This Thanksgiving, we give thanks to Almighty God, the Commander of Heaven’s armies, for equipping us to be part of His remnant. In these critical times, we are humbled to be chosen as His warriors, called to stand firm in faith and engage in the spiritual battles before us.

We thank Him for the comrades He has placed in our lives—family, friends, and fellow soldiers in Christ—who strengthen and encourage us. We are grateful for His providence, answered prayers, and miraculous healings, all of which remind us that He fights alongside us. We honor the memory of those who have gone before us, who now cheer us on from the heavenly realm.

This past year has been one of training and preparation, filled with both challenges and victories. As we press forward, we do so with hope and courage, trusting that God’s hand is upon our mission. He is shaping us, His chosen ones, for what lies ahead.

Lord, we thank You for the gift of life and for calling us to serve in this pivotal moment in salvation history. May we remain vigilant, steadfast, and ready for the battles to come, knowing that the final victory belongs to You.

One thing about the War in Ukraine I don't think Westerners really get is that from a local perspective... Russia has always been like that. I don't entirely know what purpose mentioning this may serve within the discussion... except maybe to point out that this war came as a surprise to no one in Eastern Europe, and that when we doubt the moral standing of the average Russian, we are deeply aware of how their worldview has been shaped for at least two centuries.

Because when Pushkin wrote his infamous poem against the Polish Uprising of 1830, he used very much the same arguments as the Russian literary scene today. None of this changes. And this is why nothing short of a complete restructuring of Russia could possibly allow for any kind of civil relations between it and its neighbours — if the blood that has already been spilled doesn't make it too late for this century.
