So, lovelies, my hubby turned on the Game Show Network and Press Your Luck was on. I explained to the kiddos that the whammies try to steal money from the players. My son left the room and came back with his piggy bank.
Pretty sure there's something wrong with me on a fundamental level. My kid's friend is obsessed with vintage game shows and paid me to make this guy for them. The picture is what I referenced when I made the pattern. It ended up looking a lot better than I thought it would.
so while I was in the US I of course poked around at american television a good bit, which often sucked, but I did have one fairly amusing night where I ended up simultaneously watching two game shows that were BOTH having amazing nights (and ended up having to use the record function to catch the end of both, after getting stressed out switching back and forth!).
One of which was the "Human Jukebox" episode of Don't Forget The Lyrics, a show I'd never seen before and which I suspect almost never has a contestant who's that good at it. The other was "Deadpool and Wolverine" night on Press Your Luck, which I've just discovered has been added to the TVTropes listing by someone as a particularly awesome episode, so it wasn't just me that thought this! (That summary doesn't even do it justice.)
I can't believe since season 6 started, I've been eagerly hoping and praying for an ABC Elizabeth Banks revival Whamzilla and look what was in the commercial last night…..! /pos
HOLY CRAP DID I MANIFEST HIM JUST LIKE THAT?? YOOO!! THIS IS WILD
