Rariappledash is just my #1 poly ship I love all three of these dynamics and I can’t pick one, so in the nextgen au I have in my head they all have a bunch of wacky kids together and are a huge happy family.

Rarity has to take a lot of trips out of ponyville to manehatten and canterlot, and even some other cities for her boutiques so she’s not as involved with raising the kids but she spends as much time with them as possible and they all love mama Rarity (who may or may not feel guilty about being more absent and tends to shower the kids in gifts because of it)

RD also has to leave for wonderbolt things sometimes, especially when Spitfire retired and Rainbow takes her place as the captain. On very rare occasions she and Rarity are both gone at the same time, and Aj can definitely get overwhelmed. Thankfully Apple Bloom and Big Mac are there to help, even if they do have lives of their own now. Not to mention Pinkie and Cheese love to bring Lil’ Cheese over for playdates (and to give the mom trio a break)

Do your stories have a connection? Like, are any of them connected?

Mmmm it depends on the story I guess! (spoilers ahead if you haven't read my fics)

Most of my smaller stories (Just This Once, Babysitting the Fuzz, Thursday is Rubber Fishday, etc), were written to be stand-alone fanfics that do not have any kind of connection to each other. I also have an in-limbo comic called The Throne, which is based on a what-if idea and is thus entirely its own thing with no connection to any of my other stories whatsoever.

However, The Veil and Call Me Cyli might have some overlap with each other.

I'm still a bit undecided on how much overlap they'll have. Call Me Cyli is my take on the first two episodes, sort of like a fan-made prequel for the series. The Veil, on the other hand, takes place a year after the events of the season 2 finale, like a sequel.

Therefore, Call Me Cyli could be considered a distant prequel to The Veil, but only in terms of the fanon/altered canon I've come up with for the show.

For example, some events or relationships in Call Me Cyli could be canon to the timeline in The Veil. If you were to ask Cyli in The Veil if she had any friends before meeting Pac and Spiral, then she would say Poly, Tetrah, Cubo, Rubix and Skeebo.

Through this logic, it would also mean that the specific bullying phase that Pac went through in CMC is also canon in The Veil's lore. That includes the whole dilemma of Cyli staying on Skeebo's side until it had become blatantly apparent to her that Skeebo was a bully, and the consequences it had on Pac. The whole issue was the reason there was a feud between Cyli and Pac & Spiral at the start of their friendship. If you were to ask any of the Pac-trio in The Veil about it, then they'd remember it fully (with embarrassment and shame lol)

And it's kinda because of that reason why I'm a bit undecided on whether or not Call Me Cyli and The Veil should be connected.

Since The Veil is still a story that's being written, some things might come along that change the plot and lore completely, which could make the events in CMC incompatible with the events in The Veil.

For now, I'd say that minor things like Cyli's past relationships are canon/connected to The Veil. But some of the bigger things like CMC's plot points may not be relevant to The Veil's ongoing plot.

Ohh Minji used to be insecure about her height? Could we get some more info on that? And I wonder how Judas and Saeyoung influenced her concerning her relationship with her appearance :>

It's honest to goodness the only thing that Minji has ever had a hard time with in life!

She had a great childhood with a family who loved her more than anything, but if you ask her the one thing she's had trouble with, it's the fact that she's always been way taller than her classmates. She is well aware of the fact that this insecurity isn't one that many people have to struggle with, and because of that, she doesn't make a big deal out of it. 

I mean, when you're around other people who have dealt with some insecurities and bullying because of those insecurities, she's the kind of person who thinks she ranks at the bottom in terms of being able to talk about what she went through as a little kid. She knows what she went through wasn't okay, in terms of people teasing or taunting her, but she doesn't want to say: "I was bullied for being tall and that should take priority over you being bullied for XYZ."

She and Jumin certainly went to the same school of thought when it comes to ignoring what they've went through like that. But, people in school did tease her for being taller than average. I think the average height in South Korea for females is 5'3ft? Don't quote me on that, I don't know for sure! But, Minji's definitely taller than most girls! Even by American standards! I know our average in America is like, 5'5ft? I am average height for a woman!

Minji spent a lot of time in school trying to hunch over and make herself smaller... at least, until she spoke to one of the coaches for track and field! She discovered she loved running! It became to her benefit to be tall, because her stride made her faster than most of the other girls on her team. She shined on the track, and that fostered a lot of self-confidence on her part. Since high school, she's felt better about herself when she looks in the mirror, but hey, sometimes, even she can get down on herself.

Minji is 5'10ft (177.8CM). She stands an inch taller than Saeyoung, and Judas is 5'6ft (167.64CM) which puts her four inches taller than him.

Despite this, if you recall, Judas' first meeting with Minji was built on concern. Minji has a lot of people tell her that she could fend on her on in a scrappy situation because she's tall, and for some reason, she has people consistently believe that her height somehow means she knows how to fight! She doesn't! She only knows how to run from the danger! So, when Judas offered to walk home with her when she took a wrong turn, her heart fluttered.

Sure, the bar is on the floor for respect, but Judas walked with her on a night where she felt nervous and he made her feel giddy. She felt... so warm inside knowing this man didn't care about her height, there was only one concern on his lips, her safety. Judas makes Minji feel small on the inside, and she never realized how much she wanted to feel that way.

She doesn't want to seen as dainty, but... to be held by another person? To feel like she's seen as someone who can be held and protected?

Golden.

It's the same thing with Saeyoung. He's quick to defend her and smile about it. Minji didn't realize how much she wanted someone to stand in front of her and say, "She's my girl and I won't hesitate to stand by her side." Hey, it's cliche, but maybe it's nice to feel like she's within a K-Drama where she's the heroine people dote on. She never sees girls like her in those!

So, to give you the long of the short of it, she was already coming into her own in terms of self-confidence about her height. But, the boys helped her realize that she could be loved in the way she always saw the shorter girls experience. People can lift her and sweep her off her feet if they truly love her, and they'll put the work in to do so. 

I wish I had more energy to draw my Poly Trio right now, because God, I want to see them cuddle with Minji in the middle.

His name is Grape Soda, and he is the younger half sibling of Dusk ( i picture Luna, Twi, and Pinkie are in a poly relationship)  Grape has always been on the chubbier side, due to his genetics on his mom’s (pinkie) side. He is about the same age as the cmc, maybe a tad bit older. He is deaf and uses a form of sign language that he uses his wings to communicate. He also uses normal body language to convey what he is trying to say. Kinda like what Pinkie is doing here. ( it’s much easier to do the latter when not walking around)

 He doesn’t wear hearing aids/ cochlear implants due to it causing him horrible debilitating headaches which he would just rather not put up with 

( I'm not deaf I did research and that was a reason why someone does wear one so if that not true or something like that please tell I don't want to accidently be offensive or something)  He loves more drawing and playing with his friends, basically a normal pony his age.
