the central/eastern Euope block bc that'd be affordable~

I was surprised to see quite a few fellow central/eastern eu shiguang nation members interacting with this post, so I'm spreading it further 💪

Trying to make my own silly little designs for Rzecki and Wokulski.

If they contradict some Very Important Descriptions from the book, too bad because I don't really care. This is more about their vibes than perfect book accuracy anyway.

on one hand I stand against anything and everything the institution of a catholic church does in this sad, sad country of mine

on the other I cannot pretend it hasn’t been a big part of our culture and what made us who we are today as a nation (whether it’s good or bad)

so although I do not go to church myself I always prepare the basket and eggs for my mother, out of my love for her. hard boiled eggs, meat (#kielbasa), bread, and salt (hidden), are a staple, I think, but the rest varies from region to region.

the biggest difference is the lamb - it’s made out of sugar (store bought, best shit when you’re a kid) - whereas in my bf’s house it’s made out of butter (homemade from a bar of butter & wooden mould). we also add sweets (homemade muffin), which is also optional for others
