Understanding the Academic Strain:
The academic landscape in the United States is known for its rigor and competitiveness. Students are expected to navigate through a multitude of subjects, each with its own set of assignments, projects, and assessments. Balancing these academic demands with other commitments can be overwhelming, leading to stress and anxiety.
The Impact of Stress on Student Life:
Stress is not just a mental burden; it can have a profound impact on a student's overall well-being. From sleepless nights to compromised mental health, the consequences of chronic stress are far-reaching. It is essential to debunk the myth that availing assignment help is a sign of incompetence. Rather, it is a proactive step towards ensuring a comprehensive and thorough understanding of the subject matter.

I put together a little mini-timeline of Will and Mack’s schedules and potential points of contact in 2024 (pre-dev camp) for my own reference when writing fic. Sharing it here because it might be helpful for anyone else trying to wrap their minds around when/how they were talking and what they were doing before dev camp.
I sourced things that might be lesser-known, but did not bother sourcing, like, the day of the draft. We all know where to find that and I’m lazy. You can expect to constantly hear and see Sheng Peng throughout this primer, because he has understood his assignment as the Will/Mack beat reporter from WELL before day one.
April 11 - Mack and BU lose to Denver in the semi-finals of the Frozen Four in St. Paul, Minnesota.
April 13 - Will and BC lose to Denver in the finals of the Frozen Four in St. Paul, Minnesota.
April 19 - Media confirms that Mack is expected to join Team Canada in Czechia for Worlds (source).
April/May ? - At some point, both Will and Mack arrive in Czechia to practice with their respective teams.
May 3 - Mack is named to Team Canada’s 22-man Worlds roster (source).
May 5 - Will (and Ryan Leonard) are officially added to the Team USA roster for Worlds (source).
May 7 - USA plays a pre-tournament game at Worlds.
May 7 - It’s announced that Mack was dropped from the Team Canada Worlds roster to make room for NHL players who are newly out of the playoffs (source). Or at least I think he was dropped because that’s how most articles frame it. However, this one says that he was told he was no longer guaranteed a roster spot but was given the chance to stay with the team, but opted to return to the US for the draft lottery, instead (source).
May 7 - Mack lands in New Jersey on a return flight from Czechia (source).
May 7 - Draft lottery is held at the NHL headquarters in NJ. Mack attends it. The Sharks win the 1st overall pick, Will stays up late in Czechia watching to see if he’s going to be teammates with Macklin Celebrini (consensus #1 pick, though not to the degree of being a Clearly Generational Talent like Sid or McDavid).
May 7 - During a post-lottery interview, Mack gets asked if he knows Will. He says, “Not personally, but obviously I played against him for the last couple years.” Then he gets asked about potentially playing with Will and says, “It would be an amazing opportunity to play with a player like that. What he did this year was pretty special. I’ve seen it for a couple years now, so to be able to play with him, that would be a pretty cool opportunity.” (source)
This video also makes it clear that Mack’s family is still at home in California and that this was a last-minute opportunity to attend after he was dropped from Team Canada. Then, he confirms he’s going to go home to prepare for the combine.
May 8 - Mike Grier confirms to media that the Sharks will pick Celebrini - when asked if they were going to pick Celebrini, he said, "I would think so. He played 200 feet. He's 17 but he's got a really solid build on him already and I think he's got a professional attitude and mentality already. I've talked with (coach) Jay Pandolfo at BU, and he said sometimes they have to kick him off the ice.” (source)
May 8 - Mack confirms to media that he’s aware of the Sharks’ interest in picking him, saying, “Obviously San Jose is an amazing organization. It's pretty cool… Obviously I lived there for a little bit growing up, with my dad with the (Golden State) Warriors (as vice president of player health and performance). They're a great organization. If I'm fortunate enough to get drafted there I'd be very lucky.” (source)
May 23 - USA loses to Czechia at Worlds in the quarterfinals, ending their tournament. Will doesn’t particularly impress during his time at the tournament, held pointless and rarely cracking the 8 minutes of ice time a night. This is not unexpected for a rookie playing limited minutes.
May 26 - NHL.com posts an interview with Will, in which he talks about Mack. He says, “We've had some matchups this year. I think four times. We've definitely seen each other. There's a reason he's going to go No. 1. He's a pretty special player. Obviously, we had some pretty good matchups this year.. Whenever you're on the ice with another player like that you have to keep your eye on him. We were on the ice quite a few times, some shifts together. Definitely we were keeping our eye on each other." (source)
May 28 - Will signs his ELC with the Sharks. When asked about potentially playing with Mack, he said, “Obviously it's a huge opportunity for us. Macklin is projected to go first. If and when he gets picked, that will be pretty awesome to help this team take the next step and obviously get back to where the Sharks were." (source)
May 28 - Will makes his first non-spon con Instagram post since the draft lottery. Mack likes the post, the first post of Will’s that he’s liked.
May 28 - Will gives an interview to NBC Sports Bay Area about signing his ELC, sharing that he’d decided to sign before Worlds. Immediately gets asked about Mack and says, “It’d be fun. Got to see him more than a couple times this year. Obviously, like I said, he’s a great player and he’s a BU guy, but obviously if the Sharks pick him, it would be pretty fun.” (source) Our beautiful boy Sheng Peng tries to get him to talk about it being special to potentially play with Mack, who’s his age, and all he says is, “I mean, yeah, obviously, it’s pretty special that we’re going to make the first overall pick.” Okay, cool girl.
He also gets asked about him and Mack being the centerpiece of the rebuild and says, “Obviously, feels pretty good for people to say that. Obviously, it's a huge opportunity for us, obviously Macklin’s projected to go first and if and when he gets picked that will be pretty awesome to, you know, kind of help the team to take the next step.” And then he says, “obviously, it would be pretty cool to play together, I think we’d be pretty cool together to watch” (attentionwhore4attentionwhore).
Also, hilariously, someone comments on the interview video, “he and celebrini probably hate each other lol.” The average male mind simply can’t comprehend the idea of weirdly DM-ing your college rival that you don’t even technically play on the same team as yet and immediately deciding to be soulmates… god bless!
June 5 - Will posts a thank you/goodbye to BC on Instagram. Mack likes it.
June 7-8 - The 2024 NHL Draft Combine is held in Buffalo, New York. Mack attends and ranks 4th overall at the V02 Max test and in the top 25 in two of the other events (source).
June 7 - During media availability at the 2024 NHL Draft Combine, Mack gets asked about Will, saying, “"It wasn't very fun playing against him. He's a special player. I've played against him for the last three or four years, so I've seen a lot of him. He's a great player, super shifty, super smooth. Every time we went up against them, he lit us up, so you know, he's a great player." (source)
HIlariously, he also refuses to say that the Sharks are for sure drafting him and says he’s “trying not to get too ahead of himself,” like he wasn’t heavy-breathing as he stalked Will’s Instagram (source).
June ? - I think this video is from June 7, too, and it’s definitely from the Combine, but YouTube is bad about exact dates. Our Wonderful and Beloved King Sheng Peng opens an interview with Mack by immediately asking him about Will. Mack confirms that they’ve texted back and forth, which I believe is the first time we get confirmation that they’re in contact of some kind, beyond just throwing each other Instagram likes. Yeah, Mack, you’re definitely not getting ahead of yourself at all, buddy. He also talks for a full minute about playing against Will (source).
June 9 - The NHL flies four prospects to Florida to watch Game 2 of the 2024 Stanley Cup Finals, including Mack (and everyone’s best friend/first handjob-giver Zeev Buium) (source).
June 10 - Mack attends morning skate and then Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final in Florida, alongside Zeev, Artyom Levshunov, and Cayden Lindstrom.
June 14 - Mack posts dumb Chipotle spon con on Instagram. Will likes the post, the first post of Mack’s that he’s liked.
June 15 - Will posts a photo dump on Instagram that starts with him and Zeev doing shit for Bauer. Mack likes it.
June 20 - Mack posts a photo dump on Instagram. Will likes it.
June ? - At some point, Mack and his family arrive in Las Vegas for the Draft. Mack goes on the Spittin’ Chiclets podcast and does a bunch of other media, goes to a Las Vegas youth hockey game with some of the other prospects, etc. This shit is all well-documented on YouTube.
June ? - At some point, WIll arrives in Las Vegas for the Draft. We know he attends because someone got a picture with him there (source), but he is not in any way involved with NHL or Sharks media when he’s there, which is weird. Was he flying under the radar on purpose so he could avoid media shit? Idk.
June ? - In a pre-draft interview, Mack confirms again that he and Will have talked a little bit when asked if he knows any guys on the team. After immediately mentioning Will, he says, "we're trying not to get too ahead of ourselves... if that happens, yeah." Okay. What does that mean in that context, exactly, given that you both know that you're 24 hours away from being teammates? You're trying not to propose to each other yet? (source)
June 28 - The 2024 NHL Draft is held at the Sphere in Las Vegas. Mack gets picked #1 overall. I think we’ve all seen the Mack-focused draft content, but there’s also this long video about a lot of the top prospects, ft. Mack freaking out about robots.
June 29 - Mack posts a bunch of draft pictures on Instagram. Will likes it.
June 30 - Sharks announce their full official 2024 dev camp rosters, including Mack and Will (source).
July 2 - Sharks dev camp officially begins San Jose (source). Also, Mack and Will officially begin whining and complaining constantly about never getting to play together, something that likely seemed funny to coaching staff and fans at the time, given that they were perhaps not yet aware that Mack was going to attack the stars with a hammer until they aligned to let him play with his special boy.
Bonus - July 6 - Mack signs his ELC with the Sharks. Fellas, is it gay to attend three days of dev camp, go full “[met “Will Smith hockey” and got so hard i got nauseous]: i think i hauve Covid,” and then allegedly IMMEDIATELY dump your long-term girlfriend and sign your ELC, after claiming you hadn’t made a decision and were seriously considering returning to college?
Bonus - Will and Mack have liked all of each other’s non-spon con Instagram posts since May 28. Sometimes they even like each other’s spon con (embarrassing). HOWEVER, Will always comments on Mack’s and Mack never seems to comment on Will’s. I don’t think it’s that deep because they’re not that deep, but someone could probably do something with that info!
Officially submitting the following questions for discussion:
WHEN did Mack decide Will was potentially His Guy, after having played against him for years? Do we think it was the Hockey East final? When a guy who looks like Will Smith and plays for your rival college hangs four on you during a total curbstomping… I can see how that might make Mack’s brain start overheating like a car in the Sahara.
WHO initiated the first DM/text contact? My guess is Will because he was playing it too cool when asked about Mack in any pre-draft interviews. Extremely classic behavior of the outward “Yeah I don’t really know don’t think too much about that guy tbh” while simultaneously inwardly trying to fight the urge to find a reason to double text Mack because Mack didn’t respond to his last text (Mack just fell asleep) type. But who knows!
WHEN did they actually meet for the first time? Not, like, see each other at a tournament or a game, but have a conversation? Pre-draft? At the draft? It really couldn’t have been at dev camp, could it have been???
WHAT is wrong with them?

The Confessions of Nat Turner
The Confessions of Nat Turner (1831) is the first-person account given by the rebel slave leader Nat Turner (l. 1800-1831) to the attorney T. R. Gray (l. c. 1800-1843) following Nat Turner's Rebellion in Virginia (also known as the Southampton Insurrection) of 1831 after Turner had been caught and imprisoned and was awaiting trial.
The Confessions of Nat Turner
T.H. White (Public Domain)
The Confessions is understood as an authentic transcript of Turner's words as spoken to Gray from his jail cell, but shortly after its publication in November 1831, it was challenged as being more Gray's work than Turner's (a claim still circulating today). Scholar Stephen B. Oates writes:
The Richmond Enquirer praised Gray for producing a graphic and revealing document but chastised him for its style. "The language is far superior to what Nat Turner could have employed. Portions of it are even eloquently and classically expressed." This attributed to "the Bandit a character for intelligence which he does not deserve and ought not to have received." But in most other respects, the Enquirer found the Confessions "faithful and true…" (145)
The claim that the Confessions was fabricated by Gray is untenable as it is based on the racist assumption that a Black slave in 1831 USA could not possibly have spoken so eloquently. Gray no doubt edited the piece and, most likely, changed some words, but the Confessions is regarded as overall authentic by most scholars.
The Insurrection & T. R. Gray
Between 21 and 23 August 1831, Nat Turner – an educated slave and lay preacher – mounted the deadliest slave revolt in US history, killing 55-65 White citizens of Southampton County, Virginia, before the rebellion was put down by local militia. In the aftermath, at least 120 Free Blacks and slaves in Southampton were killed in retaliation (that number is considered low for the overall casualties), and more were brutalized and killed in other slave-holding states.
Turner evaded capture until 30 October, when he was found by a farmer, Benjamin Phipps, and taken to jail at Jerusalem, the county seat. While imprisoned, he was visited by T. R. Gray – an attorney from a slave-holding family – who wanted to produce a work explaining the motivation behind Turner's Rebellion and assuring the citizens of Southampton County (and elsewhere) that this was an isolated event conceived and put into action by a single man, not a widespread conspiracy of insurrection.
Gray had been a planter, like his father, but the family had fallen on hard times and were in debt. Although there is no record of his ever attending law school, he took up the practice to help himself and his family financially. T. R. Gray is sometimes cited as Turner's lawyer, but he was not. Turner's case was assigned to the defense attorney James Strange French, who, for whatever reason, passed on it. Turner's lawyer, according to court records, was William C. Parker. Why Gray decided to interview Turner, aside from his stated intention, is unknown.
Most likely, Gray saw Turner's confession as a way to make a significant amount of money quickly. The only document on the rebellion in wide circulation in 1831 was Samuel Warner's Authentic and Impartial Narrative of the Tragical Scene Which Was Witnessed in Southampton County, published before Turner was apprehended and cobbled together from newspaper reports, which only provided a narrative of the events. Gray's intention was to present the story from the point of view of the rebellion's leader.
If Gray's primary motivation was to publish a bestseller, he succeeded. The work was sold for 25 cents a copy, and, as Oates writes:
That November, a Baltimore printer brought out Gray's Confessions of Nat Turner, which sold well enough to merit a second printing in 1832. All told, the Confessions sold about forty thousand copies.
(144)
The American writer William Styron (l. 1925-2006) repeated Gray's success with his 1967 novel The Confessions of Nat Turner, a commercial and critical success, which also won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction in 1968. In 2016, actor and director Nate Parker brought out the film The Birth of a Nation, a dramatization of Turner's Rebellion, which was also a success and, like Styron's novel, is evidence that Turner's story still resonates with audiences today as it did in 1831.

Hi! I saw your post about the NCCC. Can you tell me a little bit more about what it was like? And maybe some certifications or skils I might want to have before applying that would help me be a shoe in? In a year or two I'd like to leave where I am and travel, and then maybe settle down somewhere else after, and this seems like a good way to go about that and simultaneously chase my interests and find things I enjoy. Basically- I've got time to build skills before I want to apply, and I think it'd be a great fit for me, so I'm just curious about any and all information that would help me be more informed and prepared.
What it's like: (note that I served in 2018, so some of this may be outdated information)
Once you're accepted, they place you at one of 4 campuses throughout the USA. You get a duffel bag mailed to you (anything you bring with you has to fit in this duffel) and a plane or train ticket emailed to you. You have to take that plane or train to the campus, because they pick you up in a bus or van from the airport or station.
Once you get to campus, you go through "in-processing" where you get your uniforms, gear, and PPE, get assigned a room and/or bunk, and meet your instructors for training. If you're a Corps Member, you are also assigned a team and meet your Team Leader at this time (though some campuses do this later in training).
Training lasts about 2 months for Team Leaders and about 1 month for Corps Members. You are with the same cohort (called a "Class") for your whole service term, including training. Training includes how to get along as a team, physical training to ensure you're physically capable of the work demanded of you, and specific training on things like how to drive the van, how to use certain tools and PPE, and how to do any tasks associated with your particular role on the team.
Towards the end of training you go on a 1-2 day mini project, where you go through all the motions of a real project (called a "spike"), except that it's really near by campus and it's pretty much for practice.
Then you go on your first real spike. Depending on where it is and what time of year it is, you might live in a tent, in a dorm, in a half-built house, or any remotely suitable housing supplied by the hosting organization. We lived in a conference room once, and once in an old nursing home wing that wasn't being used.
Food is handled by giving a lump sum of money on a card to the team, and you have to figure out grocery shopping and cooking as a team. This is a challenge, but one that usually works out.
For transportation, the team has one 15-passenger van. Gas is paid for by NCCC. If you have a project that requires a lot of tools, you may have a pickup truck too, but this is rare, and you're not allowed to use it for anything other than project reasons. You keep a log of every time you use the van or truck, for any reason, and there is a 25-mile radius from housing that you're allowed to go.
Spikes are between 3-8 weeks long and you do 4-7 of them during a service term. In between you have "transition" where you go back to campus, debrief from your previous project, brief and train for your next project, and catch up with everyone else. At the end of the service term, you have a final debrief, have a life after americorps meeting, learn job skills like writing a resume, etc... and get your plane ticket home.
What you should do to get prepared:
You don't need certifications. If you need to know something for a project they will train you. If you want something I'd say get First Aid or Wilderness First Aid. Getting a little job experience and a lot of volunteer experience will help you a lot more.

Well, well, sometimes a year begins with picking up your foggy brain and writing down a beggining of new chapter

Las Vegas, USA
1253 hrs | 03 st 2004
The common space where the paths of the different teams crossed was filled with cozy couches with small tables. Several of which were occupied:
A group of repairmen seemed to have just returned from an assignment - three men were practically face down on the table, waiting for the fourth. The fourth man, visibly shuffling and swaying slightly, dragged himself toward them with four mugs of freshly brewed coffee.
The girls from Legal watched them sympathetically. Their entire desk was littered with papers, which they had been helped to carry against their will by the Development guys who had been caught out during lunch. Judging by the grunts about being forced to carry heavy things and the slightly crazed looks to the pantry.
At a table in the darkest corner of the hall, on the other hand, were the IT guys. Even from across the room, Salim could feel the aura of sleep deprivation, anxiety, and caffeine addiction emanating from them. Periodically he heard maniacal laughter. There seemed to be two people at the table, but it was hard to see behind the towers of coffee cups.
- Creepy, huh? They must have run out of coffee on their floor. They're creepy but harmless... Most of the time.
- In London, coffee is the highest priority purchasing position after a week-long supply disruption, — Salim grinned, remembering the panic of the fifth day. Then, watching the HR people roaring under the desk, the repairmen praying at the coffee machine, and the senior agents trying to resolve the situation while holding back the howling IT guys on their floor, he had experienced the sheer joy by the opportunity of escaping to the safety of the school's medical room. Refusing on principle to return to the Base until things had calmed down. Having endured all the trials and tribulations he had encountered in his life, he had gained the wisdom to discern when to grab a weapon and fight, and when it was wise to retreat, letting the younger and hotter ones tame the caffeine demons.
- You must be Timothy? - He said warmly, extending his hand for a shake. - Salim Osman.
- So London is one step ahead. As usual, — the young man, who looked a little older than Zane, said with a slight smile, squeezing his hand firmly. - Tim, sir. It's a pleasure to welcome you to our department. Come on, they're expecting you.
To be continued...

The Best Game Chapter 3: Road to Paris
Words: 3.6k
fem!oc x fem!oc Emma Murray and Olivia Oley, playing soccer and each other
Tumblr media
Olivia
We haven’t even spent 30 minutes on the plane from our camp in Florida to our NY/NJ friendly before the Olympics and Emma is already asleep. Her head is leaning back against the seat, her face tilted up and jaw hanging low. She holds the pen she was using for her word search book limply over her lap. If it weren’t for the roar of the engine I would’ve been able to hear her soft snores.
I keep looking over the aisle at her, hoping Kelly to my left doesn’t notice I haven’t turned a single page of the book in my hands this whole time. She does.
“What’s the deal with you guys because it seems like there’s something you need to work out before you’re real teammates again” She asks. I sigh.
“We have a bit of a past, and I was an asshole, actually, I’m still an asshole to her, or were assholes to each other. But I think we play the best that way. I mean, you see us at practice.” Kelly nods. “I am never able to play harder when I go against anyone who isn’t her, and we connect on the field so, so well.” I look over at Emma, sleeping peacefully with her mouth more than slightly open. I had missed the sound of her soft sighs in the years we spent apart.
“So for the rooming situation, will you guys be okay rooming together?”
Im not even embarrassed by how much I just know my face lights up when she says this.
“Oh. So you have that kind of a past.” Kelly says in realization. I can tell she’s doing her best not to smirk. “And you’re just fine hating each other?”
“I don’t hate her. And it’s not like we ever liked each other, it was always just competition and arguments, and then we’d end up back in our shared room. Well, it’s more like we never admitted we secretly liked each other under the mask of the rivalry.” I pause, remembering our last u20 call up. “Well, it's more like I never admitted I liked her.”
Kelly nods, digesting it.
“Just don’t let it mess either of you guys up. We need both of you.”
Emma
It’s an hour long bus ride to our specific hotel, because we get stuck in half an hour of traffic. Before they sit down, Lindsey and Kelly stand in front of the player’s half of the bus (aka the back) and announce room assignments. When they call my name followed by Olivia’s and room 226, my head snaps to look at her, three seats directly behind me. She’s already looking at me. There’s a mix of apology and longing in her eyes and I can’t look away. She doesn’t either.
Something about it stirs up this feeling in my stomach, almost like if we just keep looking at each other we’ll be fifteen again, playing in the u17 World Cup before everything was so complicated. I can’t help but smile at the thought. I see her eyes flicker to my lips but she pulls them back up to mine and smiles back at me. It makes my heart ache, imagining against my better judgement what could’ve been if we hadn’t been so stupid.
I get pulled away by Sophia Smith next to me, tapping on my shoulder, with Tierna and Naomi looking at me too when I turn back around.
“D’ya wanna make a TikTok?” They ask and I agree, deciding to fully throw myself into it instead of thinking about Olivia and sharing a room with her for (hopefully) the next three weeks. It’ll be good, I tell myself. Just like old times, back when we were teenagers just figuring out what it meant to be good at soccer.
I don’t know it, but Olivia watches me the whole time we’re filming. It’s some sort of lip-synch/acting TikTok, and she thinks I’m adorably terrible at my lines. She rolls her eyes but can’t take them off of me.
Then we roll off the bus and grab our bags. Somehow we walk in next to each other.
“Roomie” She greets me with a deceptively shy smile. Her hair has been down all travel day, the blond waves mostly hiding in the hood of her USA sweatshirt and shiny black headphones. It looks effortlessly perfect and I want to run my hands through it to mess it up.
“Roomie.” I greet her back with a nod.
“You better not screw this up for us.” She says, taking on a stern, argumentative manner. I open my mouth in disbelief.
“I better not screw this up?” I can’t believe this bitch. This is the one who comes to me begging for sex and then leaves while I’m asleep when I specifically asked her to either leave after or stay the whole night. Bitch.
“Yeah, did you not hear me? We really need to get your ears checked out.”
“We?” I say again, just as exasperated. I decide to heed Olivia’s advice and not “screw this up for us” by following up with a firm “there is no we anymore.” So instead shove my shoulder into her so that she swerves off the path but not hard enough to actually hurt her.
“Wow, no need to get physical.” She says, hands up in a fake surrender.
“You literally started it,” I say, taking out a finger to point it in her face.
“No, you pushed me.”
“You literally started this fight with your comment.”
“You touched me first.”
“You asked me to.”
“What? When?” She asks, a little surprised but not denying it.
“Hmm let me see, when we were seventeen, or when you showed up at my door last camp?” I ask her, pretending to think hard. She bites her lower lip. We had somehow already made it to the elevator, our bags were now completely dropped and everything but each other forgotten. The doors stop at the second floor and ding open, but that’s not enough to break our stance.
Lindsey clears her throat. I blush, a little embarrassed she has a way better grasp on our story from this little spat. That is if Olivia didn’t already run her mouth and spread our business, which wouldn’t be that surprising since she seemed pretty close to the captain and they played for the same club.
I pick up my bags and start down the hallway. As we get into our room I overhear Lindsey say to Alyssa that she “can’t tell whether its a good thing they’re going to be rooming together” but we don’t hear Alyssa’s response.
Olivia went into our room first, dropping her bags just barely in the room so that I almost immediately trip on them before the door closes behind me. Her first move is also to go into the bathroom, not even caring to check out the room.
I push past her bags, already thrilled at how this is starting to find the worlds smallest hotel room. Thanks, France.
There’s a window that (hopefully) leads to a balcony and shoved up right next to it is the bed. I pause. The bed? Just one? Uh-oh. I step closer to it, observing the terrible layout of the room even closer.  It’s shoved completely to the far window side, leaving an awkward but yet still small amount of space between the bed and the wall shared with the bathroom. But I also discover that it’s two twin-sized looking beds pushed together.
I hear the sink running and before Olivia even comes out of the bathroom she yells out and claims the bed closer to the window, saying “I want the far bed so if someone breaks in they snatch you first!”
“Get out here and help me move them then!” I yell back and she appears by my side, matching my hands-on-hips posture.
“What’s with the beds, Murray?” She asks. I resist the urge to kick her in the shins.
“Just help me pull them apart,” I instruct and move to grab the frame of the one that’ll become mine. She grabs it too, so close that our elbows bump together. We pull and pull and pull and yet they won’t move.
I stand up and she’s still pulling, knees bent into a seated position making a grimacing face like she’s a diver or something. Her fingers are almost completely white and her grip starts to slip. I let her fall back on her ass. She gets back up and into position.
“Just help me pull them apart,” She says, throwing back at me what I had just said to her.
“What if they can’t be moved?” I ask. Maybe I should be worried that we’ll have to sleep in the same bed for the five nights we’ll be here but I’m not. I’m actually (terribly) a little secretly happy about it. I mean, it technically wouldn’t be the same bed, but it functionally would be.
“Then I call the window side.” Olivia says, needing no convincing to give up. She jumps and flops onto her side of the bed and I roll my eyes. Since we took the red eye over its only 11 am. I decide an hour rotting in bed and then a little pick-me-up jog won’t hurt.
For the next half hour Olivia and I just chill like that, our phones at respectable volumes so that we can hear our own FYPs. I can hear the songs that are often edits playing from hers pretty frequently.
At some point she stands up and rifles through our bags to find a cropped USA soccer quarter zip that one wouldn’t expect to look as good as it did with her sweatpants. Then I watched her prop her phone up on the desk against her water bottle out of the corner of my eye. She started rehearsing the moves to some TikTok dance and I search for something on my phone more interesting than my FYP, which isn’t helping distract me from the way Olivia’s moving her hips and her shiny hair is bouncing.
I check my TT notifications and see someone has tagged me in a video. It’s not an edit but rather a series of photos on a screenshot of the TikTok I had just made with the Stanford sisters (as our college coach Paul occasionally calls us). Well, the first image was the “he wants that cookie so bad” image with the yellow Starbucks cake pop looking at the cookie. Then the screenshot of the TikTok, where I’m saying a line and in the background Olivia’s head is peaking out, her hand holding onto the seat in front of her. Although it’s sometimes hard to tell through a screen, it’s pretty obvious in this video (at least to me, and whoever made this) that Olivia’s looking at me. And she’s looking at me like I hung the moon. The face of complete and utter adoration, unmistakably so. The screenshot gets closer and closer in on her face but it keeps me there too so we know what she’s looking at.
Before thinking I text it to Olivia, who’s already tagged.
I unfortunately ruin her take because she sees it pop up on her phone and she turns to me. I wave my hand to brush it off, saying “Just something funny I saw.”
She goes back to the video but I can’t not watch her. Did she really look at me like that? Does she really feel like that? I get drawn back from the glean of her hair and the shape of her ass in her sweats and realize I’m probably looking at her like she was at me, but this time it’s obviously thirst, since she’s making a thirst-trap-esque dance. I look straight at the camera, stick my chin out, and throw up a cheesy peace sign. This room is too damn small for any privacy.
Olivia picks up her phone and I watch her watch the last take. It plays twice before she realizes that I photobombed her and her eyes snap up to mine, which are already trained on hers. I smirk.
“Shithead.”
“Deal with it.”
“Can I post this one?”
She lays down on her stomach, looking up at me. Thank goodness I turned to kind of lay on my side and curl my legs up, otherwise our positions would’ve reminded me of something (that they’re not even that close to, its just the way she props herself up on her shoulders and looks up at me that’s giving me flashbacks).
She turns her phone around to show me. The clear case has hot pink glitter in it, and I take note of the change from when we were young and to the phone I sometimes saw in her social media posts. Not that I would check that often, of course.
On the screen I watch her, but I also watch myself watch her. It reminds me of the way she was looking at me on the bus TikTok.
I shrug. She can if she wants. I’m not mad about it, surprisingly.
“I won’t if you don’t want me to.”
“No, no.” I say, then pause. I try to form something to say about how I don’t want to watch her do that horrendous dance again, but instead “You look good.” Slips out. Shit. I totally blew my cover.
She raises her eyebrows at me. I smack her with a pillow.
After some time I peel the covers off and stand up. I raise my hands above my head and lean side to side, ignoring how Olivia’s eyes trace along the lines of my stomach peeking out under my shirt. I sigh and move towards my bags to find some running clothes.
After I find them, I surprise myself by turning back to her.
“I’mma go for a run, do you wanna join?”
“What kind of run?”
“Probably just a two-miler, easy ten minute pace.” I answer, deciding to just whip my long sleeve t-shirt off and turn slightly away to pull a tank top on instead. “Just to keep everything moving, ya know?”
“Yeah, I’ll join.” She answers, getting out from under the covers and crawling over my side of the bed to rummage through the bags.
Once on the road, we run down each street together, our feet matching pace perfectly. We both know to stop after the first few minutes and stretch out a few muscles before we keep going. Every time we near an intersection or the end of a street, one of us points wordlessly in a new direction and we go.
Although we run in silence, it feels so natural. Just two people so in sync. It’s reassuring almost. Neither or us has music playing since we’re in a new area (and not to mention a foreign country). As out feet pound the pavement I let my mind wander into pretending this is normal. That maybe we’re retired or playing in the French league and we go for simple slow runs every day together. That I look to either side of myself and see her so often that I start to take it for granted. That when we go to sleep at night I always wake up with her next to me.
The last thought stings and I inadvertently pick up the pace. Olivia doesn’t seem to mind and matches me. We hit the end of the two miles according to our watches and I’m about to finish running by an ice cream place when Olivia stops and reaches for me, snagging the back of my tank.
“Hey,” She says when I snap back to her and she releases my shirt. “Let’s get ice cream, on me.”
I let her steer me into the store and pick out a mango sorbet that doesn’t really match her mint chocolate chip. We both sit down at the metal table and chairs outside.
After eating our ice cream for a few minutes in silence and trying not to look too much at each other, Olivia speaks.
“So, do you like your team and all that?” She asks. It catches me completely off guard. I just stare back at her. She continues, apparently determined to make conversation. “Gotham, how do you like playing for Gotham?”
I guess I do have to answer but it’s something I’d actually love to talk about. “I mean I love it there. Great community, awesome soccer, the uge” I answer. Maybe she wants me to keep going. “It’s nice that a lot of the people on this roster play there too because I know them and stuff. I think it’s the best team to learn from, for sure.”
“Do you see yourself there for a long time?”
“I mean yeah, I would love to stay as long as I can. I have two more years in my contract.” I answer, then take another bite. “I’m living with my best friend Riley and Lynn picks me up for practice half the time, it’s a good life.”
Before I can ask her a question, she hits me with another one.
“Do you ever miss college?”
I pause. She has some look in her eye which makes me wish I knew her better. Not that I don’t know her or haven’t spent hours studying her. I know how she plays down to every single detail, I know her gamday routine, I know her family story and her siblings, I know how when she’s scared she runs, I know the little trick with my tongue that she goes crazy for and the soft sounds of her breath when I do them are engraved into my memory. I just wish I knew what she was asking for from me with this conversation and the almost sad look I can tell she’s trying to hide. I wish I knew her well right now.
“Sometimes, but not the important parts. For what it’s worth, I miss that it was familiar, that I was comfortable. I miss my teammates and my friends but I text and call them all the time.”
She nods and looks down.
“Do you not like Angel City or something?” I ask. She looks like she’s trying hard to hide her inner turmoil.
“No I do, I do. It’s just new and I don’t do well with change.” She tries to laugh it off. “UNC felt like somewhere I was supposed to be in a way that Angel City doesn’t though, and I’m just not sure, like maybe that’s what another team would feel like or maybe there’s something missing, or I don’t even know. But whenever I’m with the national team at camp it feels right, in a way I’m not convinced Angel City ever will.”
I nod, digesting. Does this mean anything about me? She said she felt at home in college though, and I wasn’t there, so. Probably not.
“Do you want to find a place around here to grab dinner?” She nods and we stand. There’s a cute cafe we ran by a block ago that we decide on. Once we place our orders and are left looking at each other, she speaks first again.
“I’m sorry I brought up soccer again,” She says and stops. We both know what she’s not saying: it’s a safe topic for us. As long as we don’t slip down memory lane we’ll survive some shop talk.
“We don’t have to talk shop.” Is my response. I want to know her again. I want to be updated on every silly little detail from college and hear about her boring commute to practice and updates on her younger brothers. “How are your brothers?”
I see that I asked the right question because she lights up a little bit, ready to tell me about how Alex is about to start high school and he made the Varsity soccer team as a freshman. She keeps going about him and soccer, then her youngest brother going into sixth grade and getting really into sci-fi books. She gets me to talk about my roommates and my time in NYC, and then we’re making jokes and throwing in some insults but still laughing.
We split the bill and head outside into the slightly chillier night air. Somehow we keep talking and I realize talking with her is so much better than fighting. I realized the depths of how much I missed her. She’s funny, she’s witty, she’s also somehow honest at the same time. I wish I could talk to her forever and we would never stop.
Fuck. I am so in love with her. Still. Since I was seventeen, but probably for longer. At first we were just a couple of nervous fifteen year olds on the u17 team, making small talk in our hotel room, cheering each other on, posting TikToks (musically’s?) in our downtime, and competing hard at practice. Then something changed. We committed to colleges and came back for the next camps and she was mean. More jabs, no jokes. She stared at me a lot too, but never looked at me when I looked at her.
Then we won the u17 World Cup and we kissed. We tried a few additional small things that remain my favorite. On the u20 team we ended up doing slightly more than that quite often, but we were never friends again. Yet I still managed to fall in love with her, how she would always pick me up from the ground and even a rare encouraging smile made my game. And it’s not like we didn’t chat in the dark, lying together skin on skin, and discuss everything we could possibly talk about until we fell asleep (and I normally fell asleep first). Then in the morning we’d be back to bickering.
We reach the hotel and go up to our room, falling back into our silence, but this time it felt pretty comfortable. I fall asleep easy knowing she’s there next to me and going to be for the whole tournament.

Growing into the Job, Post 386: Shipping Notice
Agent FHMA003 aka Subject F0000013a-KK aka Program 0920/2.33xx aka Kathe Klix aka “Kathy” was at her desk. She had a precious few moments alone in the accounting office and without the nattering of the Wade girl or even the chatter of Agents 012 and 013. Kathe liked it quiet. She had spent the last nine weeks as Accounting Office Lead at Far Horizons Medical Associates and - though a far cry from the more daunting responsibilities of her previous assignments in Berlin, Bonn and Frankfurt - she understood that this mission was a key one. That’s why they’d left it to her, a type of Leutnant here.
The assignment location here was once a small but generally thriving Geriatrics Practice in the Midwestern states of the USA. She’d been given its history before being embedded and told that her training and experience in weaponized finance would make her a useful player. It had been her responsibility to help transform it, with the blessing of its majority owner, the blonde American attorney, into a shell for another of her company’s new clinical arms.
In her short time in the position she had - quietly and systematically - dismantled any and all economic independence the practice once enjoyed, drained its accounts and reorganized its finances, all under the nose of its head physician. It was now absolutely dependent on Evolution Pharmaceuticals (and thus the mother company) and a steady supply of grants to maintain its week-to-week solvency.
Like so many other businesses, Far Horizon Medical Associates had become like a zeck, a tick on the fleshy flank of KOLECTV, sucking on the Movement for nourishment. Kathe had done this all without raising as much as a word of concern from the male, who could have been a nuisance but was too caught up in his new affair with Subject MM1-A, too geprägt by her charms to even notice - or at least complain. Not her concern, either way. The practice was soon to be reborn in a new vision, the wheels had already been set irrevocably into motion: “Far Horizons” was to become much more than a small, specialty medical practice, or even just the expanded facility that would open its doors next week. Soon it would be a brand known across the USA, and then worldwide, transformed into an instrument bringing the mother company’s programs to the new world order. It was now partly her job to help prepare for it.  Speaking of, the email alert on her secret phone had just sang out in a <ping>….
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Agent FHMA003 and her HR team would be responsible for the new payrolls, tax forms, and otherwise helping to get these New Women set up in their lives here. She also needed to finalize and secure funds for new construction in the recently purchased local annex buildings and interstate satellite kliniken, as well as the upcoming media events. Plus I need ein dress for this party on freitagabend. She’d be expected to go.  She put away the phone and allowed herself a rare, little smile. It was strange. As a previous recipient of a Program variant, years ago, Kathe was mostly immune to the psychological influence of Subject MM1-A. Like the other Program agents embedded here, she hadn’t been drawn as strongly into the social group that had formed, partly by design. She didn’t go to their house parties, she didn’t go out to the bars. She was not only nearly twenty years older than most of them, but she had known she should try not to get too attached. But she couldn’t help but admit that she had developed an affinity for the girl, for the hive, and - admittedly - for the male. Well, haha, maybe more than mere affinity. The visions had started as dreams, as  fantasien, and the urges began soon after she started here, but always involved him…
<<image removed, tumblr guidelines. Kathe tending to him. See Patreon :) >>
...But she knew she could not allow her urges to keep her from her tasks, at least for now. She was beginning to get an idea what this bienenstock could become, and the heights to which they were all about to arise. This weekend's festivities would be a celebration of that, but just the beginning.
And, plus, the new busengröße will look nice in a little black dress.

Here are my initial ideas for a band/music themed pack (preferably an expansion pack but realistically a game pack). I introduce to you:
The Sims 4: Making Music (working title)
Primary pack features overview:
The new ability to make bands. Either gether a group of your friends together to make a band, or put up listings searching for new members and review their applications. Assign specific intruments to different sims. Set up practice sessions to build skill and learn how to perform together on stage.
Put yourself out there! Perform at concert venues, bars, parks, a creepy basement, or whatever else suits your style. Invite family, friends, or perhaps someone you're looking to impress to your concerts to show off your skills.
New instruments! New guitars, drums, 4 string bass, new keyboard piano, synths, record players, real stages to perform on
New lot type: Concert Venue. Alternatively, you can place a "stage" item in other builds to make them possible venues for concerts.
Attend concerts for other bands/singers (premade townies. Your sims can talk to other townies to learn about them or research bands on a computer)
Explore a new city world full of alleyways and secret/hidden areas. Based off New York, but make it different enough from San Myshuno. (i know people want world based off places literally anywhere but the USA but i just love san myshuno so much i just want san myshuno 2.0 is that too much to ask for). MORE APARTMENTS! CRAMPED!!
One secret location is a speakeasy hidden underground through an unassuming door in an alleyway. It can be edited, but the lot type is locked to be either a bar or lounge.
The second secret location takes you to an old, unused subway station which can be turned into a venue. The door to reach it is locked up behind rusty chains and a heavy lock. To bypass this your sim must explore more of the city to find bolt cutters (or some other way to unlock the door idk) to break the lock. (Or, to incorporate skills, reach a certain level of handiness to pick the lock, a certain fitness level to break the lock, or bring your band-mates to break it together). Once inside, you can edit the lot to make it a venue, practice space, whatever you want, you just can't build full walls. There are debug bathrooms built into the subway around it so your sim isn't pissing themself.
The third secret location is a rooftop of one of the apartments (because there WILL be apartments so help me god) you get by either reaching a certain friendship level with your landlord and asking for it (LAME) or attempting to swipe the key (low chance of success and pisses off landlord, but that's what makes it fun). If you REALLY hate your landlord, you have a decent chance of getting it if you get into a fist fight with them. The rooftop is another secret lot you can edit (though the lot type remains 'generic')
Careers outside of making your own band:
"Producer" career (what do producers do? go around saying "i'm a producer" and making people sign contracts)
"Vocalist" career- start out as a backup singer and work your way up to pop star
I originally wrote out a DJ career before I realized that was a thing in get together LOL. i've been meaning to get that pack (on sale) is it worth it?
Overall Style of the Pack: Similar to city living in the sense that there are two contrasting sides; a very grunge, rocker, underground vibe to most of the pack. but there is also an upscale pop-star side to it for when your sims make it big (as they say). I want the pack to feel Dirty and Used (werewolves pack vibes), with lots of well-loved items (thinking basement treasures), with an artsy edge to it. Lots of stickers, and drawings on things, and random things that look like instruments and instruments that look like other things. For the pop-star side; still a bit of an edge with lots of neon lights and fun colors. Dressing tables/vanities, headset microphone. Accessory headphones that don't look ridiculous. Expand on the grunge style kit with more grunge and rock inspired clothing (we deserve more alternative clothing) and heavy jewelry. Layered necklaces, concert wristbands, band merch. Also performing outfits; a little bit of everything. (New outfit category for sims in bands? Or something you can customize in a separate menu, perhaps the same menu where you can track your band's progress.)
Other Thoughts: I don't want the pack to be easy. I want it to take effort to gain a following and improve as a band, and for the relationships between band members to affect their skill & performances. Starting out, you won't make much money at all for a long time, until you start growing and can make more than you spend. (ticket quotas and fees at different venues. start small and work your way up from dingy basements to bars to lounges to real venues from concert halls to stadiums. (Realistically, some, if not most, of these will have to be rabbit holes but I can dream)
Base Game Update: Make the electric guitars actually sound electric PLEASE.

Sleep Well, Ace Your Exams: Time-Saving Tips for Efficient Assignment Completion
Hey, fellow American students! We've all been there: staring down a mountain of assignments, fueled by stress-eating pizza and questionable amounts of caffeine. ☕ It's enough to make anyone dream of escaping to a tropical island, deadlines be damned! ️
But fear not, academic warriors! There's a way to conquer your workload without sacrificing precious sleep or sanity. In fact, getting a good night's rest is actually the secret weapon in your academic arsenal. Here are some practical tips for efficient assignment completion that'll leave you feeling energized and ready to tackle anything:
Tumblr media
1. Master the Art of Prioritization:
Don't just stare blankly at your to-do list, feeling overwhelmed. Prioritize! Identify the most urgent tasks first (usually those with the closest deadlines). Use tools like Eisenhower Matrix or a simple color-coding system to categorize tasks based on importance and urgency. Remember, not everything needs to be done right now. Delegate, postpone, or even ditch non-essential tasks to free up time and mental space for the big stuff.
2. Plan Like a Pro:
Once you know your priorities, create a realistic schedule that breaks down each assignment into manageable chunks. Don't be a hero – be smart! Allot enough time for research, writing, revisions, and unexpected distractions like that adorable squirrel outside your window. ️ Use apps like Google Calendar or Trello to stay organized and track your progress. ️
3. Embrace the Power of Pomodoro:
The Pomodoro Technique is a game-changer for staying focused and avoiding burnout. Set a timer for 25 minutes, work on a single task without distractions, then reward yourself with a 5-minute break. Repeat this cycle until you're done. This method keeps your mind fresh and prevents you from getting bogged down in one task for hours. ⏱️
4. Tame the Social Media Beast:
Let's face it, social media is a siren song for procrastination. Block out dedicated times for checking notifications or responding to messages, and stick to them like glue. Use website blockers or apps like Freedom to temporarily disable distracting websites and apps during your study sessions. Remember, the world won't end if you miss a few cat videos, but your grades might suffer if you let Facebook become your new best friend.
5. Fuel Your Brain (and Body):
Late-night pizza binges might seem tempting, but they'll leave you feeling sluggish and unproductive the next day. Instead, prioritize healthy foods that boost your energy and focus. Think fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean protein. Don't forget to stay hydrated! Water is your brain's best friend. And don't skip meals! Eating regularly keeps your blood sugar stable and prevents energy crashes.
6. Sleep like a Champion:
This is where the magic happens. A good night's sleep (7-8 hours for most adults) is crucial for cognitive function, memory consolidation, and overall well-being. Develop a regular sleep schedule and stick to it as much as possible, even on weekends. Create a relaxing bedtime routine that includes dimming the lights, avoiding screens for an hour before bed, and reading a book. A well-rested mind is a productive mind!
7. Seek Help When Needed:
Don't be afraid to ask for help! Talk to your professors, classmates, or even consider seeking professional practical assignment help in the USA. There are many reputable resources available to guide you through tough assignments and help you polish your work. Remember, collaboration is key to academic success.
Bonus Tip: Reward yourself! Celebrate your accomplishments, no matter how small. Completing a difficult task deserves a pat on the back (or maybe a healthy treat!). Recognizing your progress will keep you motivated and on track.
By implementing these tips, you can transform from a stressed-out zombie into a well-rested, efficient academic warrior. Remember, it's about finding the balance between hard work and self-care. Sleep well, fuel your brain, and conquer those assignments like the rockstar you are!
So, ditch the all-nighters, embrace the power of naps, and watch your grades soar! You got this, fellow students!

SHADOW
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Having been born blind, Amara spent the majority of her childhood growing up in Nigeria. Fortunately, she was able to hone her other senses to help her live. Sadly, her family lived in a small village that was constantly preyed upon by criminals. One day, a group of bandits attacked the village and burned it down. In the chaos, her family was killed. She was then kidnapped and sold in a child slavery ring. While locked in a black market warehouse, Lady Lotus showed up to inspect the goods. Upon seeing the children, she was sickened and freed them. Noticing the blind girl, she adopted Amara and gave her a home. While living with Lotus, she was taught martial arts and took a particular love of the Boa staff. Before long, Amara was a member of Lotus' network of assassins. She gained the trust of many other members like Shinigami, Viper, and Scarlet Fox. When the time came for her first assignment, she was considered one of the best. The assignment was to go to the USA, specifically Harking City, California. Lotus was looking to move all of her operations to the city and planned to take over from the inside. Amara's goal was to see how viable it was, economically, culturally, and criminally. Lotus wanted to overtake any preexisting criminal operations in order to establish the network's presence in the city. Amara had been programmed by the network to follow orders unquestioningly. Upon arriving in Harking City, she set to work, scouting out every criminal enterprise in the city. It didn't take long to encounter the superhero team P.E.A.C.E. She witnessed the actions of Lady Lotus' nemesis, Ryuko, and admired her methods. She fought with skill but refused to kill the villains she fought. Mercy had not been taught to Amara, as it was practiced by the superheroes. They fought to protect the innocent rather than for personal gain. Remembering how much she hated criminals for killing her family, Amara turned her back on Lotus and join Ryuko.

What happens if you don't pay medical debt USA?
Navigating the complexities of medical debt in the United States can be daunting. Understanding the potential repercussions of unpaid medical bills is crucial for maintaining financial health and access to necessary care. This article delves into the consequences of not paying medical debt, recent regulatory changes, and practical steps to manage and mitigate such obligations.
Immediate Consequences of Unpaid Medical Bills
When medical bills remain unpaid, healthcare providers typically initiate a series of steps to recover the owed amounts:
Billing Notices: Providers will send invoices and reminders to encourage payment.
Collection Agencies: If bills remain unpaid, providers may assign or sell the debt to collection agencies, which then pursue payment.
Credit Reporting: Traditionally, unpaid medical debts reported by collection agencies could appear on credit reports, negatively impacting credit scores.
Impact on Credit Scores
Historically, medical debt has significantly affected credit scores, leading to challenges in securing loans, housing, or even employment. However, recent regulatory changes have altered this landscape:
Removal from Credit Reports: The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) finalized a rule in January 2025 removing medical debt from consumer credit reports. This action eliminates approximately $49 billion in unpaid medical bills from the credit reports of over 15 million Americans, potentially increasing credit scores by an average of 20 points.
Legal Actions and Financial Consequences
Despite changes in credit reporting, unpaid medical debts can still lead to serious financial and legal repercussions:
Debt Collection Lawsuits: Collection agencies may file lawsuits to recover unpaid debts. If a court rules in their favor, they might obtain judgments allowing wage garnishments or liens on property.
Bankruptcy: Persistent inability to pay medical debts can contribute to personal bankruptcy filings, as medical debt remains a leading cause of bankruptcy in the U.S.
Access to Healthcare Services
Unpaid medical bills can also affect future healthcare access:
Denial of Non-Emergency Services: Some healthcare providers may deny non-emergency services due to outstanding debts. A survey indicated that one in seven adults with healthcare debt reported being denied care because of unpaid bills.
Strategies to Manage and Mitigate Medical Debt
To prevent and address medical debt, consider the following steps:
Review Medical Bills Thoroughly: Errors in billing are common. Request itemized statements and verify charges.
Negotiate with Healthcare Providers: Many providers offer payment plans or may reduce charges for prompt payment.
Explore Financial Assistance Programs: Nonprofit hospitals often have charity care programs for eligible patients.
Understand Your Rights: Familiarize yourself with state and federal protections regarding medical debt collection practices.
Consult Financial or Legal Advisors: Professionals can provide guidance tailored to your situation, helping you navigate complex medical debt issues.
Conclusion
While recent regulatory changes offer some relief by removing medical debt from credit reports, the responsibility to pay these bills hasn’t disappeared. Unpaid medical expenses can still result in legal complications, financial setbacks, and restricted access to necessary care. If you're feeling overwhelmed, don't navigate this alone. Working with a trusted personal injury attorney in Omaha, NE or a knowledgeable personal injury attorney in Tucson, Arizona can help you understand your legal rights and explore ways to ease the burden. Whether you're in Bellevue, Papillion, or nearby Council Bluffs in the Omaha areaor living in Marana, Oro Valley, or Sahuarita near Tucson—legal guidance is just a call away.
