Born November 12, 2024

Rose and Scorpius were only about twenty, he was a surprise and they weren’t even engaged though they did live together

All of the parents accepted the pregnancy, except for Hermione, who just saw her daughter wasting away her future

They didn’t speak for most of the summer, but Hermione did mend their relationship at Rose’s baby shower

Hermes is very warm and sweet and kind baby, he later grows up to be a wonderful older brother to his chaotic siblings

Hugo is his godfather and he cried when Rose told him they were naming the baby after him

The pair of them are a lot alike, they both have dyslexia, they both fall in love young and stay in love, and they both become writers

Hermes ends up being a Quidditch correspondent for the English international team! He follows the team and always has an in with the players, coach, managers (as his girlfriend Marcy is a manager)

He was the Gryffindor Quidditch captain and a Chaser at Hogwarts, but after a devastating loss his seventh year he knew that he wouldn’t ever play professionally

He manages to be very close to all of his siblings and the first person they all come to for advice

Overall he’s the perfect mix of his parents and Weasley grandparents

Athena Hermione

Born September 6, 2026

She is Scorpius’s daughter through and through

She’s extremely colicky as a newborn and it drives Rose insane as Scorpius is the only one that can calm her down

She does grow out of it, but her attachment to Scorpius only wanes when it comes to Hermione, who is her favorite person in the world and who she looks up to most

She knows when she’s five that she’s going to be a lawyer like Hermione and save the world through her words

She’s so smart and very sweet, her stress relief is cooking and baking, and she learns everything she can from Rose

She’s sorted into Ravenclaw at no surprise to anyone, and later become a prefect and then Head Girl

The only time she ever makes mistakes is when it comes to her love life, the poor girl just picks the worse boys

Except for Benjamin, her fellow Head Boy, who is so sweet and kind it’s hard not to fall in love with him

It’s an accident, but Athena gets pregnant after a bad Halloween party, but she decides to keep the baby and to keep Benjamin too

She does take to the Ministry by a wild force of nature, ripping up laws and creating new ones that better the community as a whole

Even though some of her coworkers complain about her frequent absence because of her pregnancies

What can she say? She loves her husband and loves being one of a big family, she’s the second oldest of six, Benjamin is the youngest of nine, they have twelve kids and are incredibly happy together

Hephaestus Ronald

Born May 19, 2027

He is an incredibly easy baby and toddler

In fact he lulls his parents into the easy that one more will be fine for them (what they don’t know 😂)

As he is Ron’s namesake, Ron does have a soft spot for him, they often play chess together

He is the first Slytherin of his siblings and has a very shocking realization about his Grandpa Draco, which is incredibly hard for him

Scorpius is able to talk him through it, but Ron and Draco both sit him down and talk to him, Athena, and Hermes together

About the war and their families history

They are the end of a very long feud, the best of them all

He’s very close to Athena, and he shares a lot of his ideas with her first

He graduates and ends up making Muggle objects work better around the Wizarding world

Artemis Astoria

Born April 21, 2030

She’s the older twin, and would argue smarter as she’s a Ravenclaw

She’s a cuddly baby, but as she grows older she becomes more and more touch conscious

She does have a soft spot for her family though, especially her sisters, and she loves to be in the middle of a cuddle pile with them

She has a love for unicorns that everyone in the family helps feed, especially Astoria

Astoria also likes to call her Moon, knowing that it’s cheesy but neither of them care

She’s sorted into Ravenclaw and becomes a perfect and later Head Girl, she also stops talking to her twin about a week after starting at Hogwarts

They always have stupid arguments, but this one lasts them through the years until their seventeen

After Hogwarts she gets an internship at the magical zoo in London, she becomes the leading expert in unicorns in Europe

She leaves the zoo to take over as Groundskeeper and Care of Magical Creatures teacher at Hogwarts after Hagrid passes

Her students love her and she falls in love with the Herbology Professor Caleb Lovegood (Neville’s grandson)

Apollo Draco

Born April 21, 2030

The younger and (in his opinion) more awesome twin

He’s also the lone Hufflepuff of the family

He’s smart and funny and very dramatic, taking after his Grandpa Draco

He calls him “Sun” or “Sunny”

He throws himself into a very serious relationship at a young age that just implodes on him and ruins a lot of his relationships with others, including Artemis

They make up sometime their seventh year, while forced to be Head Boy and Girl together

They waste no time making up for lost time and “annoy” the family with how close they are (everyone misses them bouncing off of each other)

He becomes a Healer after graduating, an oncologist (cancer doctor)

It humbles him in a way no one expects, and matures him more than his kids do

He does finally manage to make that old relationship work out too

Aphrodite Lyla

Born August 10, 2034

The baby of the family and oh does she love it!

She was actually born in the backseat of Rose and Scorpius’s car, she came very quickly and suddenly, good thing Scorpius was trained for this (and at this point was training future MLEs and Aurors in emergency deliveries)

He did pass out once he handed their daughter over to Rose

Being the youngest by four years she is a bit more independent than her siblings (especially Hermes, Athena, and Hephaestus who are in constant contact with one another) but she does have a soft spot for Hermes and Athena because they both graduated before she started at Hogwarts

She usually spends more time with her cousin Evan (Hugo and Lyla’s oldest son) as he’s only a year younger than her

She’s sorted into Slytherin and gets one year with Hephaestus as her Head Boy, but he coddles her and she hates it

I’m fact Hogwarts isn’t really fun until her fourth year when she’s the only Malfoy there

She discovers a lot of things about herself without her siblings around, including the fact that she misses them and wish they were there to talk to

She does make a show of coming out to her family, it’s not as big a spectacle as Apollo made it for himself, but it is funny and exactly what everyone expected of her

When she leaves Hogwarts, she goes to work for Molly and Lucy at their clothing store, she’s a fashion designer

She does eventually open her own wedding dress shop, but years down the way when her own daughters are finally at school

Question of your choice, for Snarry and (if you would like to but certainly no pressure) to make it even more fun another pairing of your choosing from HP because I am greedy LOL. <3

Writ!! 🌸 I couldn't help myself, these are too fun! 😄 Now I can't decide if you're very kind (giving me free reign to babble away) or quite rude (decisions!!) 😂

I was thinking perhaps I'd choose 2 other ships. 1 other Harry ship, 1 other Snape ship. And, because I'm an avid believer in saving the best for last, I'll start with the 2 extras first! I originally chose other questions to answer for Snarry, but in choosing Question 30 for my extras, it seemed a shame not to answer that one in particular for Snarry, as well!

Please enjoy my overly specific headcanons 😂

30. Why does it work (or not work) between them?

Snegulus

When it comes to Severus and Regulus, it works for a time, but never forever.

They're both quite bright and gifted, but neither of them appropriately appreciated. Regulus is the spare in his family. The proper pureblood boy. Opportunities aplenty, but always in his brother's shadow, and haunted by his family's expectations. He's handsome, he plays Quidditch, he makes good grades. But he's quiet. He's never stood out before, so he's content to keep to himself.

Then there's Severus. Terribly smart, terribly talented, but with no opportunities in Cokeworth, or from his family. He's poor and ugly and unpopular. He's too intense, too ambitious, for his own good. And whatever excellence he shows never holds a handle to his more handsome, charming, popular peers.

There is loneliness, and bitterness. Kindred spirits found in the dark. It's first love. Schoolboy romance. Regulus admires Severus' devotion, and his passion, and his intelligence. Severus is captivated by Regulus' kindness, his creativity, his dedication. They meet in the Astronomy Tower for furtive trysts, then lay in the aftermath chatting about magical theory and politics. A meeting of the mind and body.

But Severus is a half-blood, and Regulus is a pureblood. Regulus must marry and produce heirs and if he is to take a male lover, it is expected to be someone of superior birth and rank. Severus does not mind being Regulus' dirty little secret; or, if he does, he is willing to put up with it for any scrap of affection Regulus offers.

It is Regulus who brings Severus to the Dark Lord. Others have tried, have put out the word, but it is Regulus who holds out his hand and leads him there. They have a shared purpose, for a time. And when that purpose changes in them both, neither tells the other. They turn against the Dark Lord. And they drift apart.

And Regulus dies.

(But if Regulus didn't die? Well, if he survived, then he was brave enough to act. And perhaps he would be brave enough to love Severus openly. Easier, when the Dark Lord is gone, and the family is in tatters. Perhaps they marry. And if Regulus is very lucky, then Severus will never meet Harry Potter.)

Scarry

As for Scorpius and Harry, it only works if Severus isn't in the picture.

In every world, I imagine Scorpius with a giant crush on Harry! His best friend's super hot, super sweet, superhero of a dad. It's innocent enough. Albus teases him about it. Scorpius knows it will never happen, even if he dreams about it endlessly.

The older Scorpius gets, the more daring he gets. Never serious. Albus would kill him for one. And so would Severus, Harry's husband. Until Severus...well. Until Severus isn't around anymore. And Harry is heartbroken.

And Scorpius is there. And so very different from Severus. Young and beautiful, soft and sweet. There is guilt on Harry's end for a host of reasons...the age gap, the longstanding crush, Albus. But worst of all, the feeling of betraying Severus (even though Severus is gone.) And from Scorpius there is sorrow and jealousy, that he can never replace Harry's great love.

But he doesn't have to. He's different, and that's a good thing. It's slow going between Scorpius' immaturity and Harry's need to heal, but they work their way together in the end. Their easy camaraderie remains, even when they realize there is more to each other than the Savior and the Cinnamon Roll. Harry is moody and obsessive. Scorpius is entitled and evasive. Harry is intense and reckless. Scorpius is nosy and careless. And the more of each other's flaws they see, the more in love they fall.

Scorpius is complicated in a quiet sort of way. His sugary sweetness hides a lot, as Harry discovers. Scorpius is a challenge, which is good. It's good they butt heads. Harry would be bored if life was too quiet and easy.

They play Quidditch together. Go to games and concerts together. Harry teaches him how to bake. Scorpius teaches him what all the forks are for. Harry learns that it's okay to move on. Scorpius learns that there's room enough in Harry's heart for him, too.

Snarry

But if you hadn't noticed, Harry and Severus reign supreme in my heart and mind. With them, it's forever.

There's baggage. Pain and rage. They're caught up and tied together by their history. By their roles in the war, as tools and weapons. How they are touched by loss (of others) and by death (of themselves.) How they understand loneliness, and ostracization. They both have wounds that run so deep, and they're both so damn good at pouring salt in the wound.

It's built on bitterness. But it doesn't grow there.

They connect through so much grime and darkness. The bond grows stronger, bolder, as time wears on. They're both obsessive, intense, and passionate. They're both intelligent and skilled, in their own ways. They're dedicated. And loyal. And brave.

They'd both be bored without a challenge, so Severus studies and experiments while Harry explores and adventures. They butt heads, too, of course. Enlightening debates on good days, heated arguments on bad days.

Severus brings out the worst in Harry, and appeals to his darker side. Harry needs to accept his own darkness, and be accepted for it. He was the Boy Who Lived, turned Savior. He went from not being good enough to the Dursleys to being this picture perfect hero in the Wizarding World. He needs to face the darkness, and work through it, and know he's not alone in it.

Harry brings out the best in Severus, alongside the rest. Harry sees the good in him. He recognizes his strength and his bravery and his perseverance. When Severus can accept that Harry believes those things, he can begin to see them for himself. To be sure in the knowledge that bitterness and badness isn't all there is to him. He is more than his cruelty and danger. He is capable of tenderness, and romance. And he is worthy of kindness, and generosity.

They see the best and worst in each other, and drag it out into the light. They clash, and rip each other to shreds, until their broken pieces commingle in the dirt. They burn each other alive in the heat of their passion: fear and lust and hate and love. They're reborn in the ashes. A sacred fire, a sacred ritual. One they can't explain to anyone else, could never find in anyone else.

There is also peace, and joy. Quiet nights by firelight. Whispering beneath the stars. Cuddling in bed. Sharing breakfast. Severus does the crossword while Harry reads him bad jokes. They tease, and play, and make love. They share a life together, a home together, and love; things they always wanted and never really had, before they found each other.

More than that, they trust each other. They test each other time and again, unable to give it a rest. But as time goes on, there is little doubt that they're in it for the long haul. The other isn't leaving, isn't flinching away. There is devotion. Unbreakable faith. They're a team. They'll face any foe together, be it sleazy politicians or deadly Dark wizards. Oh, and that rude neighbor who is definitely stealing their tomatoes.

IN CONCLUSION: Snarry are soulmates, but other ships are kind of valid I guess 🤣 Sorry for talking your eyeballs off. 10 points to your House if you've read this far.

(In hindsight, I should have stuck to my original Snarry questions and chosen a safer extra ship. Oops.)

so if leos conception was a sweet dramione and lyras a feisty dramione what was scorpius? and if ever they had another one what would it be?

Scorp's canon bday (Jan 2006) is the same in MTM, so Scorpception was in April 2005. A specific incident caused it, but I can't yet reveal it yet because I plan to write it one day (I swore to @unlikelytravelerwhispers that I'd write it for her birthday in January, but hopefully I'll get around to it sooner 😂). 

In terms of the act itself... they knew exactly what they were doing, so it was very soft, emotional, and reverent. Whereas Hermione asked for Lyra in Twenty-Nine, Draco is the one who asked for Scorp. No one asked for Leo. 😎 

In MTM canon, they are definitely done after Leo. Hermione would be paranoid about birth control after him. But it could happen when she switched to a new potion. Maybe they were supposed to cast a back-up spell, but forgot. I’d imagine they go out with friends one night and get sloshed. Sloppy, giggly drunken sex ensues, they pass out, and voila-- bun in the oven. 

So Scorp’s conception is pure sweetness, Lyra’s conception is pure filth, and I actually think Leo’s (in The Third Constellation) is 50/50. Baby #4′s would just be a hot mess. 🤣

Again, Baby 4 is an AU of the AU. I have too much compassion for Hermione’s poor vagina and Draco and Hermione’s sleeping schedules to give them another oops baby. 🤣

Hello there you! You’re really coming for me with that tricky first question!

6) If you had to delete one of your stories and never speak of it again, which would it be and why?

There are a few that I wouldn’t mind sharpening up a bit, to be honest, but if I really had to delete one I would choose Buttercup. I actually like it - it’s pretty tight and atmospheric - but it’s Harry/ Scorpius and it’s not a ship I’m into, really. I’ve only ever written three ships, so if it’s between throwing them under a bus, or my beloved Draco/Harry, then it’s gotta be the poor old crossgen pairing every time (because I’m certainly not getting rid of Charlie Weasley either).

44) What is the last line you wrote?

Ooh, I can actually be honest about this as it’s for @hpkinkfest so it’s not anon. It sounds very boring actually but the bit that comes before it is alright I think.

“Harry flew faster.” 

(Bear in mind that he’s flying with Malfoy on the back of his broom and Malfoy’s hand pressed against the bare skin of his stomach where his t-shirt has ridden up so it’s more exciting than it sounds 😂😂😂)
