Imagine during this age of consumerism especially on the rise of witchcraft and tarot lately there should be a cheaper and affordable way to get supplies and items than paying a fortune. Yes used but it can really help the community! Today People are spending money like their life depends on them especially on witchcraft tools and items a lot of sellers are taking advantage on those in the community. To be less involved in consumerism and help the environment and the community we should start donate to stores of used witch items, books, decks, statues, instead of having people rely on Amazon or other retailers who don’t give a rat ass about these items, overprice, not knowing if the item is fake or not, plus where they get these items can be shady and unethical. Of course support your local metaphysical shop, heck you can donate used items at your metaphysical if they let you ofc just ask before hand. It’s super helpful and more charitable as well. I don’t ever throw out my tarot decks or burn them, but cleanse them and resell them on Poshmark, Etsy, any websites that may pay for used items.

Of course this is just a suggestion and my thoughts! You don’t have to people may have other reasons or beliefs why they cannot donate which is perfectly okay. Just sharing my two cents! :)

Do you know if there’s like an exchange/resale community for your skirts? (Google yielded no results.) I’ve been re-buying some patterns bc I like the new manu better, but now I have duplicates and not enough closet space, and I’d rather offer them to Maya Kern enthusiasts than try to sell them on poshmark or whatever.

i don’t think so! if that’s something someone else wants to set up i’d be thrilled, since i’m all for just about anything that prolongs the life cycle of a garment, i just don’t have the time or resources to set up something like that myself. i know a couple people have found my skirts at thrift stores or on depop/similar apps but that’s about the extent of my knowledge.

What does Reserved mean on Poshmark? Are they put up by the buyers or something automatic?

 It has some keyword meanings.

On Poshmark, the term “Reserved” indicates that an item listed for sale has been set aside or held for a specific customer.

 Sellers on Poshmark can reserve an item for a potential buyer who has expressed interest in purchasing Poshmark.

You could wait because the yellow mark only lasts a few minutes. 

Once the timer is up, check and recheck whether the product is sold.

What does Reserved mean on Poshmark?

Reserved AKA yellow mark on the product listing appears when a buyer clicks on the button for buy. The reserved mark stays in place for ten minutes while the specific buyer fills out information. It allows the buyers to keep in the buying process while giving signals to buyers.

As a buyer, when you see a glowing yellow saying “Reserved”, it indicates that a buyer is in the process of buying it. More in the after section.

Steps on Manually Reserve on Poshmark

Well, Poshmark doesn’t offer you the manual option to reserve any item. But you have an alternative way that would help you prevent your listed product from getting sold.

Hence, you could apply the “Note For Sell’ label to your listing. To do so, you only have to click on the edit option from the listing detail page. Afterward, you only have to tap on the option “Mark as not for Sale”. In the same way, when you want to make it available, go into Edit> Mak as Available” in the Poshmark app

The reserved am Poshmark helps users, commonly referred to as “Poshers” avoid misunderstanding in their transactions by allowing them to sortly hold an item for a potential buyer without immediately committing to buying.

My parents Wi-Fi shuts off at midnight. But midnight to 3:00 a.m. are my peak hours. So I happily pay $10 for a hot spot for the month. It's actually 50% off so save $10.

I got 59 items listed on Depop & Mercari. I can't wait until depop is added to my crosslister to make it even easier, but it wasn't that bad.

My goal is to list a hundred items today actually I'm going to aim for 50 and then 100 is going to be like my big goal.

I'm also fighting to get my Poshmark back. eBay is not going to work anymore, but I had like 260 reviews before it went down and it sucks because I spent a year trying to redeem myself and I was doing good. But once you're like in the below standard on eBay it's almost impossible to get back up.

I had like maybe six bad orders will cancellations out of like 270, 280 reviews. And I had a bunch of people that didn't even leave feedback as well so my reviews were probably even higher. Sometimes people just don't rate but they're happy.

And I refunded every single one of them. There was like a few of them where eBay reposted things that I had already sold and I didn't catch it or it's sold on a different platform very rarely or I just had to cancel it, but for most people I communicated really well. So I mean like six cancelizations in like 2 years and half of them weren't even on me I think it's pretty good.

eBay has like zero mercy. But it's okay because their fee system kind of tripped me up a little bit because any other platform you can see the breakdown. But not eBay. They take their taxes out at the end of the month instead of like after each item which is easier for me.

So let's say you sell something on mercari for $15. Okay so after the selling fee and taxes or whatever you make like $11.50. okay cool. Then you don't have to worry about it. eBay just kind of like I think takes it out at the end of the month which gets really confusing so you might end up like hundreds of dollars you have to owe to ebay that you have to calculate manually and I'm not good with numbers.

I'm starting to get more organized. I have a whole bunch of photos on my computer I mean like hundreds of pictures that is stuff that is already sorted at my apartment and at my parents it's not sorted but I can go down there and be like okay I put all of these items online I can sort them now. It'll take a big chunk of the work away.

Then I have even more hundreds of photos where it's like I need to go downstairs and just get the size of the item and edit the pictures a little bit. And then another massive chunk is taking care of.

I felt really stupid because I donated like a box of books that had not sold in like a year and a half and then one of them sold like the second I donated them so I'm going to not donate anything for a little bit.

My least fav part of my ADHD is that I phase in and out of the 'shared timeline'. You may hear this called 'losing track of time' and the woe of getting to the end of a day or week and not having accomplished what you set out to do (or very much at all, sometimes). It's detrimental for sure. But what REALLY kills me? That the people adhered to the shared timeline had to wait for me to get back to the timeline. People I choose to care about waiting for me to take my turn, some of them neurotypical or time bound divergents who actually feel those minutes, days, weeks. But working on that had to wait until I could put my own oxygen mask on. Since I found out about ADHD, I've had to focus on the basics—the coping tech to, ya know, keep my job and share a household and not spiral for days. Seven years later, I'm leveled-up enough to work on this and I'm so excited! I'm going to try this 'morning dailies' (named after the many 'dailies' on Neopets iykyk) for a week or so and see how it goes. This is actually in rough order of how I'd do them, and yes, the colors mean something lol.

Heyyo!! This is literally the same stuff as my Poshmark, but it's cheaper for you AND I don't lose money to fees! It's a true win-win!

When Frozen II came out, I made the smart move by buying all the storage chests I could find right away, and they are among my most treasured possessions in my collection. I got the smallest one at Home Goods and the other three at Michael’s.

A few months after I bought them, they were no longer being sold in these stores, which made me realize that paraphernalia like this which are made off of popular movies are only in stock temporarily, and that it’s difficult to find and purchase them elsewhere afterwards.

That being said, I didn’t take the initiative to buy all three of the main chests made for the original Frozen when that movie was released, and as I correctly predicted, finding them online in the years since 2013 has been very trying. Still, I wanted to try and get them all so I could complete the collection of them from both movies.

And after a lot of struggling to find them in the last two months, I finally did. 😉

While it was easy finding two of the chests on eBay, along with a much smaller one (which was the same size as my smallest Frozen II chest), finding the Elsa chest was much harder. As I struggled to find it, I tried searching on other places like Mercari and Poshmark, and it was on the former site that I found this Elsa chest.

Since I wasn’t sure whether I would find the chest I was seeking, I decided to buy it just to have another to add to my collection. I love it a lot, but initially, I was a bit disappointed that it was the same size as the Anna chest.

After using some different key words to continue to search for the last chest, I was ecstatic when I found it on Mercari, so I instantly bought it. 😁 But a week later, the seller canceled my purchase after realizing the chest had a bit of significant damage that she didn’t mention previously. Following some difficulty in communicating with her and trying to see images of exactly what kind of damage the chest had so I could decide whether I still wanted it, I finally decided not to buy it. When I made that decision, I felt like it was a miracle that on that same day I decided to cancel, I found the chest in better condition on a Facebook market! 😁😄👍🏻

During my searches, I discovered that the four chests (excluding the medium one with Elsa) were part of a five-piece set, with the final chest featuring Elsa and Anna images, and being the same size as my pink Frozen II chest.

Unfortunately, I have not been able to find this last chest, and while I’ll continue to look, I’m not going to feel defeated if I can’t. I have all the chests I sought to go with those for Frozen II, so I still feel happy. 😉
