Valyrian Demingods of Westeros - Son of Caraxes
High Tide was lit by the brilliant flashes of lightning dancing in the sky, as her white walls were pelted with heavy rainfall. Within her walls, one could hear the screams of Princess Rhaenyra as she gave birth to another child, just over a year after the birth of Princess Alyssa.
Prince Jacaerys would be turning three within a few scarce months with Princess Alyssa's birthday following only 3 months later. Both were being cared for by their grandparents, Lord Corlys and Princess Rhaenys, as their father, Ser Laenor, supported her in the birthing room.
Unfortunately King Viserys, Queen Alicent and their children had stayed behind in the Red Keep, believing that Princess Rhaenyra would be able to return to give birth. But a storm had halted their ship, and the little one was quite excited to emerge during the storm.
Bouncing Alyssa in her arms, Rhaenys stood by the window and was witness to the spectacle as the sea calmed and the storm abated within moments, bringing forth the slightest hint of the sun. "Corlys," Rhaenys whispered, awed by the spectacle.
Her husband joined her, curious smto see what had his wife so shocked, only to be shocked as well. "The storm . . . I have never seen one stop so suddenly," Corlys admitted. Alyssa giggled, curling close to her grandmother peer over her shoulder.
Sat on the floor, Jacaerys stared back, smiling happily. "He's here," Jace said, climbing to his feet as Alyssa nodded.
"'Uke!" She cried in delight as the door was opened by a guard. The maid bowed, hair in complete dissaray and panting heavily.
"The Princess . . . the babe . . . a boy . . . both healthy," The maid gasped.
Rhaenys and Corlys stared at their grandchildren who were looking back at them expectantly. Genuinly confused as to how the children had known, they picked then up and carried then to the birthing room where they were greeted by a slightly frazzled looking Laenor, an exhausted Rhaenyra, and a babe swaddled in Velaryon blue-green silk cradled within his fathers arms.
Dmiling, Laenor held out his arms so the four could look, "Father, Mother. Alyssa, Jacaerys. I would like to introduce you to the future Lord of the Tides, the Heir to Driftmark and High Tide, Lucerys Velaryon, blessed by the storms and the tides themselves."
"What?" Rhaenys asked, eyes going wide as Laenor gently manuevered a little arm out of the swaddle, revealing a birthmark in the shape of Caraxes, the God of the Seas, Water, and Storms, mark. 4 stars facing the cardinal directions with a singular star in the center and ancient rune across the pale center of the star.
Corlys glanced down to Jacaerys, who hair barely hid his own crown shaped sigil with the rune for Justice upon the center and the runes for king on the sides, just as Rhaenys glanced to Alyssa, whose mark was weirwood branches along her collarbone that formed a circle at the hollow of her throat with rune for peace inside said circle alongside a feather and torch.
"Laenor," Rhaenys began, gaze sharp but worried. "Why do all three of your children have birthmarks in the shape of the sigils of Arrax, Tyraxes, and Caraxes?"
Two sets of eyes stared widely at her, nervous. Rhaenyra shifted, wincing at the pain as Laenor looled around the room so he wouldn't meet the eyes of his parents.
"Laenor."
Laenor's gaze snapped to Corlys at his tone, a fire gathering in their depths. "You forced us to seek out other methods for I to give Rhaenyra trueborn children. We found a method and now you have three heirs for grandchildren. That is all you need to know. I will be taking mt children now, they need to get to know their new brother, if you would excuse us."
His clear dismissal hurt but they put down his children and left, unsure of what to do, except send a letter to the King and his family to inform them of the new birth.
In King's Landing, within the Red Keep, Queen Alicent and her children were forced to listen to King Viserys read the letter aloud.
'Dear Cousin,
You will be most disappointed to hear that Rhaenyra was unable to give birth in the Red Keep, but she gave birth during one of the worst storms Driftmark has likely ever seen. When her son was born the sky calmed, the rain stopped, and the tides receded and everything was peaceful as if there had never been a storm in the first place.
We are delighted to send word of the birth of Prince Lucerys Velaryon, Heir to Driftmark, and future Lord of the Tides. Born with the Velaryon locks, eyes, and skin, we can only wait for his skills at sailing to emerge like his brother and sister's skills did.
Rhaenyra and the children are all doing well. She has spoke of the ease she has felt here on Driftmark and have told her that our home will always be open for her, no matter the circunstances. We are unsure of when she will return but it will likely be upon dragon back so I, Rhaenys, shall go as well so they don't have to carry two toddlers at once.
The Targaryen-Velaryon grows ever larger with the births of Prince Lucerys and the previous births of Lady Baela and Lady Rhaena.
Congratulations cousin on earning another grandchild.
Yours in blood, Princess Rhaenys Targaryen, Lord Velaryon'
The absolute joy the man expressed at the ketter had the Queen picking at her nails, even as her children just watched or ate, content to ignore their father as he did them. She hated Princess Rhaenyra for birthing yet another child with the Valyrian features, but she did not understand the tidings it brought.
Yet another blessed child to aid the Blacks and the future of House Targaryen.
Prince Lucerys Velaryon, Second of His Name, Heir to Driftmark, Future Lord of the Tides, Stormborn, Undrowned, the Sea Dragon, the Sailor, the Red Star, had been born.

Books I read/reread in the last 3 months of 2022 and recommend (and yes, all apart from two are queer)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Also recommend to check for trigger warnings just in case, this website for books is the one I use, or you can ask!
Act Your Age, Eve Brown by Talia Hibbert
Eve Brown is 26 and still hasn't found her passion, so after an argument with her parents she drives off and finds a cute B&B that is hiring a cook, so she takes her chance, not expecting to find out new things about herself along the way
I read this book because there are autistic characters in it and I felt so fucking seen when reading this book (especially by Eve), very very good book and the dialogue is AMAZING, you will definetly laugh! Also just fyi two very explicit scenes and very graphic (all consensual and lovey dovey) but wanted to say it just in case because they use more explicit language than what I'm used to lol 9/10
All That's Left in the World by Erik J. brown
Almost a year after a flu pandemic two boys find each other and help one another on their journey to find help, and feelings might start up on the way to their destination
Started reading it because I love The Last of Us and knew this was going to be sort of that style and I ABSOLUTELY LOVED it, I couldn't put it down like... I have no words... wow, one of the best stories I've read! Jamie and Andrew my beloved 10/10
Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Sáenz
Two 15 year old boys meet in the summer of 1987 in El Paso, Texas, at the swimming pool where Dante teaches Aristotle how to swim, which marks the start of their friendship and adventures together, and maybe more...
An absolute delight to read and these two boys are just adorable (their parents are also super nice), very easy to read and keeps you wanting to know more about the story 9/10
Aristotle and Dante Dive into the Waters of the World by Benjamin Alire Sáenz
Continues right where the previous story ends, we see how Ari and Dante's relationship moves forward while also touching the topic about the AIDS epidemic, internalised homophobia, family and friendship
I really liked the sequel, you get to delve deeper into Aristotle and the people around him, and the ending was just as beautiful as the first one, Aristotle and Dante must be protected at all costs 9/10
Every Heart a Doorway by Seanan McGuire
Some children find a door/portal to another world which they eventually consider home, but they eventually end up back in the real world again. It might have felt like years since they left, but it's only been days for their parents/siblings who were in the real world waiting for their return, so they send them to a special school to get better (and also meet others like them who have been through the same experience)
Fantasy and mystery book (a bit of gore too because of murder), very very interesting and fast read, and if anyone deadnames Kade I will deck them 9/10
Heartstopper (volume 1-4) by Alice Oseman
A graphic novel showing the journey of young lgbtq+ teenagers showing their life through high school in the UK, the main characters are Nick and Charlie and we see them grow and fall in love
Just an amazingly adorable lgbtq+ story and beautiful illustrations, you will fall in love with the characters instantly, definetly recommend, especially for someone who might not be a "book" person since it's like a comic/graphic novel 10/10
Her Royal Highness by Rachel Hawkins
An American girl goes to a school in Scottland for her final year in high school and gets to be roommates with a princess, what could possibly happen...
The slowest of slow-burns, enemies to friends to lovers, and roommates, what more could you ask for? Sort of a mix between Red, White and Royal Blue and Young Royals but wlw. Also Perry my chaotic beloved 7/10
I Was Born for This by Alice Oseman
Angel is a massive fan of the boy band The Ark and meets up with an internet friend to meet them and go to their concert, all the while we also see how Jimmy and his other two band mates cope with fame and fangirls
You think famous people are perfect? You put them on a pedestal? Feel possessive? Ship them together? Then read this book to learn the reality of it all and maybe you can grow tf up 8/10
Lost Christmas by David Logan
A child called Goose lives with his nan in Manchester and does petty thefts for a bit of cash, alongside his dog Mutt, but what he doesn't know is that stealing a certain jewellery will be the first domino to unravel certain events that might just change his life, and possibly a second chance
This book will break your heart and mend it in the most marvelous way, you can connect with every single main character in one way or another, the story is fascinating and the twist is just so unexpected, one of my favourite books that I read as a kid and reread now 9/10
Loveless by Alice Oseman
Georgia and her two best friends just finished high school and are going to the same university, but things start to unravel when Georgia thinks that she has wasted her teens by not having her first kiss yet at the ripe age of eighteen, but soon finds out why she has never had a crush (and wonders why society is so obsessed with sex and love)
I am Georgia and Georgia is me, I felt so seen in this book and I could understand almost all of the main characters thought process and struggles, thank you Alice for writing this book, it means the world to me 9/10
Nick & Charlie novella by Alice Oseman
Takes place about a year after the 4th volume of Heartstopper, Nick is a few months away from going to university and Charlie is worried that a long distance relationship might not be the best idea... But of course, they are Nick and Charlie, so not even that can stop them
Very quick read, angsty and spicy at the same time lol 9/10
Our Favorite Songs by Anita Kelly
Aiden and Kai haven't seen each other since high school five years ago, and running into each other in a queer karaoke bar might be just what they needed to reconnect and get to know each other
If you liked Alex and Henry from RWRB then you will love this, it's fluffy, smutty and angsty and it's just an amazing story, very fast read too and it will get you hooked from the very beginning 10/10
Radio Silence by Alice Oseman
Takes place about a year or two after Solitaire, following the life of Frances Janvier and Aled Last. They need to start thinking about their future and university options, but before anything is decided, a YouTube podcast called Universe City might be the answer they needed
Oof okay, this was darker than I thought it was going to be, had to take a few breaks because of intense scenes and personal trigger warnings, that's why I lowered the rating by a point, but just like any other Alice's books, very well written 8/10
Red, White and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston
FSOTUS Alex and Prince of Wales Henry have to pretend to be friends, and in doing so actually become friends, and something more (shenanigans ensue)
One of my favourite books EVER! (If not my favourite book that I've read so far) Amazing characters, amazing writing and you feel the emotions so deeply, and Alex is a little shit (affectionate) throughout all of it 10/10
Solitaire by Alice Oseman
Takes place in the universe of Heartstopper (around volume 3-4), but this time the protagonist is Victoria "Tori" Spring, Charlie's sister. We get to see her life at school and at home, and how a blog named "Solitaire" changes everything
Much darker that Heartstopper but still an amazing story, you really just want to give Tori a hug 9/10
They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera
People recieve a phone call on the day they are going to die to inform them of the tragic news, two boys in their late teens recieve the call and spend the last day together, forming an unlikely friendship and something more
I'm so much like Mateo it's INSANE, also very interesting how some of the characters were connected with one another, very interesting concept and part four was my favourite, but also get your tissues ready because you will CRY 8/10
This Winter by Alice Oseman
Takes place about 1-2 weeks before Solitaire, during Christmas day. Written in Tori, Charlie and Oliver's POV
Very quick read, and you get to know the extended Spring family a bit more, also Nick's family a bit 9/10
Volverán a por mí by Josan Hatero & Use Lahoz
"Disobedient" teenagers are sent to an academy in scotland over the summer so that they learn how to be good and disciplined, meanwhile three strangers become friends and find out what really happens in that grey mansion and try to escape
This book is in spanish, I read it for the first time when I was in high school (like 10 years ago when it first came out lol) and instantly fell in love with it, it has the same vibes as Every Heart a Doorway but more dramatic, very cool and easy to read 9/10
Queer rep:

Zoomer Huey rants about fairytales and Disney, okay they been a mess with public domain post Walt… but dear lord the copyright shitshow on the other 18th century-
Shit anyways, let use the earliest Disney movies to say Hercules (I can use mulan but we have very easy access to the og tale vs the classic Disney films)
Let me use the mother of all modern American animation, Snow White and the seven dwarfs
The thing is that Walt Disney grew up watching a version of Snow White in theaters as a child
And he decided that he wanted to do a new SPIN of the Classic fairytale in the then NEW and GROWING style of storytelling that was animation
And that the thing about a lot of Walt Disney era films like Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland, Sword in the Stone, and Jungle Book.
They were SPINS on classics books and stories that were used in live action movies and plays at the time
And while behind the scenes knowledge became more well known after inking and desire to research it became more popular. Surviving documents and quotes always had Walt and his crew doing a different take on the source material. It just the Disney takes on fairytales stood the test of time due to animation styles and the company preserverstion measures
Also the grimm thing….does anyone look up that the Grimm “fairytales” was a AMALGAMATIONS of different European folklores. So they serve as the basic of where you can get into European folklore…but it always had a citation needed as each region, culture, and era will have a different spin on it
Hell the Arthurian Legends are big examples as they rapidly change over the centuries. Hence why in Sword in the Stone, Merlin mention movies because he was hinting at Art that his life and stories will be retold and remembered for centuries to come.
But Hercules ugh
“Did you know Hera was actually a bitch-“ did you know that the Greek myths been a backbone of western culture stories for years and around the same time of the Disney movie, there were 2 popular Greek myth shows called Xena Warrior Princess and the legends of Hercules?
Not to mention that the animators presumed you would have learn the og Greek myths in high school English class like they did
And there was a ODEIPUS joke where Hercules thought his daddy issues was bad until he saw the play of the tragic Thebes king
Actually that the thing that I I notice with a lot of pop culture media and Wish is prime example…
Do people only know the CONTEMPORARY versions of Stories and don’t look into classic media or inspirations
Actually a lot of modern dc and marvel comics lore got me thinking here this as a example
Current comics writers and fans know that superhero teams like the Avengers and Justice League are contemporary American twists on classic team groups like Argonauts or Knights of the Round Table right?
Sorry, a lot of media is like…someone making a hamburger and think fast food is the basic for that. Make sense?
And that the thing about a lot of Walt Disney era films like Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland, Sword in the Stone, and Jungle Book. They were SPINS on classics books and stories that were used in live action movies and plays at the time
Walt was a storyteller first and foremost, ya so he adapted a lot of things staying mostly true to the story but not entirely, which make them your own if you can at least with the Grimm stuff since you don't have any copyright issues to fuss with there.
Peter Pan is a odd case, there's still a partial copyright in place even though it's way past where it should exist, but the money funds a children's charity so people let that be, and I think it only is a thing in the UK.
But Hercules ugh “Did you know Hera was actually a bitch-“ did you know that the Greek myths been a backbone of western culture stories for years and around the same time of the Disney movie, there were 2 popular Greek myth shows called Xena Warrior Princess and the legends of Hercules? Not to mention that the animators presumed you would have learn the og Greek myths in high school English class like they did
I knew about Hera, Hercules and Xena too. Hercules really had the biggest issues with Hera not Hades too, but that doesn't work for the story. Also Walt was long dead so not on him at least.
One other bit that bugs me to no end, Hercules is Roman, Heracles is Greek and almost nobody in media ever gets it right.
And there was a ODEIPUS joke where Hercules thought his daddy issues was bad until he saw the play of the tragic Thebes king
Ya they do that, throw those in for the parents. Much better than the naked people in Great Mouse Detective lol.
Actually a lot of modern dc and marvel comics lore got me thinking here this as a example Current comics writers and fans know that superhero teams like the Avengers and Justice League are contemporary American twists on classic team groups like Argonauts or Knights of the Round Table right?
I never put that much thought into it, but honestly most media produced is a twist on a existing tale.
Black Panther, to The Lion King, to Kimba the White Lion, ect till we get to Hamlet, and it actually keeps going from there but I forget the stuff in between Kimba and Hamlet and after Hamlet.
Clueless is just Jane Austin's Emma, 10 Things I Hate About You is Taming of the Shrew, to be fair the writers and such were very open about the fact that they were doing a modern retelling on those ones, several others too big thing in the mid to late 90's.
Sorry, a lot of media is like…someone making a hamburger and think fast food is the basic for that. Make sense?
Think so, would be nice to see more effort put forth. At least for some types of films, stuff that guys like Adam Sandler fart out in order to take him and his friends on a 6 week working vacation and get some people that haven't worked in a while working so they can keep their SAG insurance and what not can stay as they are.

~Princess Marie 'May' of Hesse + Princess Alice of The UK edit~
These two important figures in the life of the future Empress Alexandra Feodorovna - the little sister with whom she was very close and the mother - died within a span of less than a month, which left a deep mark on the soul of six-year-old Alix and her family. When May died of diphtheria, the children didn't know about it for severa weeks. Alice finally told Ernst in early December. His reaction was even worse than she had anticipated; at first he refused to believe it. As he sat up crying, Alice broke her rule about physical contact with the ill and gave him a kiss. Twenty-eight days after her beloved daughter, Alice followed, leaving a distraught family still reeling from the loss of May and now having to deal with the departure of their mother.

The anon's not wrong. LP's are binding and have the value of law, but their existence, use and application is solely at the discretion of the Monarch, as the fount of all royalty and nobility. ( this is not the case with peerages who, once granted, can only be taken away by Parliament according to the TDA).
Did AL become princes of the UK the second Charles became monarch? Yes, but that in no way means that Charles was bound to leave it that. LPs are not law to him; they are simply the expression of one monarch's desire, to which he may or may not have acquiesced.
PPl are right when they say being titled princes is their birthright, but it's not that he couldnt have decided against it or made changes. We have seen changes being made to the convention, first for George and all of W's kids- purely at the discretion of TQ- and then with Charlotte, but in her case parliamentary assent was needed from every place TQ was Sovereign because it changed the law of succession by eliminating male primogeniture. And we also didnt see changes to them- the famous case of the Wessex children. They are not titled and styled as royalty because TQ wanted them not to be and that was sufficient. No LP was issued and the assent of the Wessex was a formality (like imagine saying nah, fam, we good). And it was also the case for the former duchess of Gloucester. After the duke died and Bridgette became TDG TQ allowed her to title and style herself as princess (Princess Alice) even though she wasnt entitled; no LP was ever issued because TQ's will was enough. [Other changes include styling Anne and Charles when TQ was just PE; Anne however is usually dragged in this discussion but all she was offered was a peerage for Phillips, which would have resulted in the kids being styled as the children of an Earl, not a royal Earl, and therefore outside the scope of the LP convention].
Both can be perfectly true. AL were "legally" princes of the UK the second grandpa ascended, but it would also have been perfectly possible (and still would be, in theory) for C to have said/say no, you arent, in which case his word would have been sufficient. Changes have happened in UK history, HRH princes became HH or vice versa, ppl who were had the prince status taken away, and whatever, and it wasnt a punishment or in accordance with parliament or anything like that. Charles isnt compelled one way or another. So again, did he just do what the applicable rule says? Totes. Did he have to? Niet. Could he change the rules? Yes, ppl were actually expecting it. Could the rule act retroactively? Actually yes, no problem (obvs big practical problem, but not legal problem). Hell, even the clarification from BP yesterday night that the kids cant use the HRH either because their father's title - but not the York's HRH- is in abeyance is a very interesting novelty.
Sorry for the wall of text, I've seen so much bs spilled yesterday on this it hurt me in my nerdy spirit.
I think it all falls in the category of personal feelings. A lot of people don’t like the Sussexes and are projecting those feelings towards this situation. They don’t really care about the LP and the lack of titles. They only care about punishing the Sux.

🤍: who is your fav underrated royal
There's two:
There's Princess Catherine Hilda Duleep Singh, she's the daughter of the last Sikh maharaja - the young king who Queen Victoria fostered in England. She grew up there, was presented in court etc. She was Suffragist like her sisters. She also was an advocate for LGBT rights, she herself was in a relationship with her former governess Lina.
Coming from the cultural background she came from despite her having been born and raised in UK, this in itself was a very big achievement - being openly gay in front of the world really, including her own family who had been rulers of one of the largest indian kingdoms before the defeat of her grandfather.
Heck indian families today don't accept their kids' sexuality In 99 percent of cases and Catherine Hilda was doing this is the early 20th century. That took some serious strength from her.
Tumblr media
During WWIIshe and Lina would take in children from London which was being bombed at that time and relocate them to the safer places in the countryside.
Also some time later to help the people, they both decided to relocate to germany from where they helped the jews escape. During their time she used her own money to help numerous Jewish families to get out of Germany and escape to the UK.
This is her with a family they helped escape -

And
Princess Alice, Going through the kind of life she did and coming out of all that trauma to do the wonderful things that she did.
She was born in probably the highest of high places but through her life she probably went through the lowest of low points that someone can. Even then she decided to save innocent lives during a time when she could have also turned her face away like so many people did. Even certain people she was related to. But she didn't look the other way, instead she decided to help as many as she could. And that would always make her a queen to me.
Tumblr media
The amazing things she did are not talked about enough and I wish they were. It's sad how she's been almost forgotten by most outside of out corner of the internet and by most people here too.

Any Halloween headcanons of your OCs?
Yes, of course. 🙂
Suits (Charlie Specter) - Charlie absolutely loves horror films and haunted houses. The more nightmare-inducing, the better. Harvey cannot understand the appeal. She usually ends up knocking on his door when she can't fall asleep afterwards.
Peaky (Clara Shelby) - Something about the chillier air in autumn makes Clara want to bake so she always pesters the chef at Arrow House to teach her new recipes. She's an absolute scaredy cat. Terrified of ghost stories. And I'm not entirely certain on the nature of Halloween in 1920's UK, but from a brief search, going around to houses in costume and performing for food appears to have possibly been a thing. And I can absolutely picture little Finn and Clara doing just that, developing a little performance and going house to house for some spare sweets.
Twilight (Mia Cullen) - Mia dresses up as a vampire more than once for Halloween. She does it as a child to be more like her family and then again as a teenager just to be a smartass.
The Punisher (Lenny Falconio) - Lenny loves Halloween and doing all of the stereotypical fall things. She's very serious about pumpkin carving, apple picking, and putting together homemade costumes for everyone.
True Blood (Elisabeth Northman) - Elisabeth has never gone trick or treating.
Shades (Emmeline Grey) - Emma has always had the most extravagant Halloween costumes. Like thinking full gowns and tiaras when she wanted to be a Disney princess. Her birthday is shortly after Halloween, so she also usually liked to have Halloween-themed bday parties while growing up.
The Family Stone (Maggie Stone) - Most of Maggie's Halloween costumes growing up were old costumes belonging to her older siblings and almost all of them were difficult to guess what they were supposed to be (Sybil and Kelly are a bit eccentric, after all).
Supernatural (Nora Winchester) - Pretty sure Dean is more into Trick or Treating than Nora because he always makes sure she gets to go even if they're on the road. It's a great way to get boat loads of free candy and to pick up chicks. Nora's fine with it until she gets to be ~13 years old and feels too old to be going door to door, but Dean pushes it anyway.
White Collar (Alice Burke) - Alice loves going to look at the fancy Brownstones on the Upper West Side decorated for Halloween. She gets special permission to have Neal's radius extended temporarily so he can go with her.
Marvel (Maxine Parker) - Max dresses up as a different avenger each year (another girl being a casual smartass 😅).

uk/nyo!uk; Arthur/Alice, Victorian era-ish.... it's cliche as hell but like Alice being the daughter of some really rich lord and Arthur being... idk... the grandson of said lord's butler who is going to retire and Arthur is going to take his place and he knows it's a very good opportunity (especially since he is very very young for it--like 24ish) and all so he's not going to deliberately fuck it up, but he kinda doesn't want to do it... let Arthur be a little scrappy, a little bit toooo class conscious. His father is a butler in another household so Arthur feels...trapped in the current of fate and kinda doesn't want to spend the rest of his life answering to some rich ponce and his family...
and Alice... style her after Jane Austen or one of her heroines. She's proper when she feels like it--or rather when the rules make sense to her, she holds her tongue only if she has to, but not if she doesn't. She has lots of opinions on basically everything, even on matters with which she might have very little experience, if any. She's quiet and temperate in demeanor, but witty and incisive in substance. She is very caring, but very guarded. She is loved by her family and friends, but they are all certain she will never marry which is just as well because she doesn't want to. She is also twenty-four and her main passions are painting and studying philosophy and as far as she can tell, marriage would severely hinder her ability to do either of those things.
When Arthur first comes to the manor, he and Alice don't get along. Alice thinks Arthur is very impudent, a bit too rough around the edges and Arthur thinks Alice is a hypocrite for expecting him to be proper when she often doesn't act that way herself and he makes the mistake of telling her so.
It's really just an excuse for me to play with bratty princess/service Top kink dynamics, but like >.> also literally XD
