"To have never gone to war is something to be proud of."

A lot of GODZILLA MINUS ONE's anti-war message resonates heavily with me. Despite being set ~80 years ago and specifically in one region of the world, its sentiment is universal.

And I turn to the real world, and I see the very thing the movie spoke against - no one deserves to die just because some well-dressed people in business suits say so.

"One side must be obliterated" is not anti-war. Lobbing munitions capable of leveling entire buildings and calling the casualties "human shields" is not anti-war. Boasting of being an upholder of peace while supplying weapons to oppressors is not anti-war.

Saying no to a ceasefire is not anti-war.

Ephesians 4:31-32

Heavenly Father, forgive us for any bitterness we have harbored in our hearts against You or others. Thank you for forgiving us by grace through faith in Christ. Help us to live life as for Him. Help us to be slow to anger, quick to forgive and enjoy steadfast love, kindness, compassion, forgiveness and grace. To the glory of Christ, in Whose Name I pray. Amen 🙏

Be Lord with my girlfriend and all those who face similar circles in their lives. Lord, it seems that so many people are in bad health and I just ask that you visit all of us in this sickness, extend your healing hand over all of our lives and bring us back to health. Be my girlfriend, Lord, and all those who have similar problems in their lives. Please visit us all in this sickness, extend your healing hand to each of our lives and restore us to health. Amen 🙏

At least one day of Peace in the entire world.

When I was a child, I learned the story of the Christmas Truce that occurred in the middle of the First World War. Soldiers of each side of the trenches, singing Christmas carols together, giving each other gifts and playing soccer in healthy competition. I was so shocked by the story that since then, every year I pray for at least one day, just one day when Peace reigns around the entire world in honor of the Nativity of Our Lord.

It happened that one Good Friday, the United States dropped a bomb on Afghanistan, causing the death of thousands of innocent civilians. My purpose of praying for a day of Peace extended to the Easter celebrations since then.

Today, we live in a historical context where it seems that some rulers haven't overcome the violent option of war. So today more than ever, I beg you to join me in prayer that God grants a day of Peace in honor of the Birth of his Son, Who came to save all nations and races without any distinction. May He soften the hearts of the wicked just as He did with Pharaoh's.

A Prayer for the Anxious Believer

Lord, remind me that You are my Shepherd, and I shall want nothing else. You made me to be in Your pastures, to live all the days of my life under Your watchful eye. When the devil shouts over Your soft whisper, remind me that Your voice will bring guidance, peace and security. If I’m panicking, if I feel blind to the near future, if I feel like one wrong move will trip me up-

Remind me that I am not trusting in You. Trying to guess my next moves and replanning my journey through life to avoid whatever the devil has to throw at me means that he is using his tactics to lure me away from You by pretending to be greater than You, quite literally the oldest trick the book. Protect me, Lord. As I am Your sheep, keep watch over me. Come running when I wander away from Your pastures, and never let me stray too far. When the enemy tries luring me away from You using fear to blind me to Your faithfulness, and when he uses panic to make my trust in You falter, call to me above his roar. Call out to me over the pastures to reveal the enemy’s identity and let me come running back to You; my living refuge. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Your only begotten son.

Prayer for peace

I'm not going to act like I know everything going on in Israel and Palestinian. But I know innocent lives have been lost on both sides. I know videos I have seen videos online of Palestinian children in shock in hospitals without their families, videos of devastation. The impacts on men, women and children are devastating. I worry and think about the generations to come and the impact this has on their mental health. The generational traumas that the people have faced. I know I do want to make some change in the world, I do what to use my voice, I do want to help people. If we want to see change in the world we must start with ourselves and what we can do to make change. This has lit a fire within me to help people in ways I feel called to. Stop the violence
