Long Over Due

Hey everyone, it’s been forever since I’ve gotten on here and written something down. First off, my ttc journey is now over. I sit here 37 weeks pregnant with a baby boy. It’s been a long three years and it’s crazy to know he’ll be here so soon. I’m being induced at 39 weeks due to gestational diabetes. He was measured at 35 weeks and was already 6 pounds. (Also has a full head of hair) I have an appointment on the 5th to schedule the day I’ll be induced and I’m so excited. I can’t wait to meet my little guy. He’s been such a blessing and I’m so ready to love him forever.

I’m paranoid so I went out and bought a third test 😂. Still clearly positive even without first morning urine. I guess it’s real!

I had basically stopped being a mom or a ttc blog and mostly post about worth it these days. I expect that to continue but probably with pregnant updates because I want to remember it. Or maybe I’ll make a side blog. Not sure.

I’ve officially been off my BC for a month. We’re going to start trying in January for an October baby (we’re both Libras😂)

But my period is officially 4 days late. I don’t know what’s going on. I’m almost positive I’m not pregnant but I’m hella late. If I was pregnant I’d be nauseous and everything right now right?

I’m gonna take a test because lord knows 3 hours after you waste a test you get your period

Cold Feet

I’ve started to get nervous about getting married and I can’t figure out why. I almost feel like I have some ptsd kicking in. I sit and wait for him to say nevermind or for something bad to happen that’ll make me back down. But he’s excited 🥴 he’s prepared. He’s been financially supporting this huge wedding and helping me plan it.

Then there’s me.

I know without a doubt this is my husband. The man I’ve prayed for the last 6 years has been a perfect image of him. This is my soul mate. I’ve been in love with him since I was 14 and never stopped. My first love, my first real relationship, my twin flame. But for some reason the thought of marriage worries me now? I question HOW? What about ME made you so sure? It’s a weird battle going on in my head. I’m glad we’re starting our premarital classes soon. Maybe I can work through these emotions then.

30 weeks. We'll have a baby in around 10 weeks. How completely unbelievable. If someone would have told me last year at this time that I'd be here right now, I would have smacked them. But here we are.

I made a side blog for my pregnancy because this blog is pretty much a worth it/fan blog at this point soooo... my ttc friends or pregnancy friends or mom friends, or even my not those things friends want to see my pregnancy updates they will be at @missyousofarbaby (because i am soooo not creative)

5dpo, 12+ months of trying. We're about to start the new year! New Years resolution is to quit drinking completely. Wish me luck hahaha.

35 weeks🎉

-5 weeks until my due date 😱 -2 weeks until I can give birth at home😱😱 -1 week (from yesterday) until the home visit-when everything is supposed to be done and ready to go😱💩😱💩😱💩😱💩 -Tonight is our last puppy class 🐕 -Sunday is the second of a three part birth class -Sunday is also our maternity photo shoot! At some point during the weekend we are picking up a couch and a love seat as well as our bed and getting rid of a desk. My goal is to have the thank you cards from the shower done by Saturday and finish the nursery by Sunday. I'm also planning on clearing out the basement and start moving our clothes downstairs to clear out the bedrooms and actually be able to function on the main floor. The hope is that the wall in the basement is going up Monday. If we can pull off all of that, the only things that will still be on the (original) list is changing the food disposal and putting up the fence. The dryer needs to be fixed, the light in the kitchen needs to be replaced, and the bedroom door is broken. I assumed nesting involved clearing out one room for a nursery and making it look pretty before I pop. I didn't realize it would mean several major home improvement projects, all within the last month. Silly me.

7/15/17 I am now 28 weeks in my pregnancy. It's gone by super fast because I'm chasing my toddler around. Josh and I are super excited to be the parents to two girls. I really wanted a boy at first but now I'm terribly thrilled that my oldest daughter has a built in female best friend! I'm feeling pretty okay this pregnancy. Some days are worse than others, but for the most part, I'm doing okay.
