I would have liked this post to be a bit happier but sadly my betta fish passed away. To memorialize her I decided to add her with the death witch for day 5. I also been drawing the other days and haven't had time to post them this week cause schools been a little hectic 😭

Today was better! Today was a lot better. I had a meeting with my advisor and feel confident in what I’m doing. I’m excited to be here! I still have a lot of work to do, but I feel okay about doing it. Some days are just better than others.

Today's Focus

Artwork is from Milo Manara's "Gullivera" He is also the author and illustrator of the Borgia graphic novels; "Blood for the Pope" was among the 500 Essential Graphic Novels.

10.05.23 - It's going to be the last gorgeous day of the year before we get the fall and winter weather so I think I'm visiting the halal cart for lunch.

Work - So I don't have anything left over from the week, but I know I have a couple that are due to come in. DL warned me yesterday about filing & servicing an answer, and SJC warned me on Monday that there's a document I'll need to put a ToC & a ToA on. So there's that.

Background Noise - I have my usual round of YT videos I'm trying to get through: Philip DeFranco's news, Charlie, any new drama from my channels, etc. I may do a few wrestling interviews, but...Sukeban posted their world-premiere event on YT and it's only a hr and a half and well...I'm a sucker for women's pro wrestling, esp from Japan, and a whole bunch of my favorite girls are working for this promotion. Let me tell you how excited I've been just seeing the promos; I can't wait to see the Harajuku Stars perform!

Study - If I can study anything around my work today, then I want to do two of the Emmett Till murder trial testimonies, I want to do at least three (3) more Panama Paper articles, finish my Panama Paper study, and do three (3) chapters each of the two books I'm working through.

Extras - It's garbage day, and I'm making two dinners: one for hunny who doesn't like fish and a salmon meal for myself and dad. I'm working on some writing too but since I only ever manage to write like 10 words a day of any given project whether or not I ever post anything is a mystery even to me.

My three daughters and I had a roaringly good time seeing Zog Live in the world premier at the Rose Theatre Kingston, ahead of a UK tour.
