For longer than I am recall I was searching for something. . I thought I had something to prove. Like my success was determined by how well traveled I was and how far away from my hometown I moved. . Even Margies didn’t feel far away enough. . In the last 5 years I’ve never lived anywhere longer than a year, I can’t count the number of times we moved. . I lived in 3 different states, and travelled to 13 countries. . And it never felt like enough. I came back to WA with some resentment in my heart, I missed the east coast, Byron. I saw it as a place of possibilities, my future.Yet when I was over there I yearned for Margaret River. . The grass felt greener and it wasn’t. It rarely is. . It took me 5 years of movement to truly understand that home lives in my heart. . Your circumstances are defined by you. . This doesn’t just cover where you live, it covers everything you do. . You are the maker of your destiny. You can choose to see the grass in front of you for what it is, or you can keep searching for greener pastures. . If you feel like there are no opportunities for you where you are, make your own. . Feel into the presence of now and be grateful for what you have. . Your success isn’t determined by how many roads you’ve traversed. . It’s determined by one thing only. YOU. . Don’t make excuses for yourself. Don’t quit before you’ve started. Selling oils out of my car or apt and doing out call massages and orthopedics for such long hours that I often fell asleep on my table. Most often we look to outside sources, when most time of the time, you already have everything that you need within you. These characteristics are what kept me going.
