The Living Daylights / Maryam d'Abo as Kara Milovy
So help me, but I love 1980s fashion. It's fun, it's bold, and it's not afraid to be extravagant. Plus it has those nods to the 1920s and 1940s, two other decades that I like. And yep, I think this ensemble looks great. Unfortunately, we never see it full-length from the front, so I don't know how long the dress is, but the robe/coat appears to be full-length.
In fairness, I would also have loved the original design (see below), which is more classic in style. Emma Porteous was the credited costume designer for this film, but apparently, much of the work was actually done by her assistant, Tiny Nicholls.
I put Phelous audio under the anime Yashahime, which is a terrible sequel for Inuyasha. This is also a tribute for one of my favourite youtubers Phelan Porteous.
New Scotland Yard: The Palais Romeo (1.4, LWT, 1972)
"We haven't had a PM yet. We haven't gone over the suspect's possessions, we haven't got the results from the trunk. We haven't seen this man Sawyer yet, the man who helped him carry it. There are five hundred things we haven't had time to examine. How can you make an arrest? You said yourself: a conclusion is a conclusion established when all the facts have been brought to light."
Every season of the year imparts its own peculiar beauty to the forests. In early spring a shimmer of tenderest green spreads over them, especially when a forest of Beeches is breaking into leaf, as if the wand of an enchanter had been waved over it. These tints gradually deepen with the advent of summer, when in the hot noontide hours the tired wanderer may repose in the cool shade, lulled to rest by the hum of insects and the music of rustling leaves. When autumn comes, what an inimitable palette of gorgeous colour is spread out before the eye, albeit but the symptom of decay; and when winter holds the land in its icy grasp, even then the forest has a grandeur and a grace all its own, especially when the branches and twigs glitter in the sunshine with hoarfrost, or gracefully bend under a dazzling weight of snow. It has been said that the forest knows all and is able to teach all, and there is a French proverb to the effect that the forest, which always listens, has the secret of every mystery, while a Latin proverb of the Middle Ages says: Aures sunt nemoris, oculi campestribus oris, and similarly the German: Das Feld hat Augen, der Wald hat Ohren.

A friend of mine has reissued the fantasy tarot deck he designed, with art and creative support from Steph Morris, Chris Rowland and Paul Duffield for the world of Empire LRP.
It's a lovely artefact of the Empire world, it's got it's own lore and history, the art is gorgeous and each deck is unique as there are different versions of some of the cards scattered through all of them. It's just a really nice thing to have in your hand and play with.
You can pick it up on Etsy if you click on the source link or search for "TheJourneyDeck" there.
