I gotta ask, do survivors really hate playing against modern Skull Merchant? I find her aggressive setup playstyle really fun, and putting drones in unexpected places and then mindgaming survivors into going through them and injuring themselves I find super duper fun. Other setup killers like Trapper, Hag and Singularity rely really heavily on maps, while SM is workable most places (which is great for a dumbass with absolutely no ability to remember map layouts lmao)

Point is, I think that in her current state she's super fun. I played a round when she was first released and yeah, it was kinda lame, but I gave her another go recently and got completely hooked, pun entirely intended. I still see a lot of people hating her though and I try to make matches fun for everyone, so. Is she actually unfun to play against? Or is it just a bad reputation?

Heather mentioned collecting gel glitter pens. I think she’s into scrapbooking or stationery. She collects those fancy Japanese erasers in the shape of food and animals.

Heather definitely has a burn book. It’s very detailed and professional looking.  

It's been a while since I've looked into any gen 1 characters....but I kinda liked her friend group with Lindsay and Beth. They go shopping a lot! Beth always has a cute animal eraser in her pocket for her lol.

Heather will never say no to karaoke night. Harold got into it after he begged her to sing some anime OP with her. They make….a surprisingly good duo. 

Mentioning Heather and singing….one time Duncan’s vocalist got arrested and couldn't make a set last second. Heather somehow got roped into it and is now a backup vocalist. 

Heather loves very intense horror films. The girl said her dreams are SAW but pastel…..you know some of her movies made even Gwen and Duncan’s stomachs flip.

Some of Heather’s other hobbies include dance, singing, fashion, and theater.

The PC version of 999 has a terrible final puzzle, but as someone who's only ever played that version... the DS version's final puzzle sounds awful too? I'm not a fan of sudoku. I certainly don't want to play it in the middle of a video game.

Time makes fools of us all and ten years onwards i realize my opinions on awakening have marginally changed. a part of that is legit developing tastes and opinions, i can appreciate what works about it more and all that, even if i'll never quite be in love with it.

i think whats kinda more so shifted for me however is expectations of the series going forward. around when fates was releasing and awakening was still hot, three houses probably would have sound very appealing to me on paper. now and especially with the previous three years of fandom and discourse in mind

i think i just want something thats willing to poke fun at itself more, something that still tells a good story mind but doesnt feel like its so wrapped up in its own self importance like both houses and hopes do. cause houses and hopes i feel pretty clearly illustrate how that lack of self awareness, when your story is being incredibly fucking stupid, can really hurt a narrative.
