Yk how most victors become at least somewhat rebellious after their victory, even the career victors? Lmao what if I told you that Toby goes through the exact opposite arc and becomes the Capitol’s bitch?

I wanted to make my OC ramblings spoiler free… but I can’t help it anymore, I have to talk about Toby as a victor (now renamed Cassius because it actually has a meaning that is relevant to his character ehehaif)

Well, Cass is Finnick but evil. While he still presents himself to be a good-natured gentleman that would totally treat his lucky girl like a queen, he’s exactly the kind of person Katniss mistook Finnick to be, but 100x worse. Think of the most hateful, petty, smug scumbag you can think of and chances are he matches or even exceeds their hater energy. He’s a massive suck-up to the Capitol. He’ll do anything they tell him to as long as he gets the bag in the end, and is willing to step over pretty much anyone he can to do so. For his victor talent, he’s somewhat of a popstar, kind of like the Justin Bieber of the Capitol. It’s brought him a lot of success, but makes him miserable because it’s not exactly what he wanted to do. Plus his fanbase is fucking crazy. Cass puts up with it anyway because, like I said, he’ll get the bag in the end.

Under this insufferable mountain of turd I call his personality is a deeply unhappy and miserable person… duh. After years of getting his boundaries stepped all over the Capitol and all Cass’s valued relationships have been completely destroyed in one way or another, it aint any wonder why he’s such a douchebag. He tried to be better of course, but victory only gave the illusion of freedom from being a cog in the machine. In reality, he was trapped in an even shitter cage, working for a different, more dangerous machine. So he pretty much reverts back to his defeatist impulses, and decided that if he’s miserable and lonely no matter what he does, he might as well be FILTHY FUCKING RICH and miserable and lonely. So Cass sucks up to the Capitol, becomes their propaganda machine, even turning his back on his own people and friends so he can get ahead.

Sure, there’s a revolution in the making, but that would never succeed. Nah, it’s much safer to be buddies with the top dogs. Anyway, who will he be if the Hunger Games are gone and being a victor would mean nothing? How will his new album be a hit when the country is in a civil war? Will the new government supply him with a ridiculous amount of money just for existing?? Probably not. So fuck them kids, and fuck you too.

yourusername i was originally planning on making an ep, most likely called talk too much, with somewhat final drafts of pretty girls, 23, i wish, willow, talk too much, and gemini moon for the tracklist. but, as some of you guys know, my life took a drastic turn in august. in the past month i have tried to distract myself as much as possible, constantly on the move, whether it was actually moving out of my apartment or hanging out with my friends. but when i worked on my music i let myself really feel. feel the pain and the betrayal. and so, after way too many late night runs to mcdonalds, mental breakdowns, calls with my therapist, and movie marathons, i had six more songs.

and so snow angel was born.

even though i know this isn't going to get rid of the pain, which will probably linger in the depths of my insecurities for years to come, snow angel is the step i needed to take to reach acceptance.

thank you to everyone who made this album possible: my fans, friends, producers, family -- i truly could not have done this without you.

Eugene can seem calm and all, but im pretty sure he planned it A LOT. He probably had backup plans and everything. Eugene thinks you deserve only the best of the best, but he doesnt want to overwhelm you either— so a traditional date its the best plan to confess his feelings!

He spends the day with you, starting with lunch at a popular place you like— he pays everything, no grumbling from you allowed! The date is basically: Exploring places he knows match your tastes—buying cute little things for you, staying in peaceful spots for a while, and then taking advantage of the sunset to bring you closer to the beach.

Not exactly on the beach, though— its that spot he meticulously searched for, where the sunset hits just right. A place not too crowded, quiet, and with barely any sand so you dont get uncomfortable later, just in case some gets into your shoes.

"Its been a while since i like you, not only for the fact that youre gorgeous in the outside, but also in the inside. Please, if you give me the chance...i would love to be at your side as a partner, i'll try my best to make it worth it and make you happy, because you deserve it." Maybe you can hear a small stutter for the first time in his words, he's trying his best to hide how his chest goes faster now that he finally said it. Probably shy about it at first, but because he wants to be respectful with your boundaries! Would probably analyze first what you like and dislike. Still— he prefers to hold hands by the pinky, he loves cute ways of pampering you in affection i feel. The type to pat your head a lot, you passed a hard test? He pats your head. You got happy over something you achieved even if its silly? He does it too! The ring of the recess bells and you have to go to your classroom? Yeah, he pats your head too. Its almost for everything! I feel like he's into side hugs everytime he wants to show you affection in public. He's pretty discret, but dont misinterpret him! He just likes to be calm (wouldnt mind if you want to be all over him thought...probably would just shrug it off with a small laugh and his cheeks a pretty pink)

The type to pamper you in kisses when you two are in private, his hands cupping your cheeks and those honest eyes of his not leaving your gaze while he praises you. I swear i'll shut up after this, but he would be into kissing your ring or knuckles too!!

This guy being insecure?? I dont think so. Boy trust you a lot and wouldnt be jealous of anyone. I dont see him as possesive either! He just lets you be, because the trust in a relationship is the most important thing for him. If youre close to the Phantom Busters club, i dont think he would be jealous either— maaybeee a little bit if youre too close with one of them instead of him pre-relationship, but a small talk would instantly reassure him.

If you're the one who gets jealous? He's pretty perceptive— he'd notice immediately. If youre with a group, he'd quietly reach for your hand and give it a light squeeze, just enough to draw your attention back to him.
