2.14.20: Happy Valentine’s Day!

I hope you are having a wonderful day! I spent most of the day at home but I wanted to share my very valentine’s themed bullet journal for the month! 

If you didn’t know I have non-stop been thinking about Miss Honey from Matilda and how much I love her (I could make a whole post about it if you tell me too). So the theme this month is just pretty pink things and wanting to have the wonderful aesthetic and love that is Miss Honey.

(2.14.20) 1) Happy Valentine’s Day! 情人节快乐! I would like to share a post which I’ve written & repeated for the past few years on this special day as it remains true to this day & applies to everyone, everywhere, everyday: “Today we celebrate a day of love for our partner/soulmate/spouse/fiancé/boyfriend/girlfriend/bestfriend! A day filled with love, kisses, flowers, sweets, hugs, gifts & quality time with your significant other. But it shouldn't only be today, it should be that way everyday. No matter how far or near two people are, as long as their love for each other is strong, Valentine's Day can be any day. I believe that a simple "我爱你" (I love you) can go a long way and make a big difference for some. I believe it is the thoughts that count. Love has no qualification. You love who you love and express your love the way you want.” 2) woke up and pretty much stayed home all day doing laundry, ironing clothes, dusting, cooking breakfast & lunch and napping 3) went out to local supermarket nearby & bought food for hot pot tonight! It’s been nearly 2 weeks since we last had hotpot & with the rain & cold weather today, it was a very suitable meal 4) please note that vpn services are somehow being impacted at the moment so I apologize for any delays in my posts. I’m not putting pics or tagging this because I don’t particularly want this post reblogged.

I’m still teaching this week, not that my schedule has really indicated that. All my classes were cancelled yesterday, but I only found out about two of them when I showed up to school, which was frustrating. I’ll be teaching both my first and last high school class of the week today at 3pm. It’s the last day before vacation, so I’ve made the lesson slightly easier and hopefully more fun. We’re looking at commercials and some slang and maybe I’ll try to figure out a game for them.

My grandma died this week, and that’s part of the reason I’m going home. Not just for grad schools, but also for a funeral. Incidentally also a baby shower. It’s going to be a packed two weeks, some of which I’m just learning about now. It’s still a huge shock. I’m going to be a pall-bearer with some of my cousins and I’m not sure I’ve fully processed everything yet. But that’s today’s life update.

ITS 1:30 IN THE FUCKING MORNING AND I HAVE TO GET UP AT 7 BUT I JUST HAD ANOTHER GOD DAMN DISCOVERY. So finally decided to peep slore’s Snapchat and she’s been actively cheating on maggot with MEN. AND this isn’t new stuff either. This is RECENT like January of this year recent! The nickname ‘slore’ just because of a whole lot more relevant. It’s also just so much worse that it’s men too. . . like, stop fucking pretending to be a lesbian. It’s also funny because I was just about to make a post about how she keeps shaming people for being ‘fat’ when she herself is overweight too. And after seeing your nudes. . . you’re clearly projecting. God, and I even found feet pics. . . WHO the fuck is she sending feet pics to?

Update: Oops I saved them to my drive. Fuck it, blackmail.

Wow, it’s Valentine’s day and I’m spending it with my boyfriend. I’m scrolling through all these posts of people so happy with their significant others and... I’m so happy too. 

I feel like it would be typical of me to normally be upset, even though I understood why Jay and I aren’t together on Valentine’s. (He had an exam and I had work scheduled, so we figured it would just be easier to do something the day after). But I’m not upset! I’m happy. 

I feel so comfortable with Jay. I love him so much. 

He sent me this corny graphic that was like “even though we’re far apart, my heart is still filled with love for you” or something like that. It was so cheesy but I literally looked at that photo to cheer myself up when I get upset at work today. He makes me so happy. 

I thank God for giving me such a wonderful man in my life. He’s not perfect but neither am I. I think we go really well together. I look forward to spending many more days-after-Valentines with him. 

Thank you for reading my cheesy spiel and I hope everyone gets a partner (or friends if they’re not into partners!) who makes them feel the same way I do. I think that comes to all of us in our life paths.
