GO GUYS GO!! I love how they essentially had the cures' backs so they could deal with Butler- I love them so much--

AFTER THAT...REALLY VIBRANT ATTACK (and the power of the dead green cure's spirit-) THE GIRLS USED ON BUTLER, HE TRIED AGAIN TO DO SOME SHADY SHIT...But ultimately failed and became a husk of himself.

And all's well that ends well once peace has been restored to the world!! The minions got ROUGHED up but hey, they deserve to be free after what nonsense they just put up with. And they apologized!

Augh...and the last episode is right around the corner...QvQ

Tropical Rouge PreCure Episode 33 Breakdown

Aight so this was the most crackbat episode of PreCure I’ve ever seen. It was basically a skit-show type of episode, and I was partially right in that one of the skits is Kururun’s dream. But I’m gonna discuss all the skits in bullet points n stuff now

All of the skit titles have “Tropical Shine” in the beginning, I just don’t feel like writing it out every time

1. “Tropical Samurai”

The Kurosawa-esque part

Their “weapons” are supposed to be comically long lipsticks, but the way they move them is… suggestive. Unintentionally, I assume (and hope)

It ends pretty abruptly after like 30 seconds, to my disappointment. Overall, not a very impressionable beginning

2. “Palace of the Dragon King” / “A Reward From the Turtle”

The Crayon-shin Chan-esque one with the talking turtle

This one’s kinda weird bc it’s split up into two parts, and there’s a joke at the end like “Oh it was actually 11 skits all along!” but I’m counting it as one

There are a lot of sea animals

I kinda forget this one already tbh. There’s a running joke where all the animals crowd themselves into the Natsuumis’ closet for some reason

3. “The Frightening Mansion of Delays”

This one’s actually pretty wholesome given it’s about the villains. Though that could be because this is Manatsu’s imagination

Chongi-re is a social media personality

Manatsu imagines Elda playing the same bunny game that Asuka was playing and I just think that’s so cute

4. “For the Dugong”

Got the ass end of this episode’s animation budget

Lasts like 30 seconds too. Pretty forgettable

5. “Switcheroo”

The sequel to Episode 15

Why was Asuka!Sango suddenly tan when she had muscles…?

The ultimate switch happens where SANGO AND CHONGI-RE AND LAURA AND THE YARANE-DA SWITCH and holy jesus i was not expecting that but that was funny. There are other switches but those were the funniest

6. “Yarene-da”

Bro. Bro. The meta-ness of this skit… I can’t. They really took the concept of “Why don’t the Cures just stop the villain before he creates the MOTW?” and animated it. I didn’t think a show like PreCure, which thrives on “letting them transform before they fight” would actually do this. I’m impressed, honestly.

This is one skit that’s short but effective as hell

7. “A New Pretty Cure!?”

CURE KURURUN???? AND THEY’VE GOT THEIR OWN TRANSFORMATION??? WITH BUDGET???? They really spent budget on a joke transformation that’s probably only gonna be for one episode lmao this is great

Their transformation background is the same as Summer’s too haha

Their symbol is the shape of their snout

Unsurprisingly, this is the one that’s Kururun’s dream

8. “The Legendary HeartCatch!!”

The title card is done HeartCatch-style. I didn’t even catch that on my first watch

Minori says “Here’s who might be the Legendary PreCure” and plays a video of HeartCatch’s transformations I—

MORE FOURTH WALL BREAKING! They subtly make fun of the fact that the Cures of past years never seem to age (something I’ve wondered about for years with the crossover movies). I’m amazed they actually acknowledged it

WAIT IM LOOKING BACK AT THE SHOT RIGHT BEFORE HEARTCATCH’S TRANSFORMATIONS AND LOOK!!

IT’S HIMARI!!!! (Also it seems that Erika uploaded the video of their own transformations. And this website’s logo is Kururun)

Two of Erika’s Tropical Rouge Cure name ideas are “Cure Hibiscus” and “Cure Palm Tree,” both of which I’ve thought of as possible names

9. “A New Move!”

Another funny meta as hell skit. This one makes fun of the long ass attack names and they go ALL OUT

The LUNGS of these voice actresses, jesus. Like how did they say that ultimate attack name without stopping for a single breath?

Like Manatsu, I can’t pick a favorite. All the attack names are great. But Minori’s was the most strictly tropical

The ending answers the age-old question “Why do the villains wait for the girls to finish with these long ass attacks?” That’s the neat part, they don’t!

10. “The Terrifying Haunted Bubble Picture”

I feel like this one may have been added in bc this is airing near Halloween

Kinda cute. Not as memorable as others but I liked blurry Kururun

Also Kururun is a speedster now I guess??

Overall, great episode. Some of the skits were eh but that’s fine

First and foremost I knew this bastard wanted to destroy the world. And he's a SIMP!!! What a catastrophe-

Of course he didn't, he was lying to y'all the whole time!!! And the way Butler shrugs it off like "Oh I didn't? Oh well, this is the actual plan"

TO WHICH CHONGI-RE IS LIKE "I think the fuck not! I ain't want no part of whatever crazy ass wish that is-"

BUT THEN--

MY MAN GETS YARANE-DA'D--!!!

And Numeri and Elde are fucking TERRIFIED. That's their coworker, their friend, husband and dad which just got used like another item for corruption...

Long story short I'm gonna beat Butler's ass for doing this to my girls, my fave mom and daughter, and crab dad-

THEN PROCEEDS TO PULL THE "hurry and come home, ok?" WITH ELDE....DAD ENERGY...

THEN WHEN SHE SEES NUMERI...

NUMERI JUST GIVES ELDE SOME MOTIVATION POWER TO HER SO THAT BUTLER WON'T BE MEAN TO HER....AND COMFORTS HER....

Y'all this is it, these 3 are my favorite Precure Villains I'm going to cry
