Cheyenne Roundtree and Nancy Dillon at Rolling Stone:
OFFICIALS RAIDED TWO of Sean Combs‘ homes on Monday, a law enforcement source confirmed to Rolling Stone, as part of a federal sex trafficking investigation. Led by Homeland Security, the raid was carried out just four months after the rap mogul’s ex-girlfriend, singer Cassie, accused Combs of sex trafficking. Helicopters and agents were seen swarming Combs’ Los Angeles mansion on Monday afternoon. Footage of the scene appeared to show some men — later identified as Combs’ sons Justin and King — detained and waiting outside the Holmby Hills house. Officials were also present at Combs’ Miami residence. Combs was in Florida at the time of the raid, according to NBC News, and officials reportedly seized his phones before the Bad Boy Records executive was scheduled to leave for a trip to the Caribbean.
A source tells Rolling Stone four Jane Does and one John Doe already sat for interviews with Southern District of New York investigators for a probe related to alleged sex trafficking, domestic violence and racketeering. More interviews are scheduled, the source said. “Earlier today, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation, with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and our local law enforcement partners. We will provide further information as it becomes available,” a Homeland Security Investigations spokesperson said in a statement. Rolling Stone has contacted Combs for comment.
Douglas Wigdor, who represents Cassie Ventura and a Jane Doe accuser, says in a statement provided to Rolling Stone, “We will always support law enforcement when it seeks to prosecute those that have violated the law. Hopefully, this is the beginning of a process that will hold Mr. Combs responsible for his depraved conduct.” Attorney Tyrone Blackburn, who represents two accusers, music producer Rodney Jones and Liza Gardner, tells Rolling Stone, “It’s about damn time. Sometimes justice delayed is not justice denied, so long as justice ultimately arrives.” Jones sued Combs last month for sexual assault, harassment, and not compensating him for work on the Grammy-nominated The Love Album. Gardner filed suit in November, alleging Combs and singer-songwriter Aaron Hall took turns raping her following an Uptown Records event in 1990.
[...]
R&B singer Cassie filed a bombshell complaint against Combs on Nov. 16 alleging he subjected her to vicious beatings, sex trafficking, and rape. In her 35-page filing that started with a bright red “trigger warning,” Cassie claimed Combs punched, kicked, and “stomped” on her and forced her to have drug-fueled intercourse with male sex workers during arrangements he dubbed “freak offs.” In a statement, Combs’ lawyer said the lawsuit was a financial shakedown “riddled with baseless and outrageous lies.” (Diddy reached a private settlement with Cassie one day later.) One week later, as New York’s Adult Survivors Act was set to expire, two more women stepped forward on Thanksgiving Day with similarly disturbing claims against Combs. The second accuser alleged Combs drugged and sexually assaulted her when she was a Syracuse University student in 1991. The woman claimed Combs filmed the incident and showed the video to others in an act described as “revenge porn.” Through a rep, Combs denied the allegation. “This last-minute lawsuit is an example of how a well-intentioned law can be turned on its head. (This) 32-year-old story is made up and not credible. Mr. Combs never assaulted her, and she implicates companies that did not exist. This is purely a money grab and nothing more,” the spokesperson said.
The third lawsuit was from Gardner, who said in the suit she was 16 years old at the time of the alleged assault. She further claimed that a day later, Combs turned “irate and began assaulting and choking” her until she almost “passed out” because he was worried she might divulge what happened. “These are fabricated claims falsely alleging misconduct from over 30 years ago and filed at the last minute,” a Combs spokesperson said of Gardner’s lawsuit. “This is nothing but a money grab.” In early December, a fourth accuser alleged Combs’ former Bad Boy president Harve Pierre and a third man gang raped her at Combs’ New York recording studio in 2003 when she was 17 years old. Combs has denied any wrongdoing in each case. Still, he stepped down from the chairmanship of his Revolt TV media company last year as more than a dozen companies fled his e-commerce platform. In January, liquor giant Diageo cut him loose in a private settlement under which Combs will no longer be a joint owner of the tequila brand DeLeón or have any ties to Cîroc vodka.
Two of Sean Combs (aka (P.) Diddy)'s homes, in LA and Miami, got raided by Homeland Security as part of a federal sex trafficking investigation into the rapper.

Good ole boys
Neil Tennant on Dr, Dre's homey, Liza's hubby and disgusting myths about gerbils
Tumblr media
BOYS TO MEN — Chris Lowe, left, and Neil Tennant will drop the flashy theatrics when they perform Saturday night at the Bronco Bowl.
By DANIEL KUSNER  | May 31, 2002
It's a whole new Pet Shop Boys — no wigs, no eyeliner, no lipstick.
"We're not even having video. This time around, it's all about the music," Neil Tennant says in a carefully articulated Northern British accent. "In fact, this will be the first tour where I won't always have to stay in specific places because of all the onstage theatrics."
The Pet Shop Boys' frontman is describing how the gay pop-duo's new organic sound will translate into their live shows.
Now that Tennant and bandmate Chris Lowe are each comfortably in their 40s, they've stepped off the dance floor, picked up acoustic guitars and have struck a refreshing chord in their 18-year career.
Apparently, as champions of the synthesizer era, the Pet Shop Boys were ready for some modifications.
Tumblr media
While crafting material for their new album, "Release," Lowe and Tennant retreated to a remote country house to avoid outside influences on their creative process.
"I put the chord changes for the new songs down on guitar rather than keyboard. And Chris started programming drums. Using real drums rather than electronic beats. It all just started to change," Tennant explains. "Besides, we didn't really want to do dance music. We both thought there's so much dance music nowadays. That it would be more original if we just concentrated on the melody and lyrics, and slower tempos. Writing songs is what we do best. And frankly, dance music these days is not really about songmanship."
By taking this so-called "more mature approach," the Pet Shop Boys are hoping to draw attention to their intelligent compositions and their ironic sense of humor.
In a flash of clever brilliance, they recently penned "The Night I Fell in Love," a gorgeous ballad about a gay boy who falls for a famous rap star backstage at his concert and follows him to a hotel room for a "private performance."
youtube
"MTV played the song for Dr. Dre. And he laughed and said, '[Eminem] is going to fucking kill them!' But he seemed pretty good-humored about it. I don't see why he shouldn't be. The song is really sweet and warm," Tennant says.
"It was just taking the oldest issue of Eminem being homophobic, which I don't think he is, really. Eminem says he plays characters. And he represents the homophobia in America, which I think is a very strong argument. Everything he does is in character. So I thought I would adopt his method. I'm not suggesting Eminem is gay because evidently, he isn't. It was just kind of rating the possibilities of exposing a homophobic rapper for being gay."
Tumblr media
Sly references about the rap world are nothing new for the Pet Shop Boys.
Many suspect the band's name is a humorous take on the nasty urban myth about "gay men and gerbils."
Tennant insists that was never the intention.
"I actually used to get really annoyed with that myth, because people are stupid enough to believe it," he huffs.
"In the early '80s, Chris had two friends who worked in a pet shop in West London. Everyone used to refer to them as "the pet-shop boys." We used to say that they should start a rap group called the Pet Shop Boys because at the time there were all of these rap groups.
Tumblr media
"Like the New York Citi Peech Boys and the Beastie Boys. A lot of rap groups were 'boys.' And we thought it sounded like a weird rap group," he continues.
"The first interview I ever did as one of the Pet Shop Boys was when 'West End Girls' was released. A journalist said, 'So, Neil, what about the name? We all know what it means' She told me about [the gerbil myth], and I was absolutely furious. Anyway, I've learned to live with it.”
youtube
Working on the new album sadly kept the Pet Shop Boys from attending the marriage ceremony of the century.
"We were invited to Liza's wedding. And we even bought wedding presents from Tiffany's in New York. But we had a single coming out two days later in Britain. And we had all this stuff to do. But we saw her the following week because we were booked on the same London TV show. And then we went to see her in The Albert Hall two weeks later, which was great by the way," Tennant says of Minnelli whom the Pet Shop Boys collaborated with in the late '80s.
youtube
And as for Liza's husband, Tennant offers a diplomatic opinion.
"I don't know. My gaydar says that he seems like a manager to me. I didn't really get a gaydar reading from him. But then he always wears dark glasses. So it's hard to tell," he laughs.
youtube
Perhaps humor is the best medicine when it comes to guessing about other people's sexuality.
Last year Tennant poured an enormous amount of time and energy into Wotapalava, which was supposed to be the first all-gay music festival.
Tumblr media
Unfortunately, it was cancelled when an erratic Sinéad O'Connor withdrew at such short notice.
"We put the whole bill together. And then, the day before it was announced, Sinéad O'Connor pulled out for personal reasons because she was getting married. I guess her gay phase didn't last very long," he laughs. "We thought we could go ahead and get another co-headliner. But, in fact, that proved very difficult. The promoter started getting a bit twitchy about it. So we decided to pull it."
Tennant says there's still talk about mounting Wotapalava this fall. But right now his plate is already full.
"It's a possibility. But there's no definite plan," he says. "It was very interesting — the enthusiasm we got from the promoters. You'd sort of think that the rock business is kind of homophobic in a way. But it was the opposite. Because so many people were really keen to do this. At the moment, however, we're really just concentrating on getting this theater tour going."
The Pet Shop Boys perform Saturday, June 1 at 8 p.m. at the Bronco Bowl Theatre, 2600 Fort Worth Ave. Tickets $35-$50.114-943-8088.

Let's discuss Diddy...
Here is a brief rundown on what is going on...
Homeland Security raided both of Diddy's homes in L.A. and Miami. At the Miami home law enforcement pulled up via boat with weapons drawn.
At the L.A. home helicopters were flying above the residence as Diddy's sons Justin and Christian were handcuffed while a search was being conducted.
It is alleged the raids took place due to an ongoing human trafficking Investigation.
A representative for Homeland Security Investigations released the following statement: "Earlier today, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation, with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and our local law enforcement partners. We will provide further information as it becomes available."
This comes after singer Cassie filed a complaint against Combs on Nov. 16 alleging he subjected her to vicious beatings, sex trafficking, and rape. Cassie claimed Combs punched, kicked, and “stomped” on her and forced her to have drug-fueled intercourse with male sex workers during arrangements he dubbed “freak offs.” Diddy settled the lawsuit in one business day.
The second accuser alleged Combs drugged and sexually assaulted her when she was a Syracuse University student in 1991. The woman claimed Combs filmed the incident and showed the video to others in an act described as “revenge porn.”
The third lawsuit alleged Combs and singer Aaron Hall took turns raping a plaintiff and her friend following an Uptown Records event in 1990. The plaintiff, who’s now suing under her real name, Liza Gardner, said in the suit she was 16 years old at the time of the alleged assault.
Diddy has denied all of the allegations against him. TMZ confirmed Diddy's private jet is grounded in the Caribbean Islands.
**Update** TMZ confirmed Diddy was seen at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport while the raids were taking place but he was stopped at customs while waiting for other members of his party. He has not been arrested or detained at this time.
So what do y'all think about all of this???

現代電影導演散論
魯稚子 文星叢刊 164
美國電影一向以 Hollywood 為製片中心,
Hollywood Boulevard Walking Tour - Los Angeles, California (4k Ultra HD 60fps) – With Captions - YouTube
Lil Durk - Broadway Girls feat. Morgan Wallen - (Official Music Video) - YouTube
Elia Kazan - America America - YouTube
Killer's Kiss (1/11) Movie CLIP - Chance Encounter (1955) HD - YouTube
「 Private Property 」題材新鮮,導法奇妙,給後繼者起了很大的
鼓舞作用。
P R I V A T E P R O P E R T Y - YouTube
直到  John Cassavetes 導演了「Shadow」一片低成本的實驗電影,
才算有了穩定的表現。這部以黑人青年的眼光,看到夜世界白人的
生活,為那些有志而無錢的人們,舒吐了一口氣。
Shadows (1959) ORIGINAL TRAILER [HD 1080p] - YouTube
David and Liza 應該是這支底流中的最佳結晶。特別值得矚目的是
這群青年,沒錢、沒經驗,只憑著赤誠的心與熱情的幹勁,就開始了
他們的藝術創作。

A couple of months ago, videos from Russian prisons started appearing online showing a beefy-looking, bald man addressing large crowds of inmates, trying to recruit them as mercenaries to go fight (and quite possibly die, he admitted) in Ukraine. “Do you have anybody who can pull you out of the slammer when you’ve still got 10 years on your sentence? There are two who can get you out: Allah and God, and it will be in a wooden box. I’ll take you alive, though I won’t always return you that way.” He then gives the prisoners five minutes to decide if they’ll join his private military company.
The man speaking here is Evgeny Prigozhin, an ex-con himself and now a jack of all trades when it comes to the dark side of the Russian elite. He’s known as Vladimir Putin’s favorite chef, a restauranteur from St. Petersburg who caters for the president and supplies food to the military and many public schools. He operates so-called “troll farms” and an empire of fake news outlets that he now openly admits were created to meddle in politics, particularly in the United States. Since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine (not just this February but all the way back to the start in 2014), Prigozhin’s most important dirty work for the Kremlin has been through his mercenary group Wagner.
For a better understanding of Evgeny Prigozhin’s current significance as a public figure in Russia, The Naked Pravda spoke to five journalists and experts.

hii, can you make a part 2 for the vinnie pop up shop where she gives her number to liza?? i love it so much
Hello! Part 1 link :’)
You gave Liza your number and though she was confused at first, she caught on when Vinnie gave her a knowing look. “He uh…he asked for it so…” you laughed. “Thank you!” You cheered.
“You’re like the first person he ever did this to, what did you do?” She chuckled, curiosity bringing the best of her.
“I just kissed him on the cheek and gave him a book, that’s all,” you spoke low, only realizing that must’ve been quite peculiar. Usually, fans would give out jewelry or their art but instead you gave a book. That alone should make him remember you. Not that giving art is a bad thing! It’s just not common to give a book, more so a personally annotated one.
“Oh! Well you did leave a great first impression,” Liza said and that was your cue to leave. You kindly waved and smiled at the few people you met and Vinnie was just looking at you, giving you that knowing look again, hoping that he sees you soon.
A few days after, Vinnie finally messaged you asking to hang out. You told him that you value your privacy and would love to keep this date private or secluded, you know, to protect the both of you. Vinnie got the idea to take you to Griffith Observatory because not many people go there and if there are some, they wouldn’t bother you both since they’re on dates of their own.
He finally picked you up with his shiny and bright RX7 and you couldn’t believe that this is all real right now. I mean, how many fans can say that they’ve been in his iconic car? “Hey, Vinnie. So where are you taking me?” You gave him a fake skeptical look as if you’re claiming that he’s kidnapping you. He just flashed his pearly white teeth and chuckled.
“Hey, Y/n. Somewhere I like to go to alone…” he trailed off.
“Oh. Then why are you taking me there?” You asked, curious but he just continued driving.
“What? I can’t take a pretty special girl to my pretty special place?” You felt lucky that out of all the places he could bring you, he drove to where he goes when he just wants to be alone. A place that he’s never mentioned to anyone before other than his best friend, Jett.
You started to recognize the uphill path and realized he’s taking you to the observatory. “You’re taking me to Griffith?” You exclaimed, pure joy rushing through you.
“Yeah, you ever been?”
“Nah but I’ve always wanted to though. Who knew this is where you go to.” You confessed. You’ve always seen vlogs and random video clips of the place but never really had the urge to go. You wondered what makes the place so special for Vinnie and as if reading your mind…
“I like it, it’s quiet and the view is phenomenal. You’re the first one I’m taking there, Y/n,” he looked at you and you just swatted his arm and looked out. Your heart warmed at the thought of him sharing this place with you and you sharing your first time there with him. “I just go there to think and regroup myself. Sometimes I get carried away and start to think how I can conquer LA,” he joked, referencing to Naruto. You giggled at his remark and finally you arrived at the observatory.
It was the perfect time because pink and lilac hues painted the sky pretty. The cold air quickly brushed through your body but Vinnie’s hand on your back warmed you right back up. “Let’s go over there…” he pointed to a quaint place by the corner.
You both marveled at the view below when you uttered: “This is so beautiful.”
“Mhmm…” Vinnie hummed in agreement while looking at you instead of the view. The sky perfectly complimenting your face as the light bounced off your eyes. He wanted nothing more than to just grab your face and kiss you but he fought the urge off as he just adoringly stared at the beauty beside him. He knew there would be lots of this in the future so he convinced himself to wait for the perfect time.
Author’s Note: Absolutely don’t know how to go about this so sorry if it sucks! + a part was deleted because I forgot to save so. This is cheesy as hell for what

Error 404 Bill not found.
I had already said it in a previous post but I must repeat it and elaborate: Oona did not ask to be born in the family that she was born into. But her identity and privacy ARE A RIGHT that only she should control and that she will be able to control, precisely, when she be old enough to weigh the good and the bad of a public life just as her mother AND FATHER (son of a Hollywood actor) did in their youth / adulthood.
" but don't our parents have photos of us in the middle of changing diapers or taking a bath? " YES but the difference is that such photos are in a family album
"But her IG is private" Liza morberg has complete strangers as followers, such as Bill and Alida's fan pages... I DON'T WANT TO IMAGINE WHAT Oona WILL FEEL when she grows up and sees that the family that was supposed to protect her exposed her body, something that is only hers and no one else's, without any kind of care.
While the criticism to the Morberg sisters are correct, we must not forget that little Oona was not conceived by Alida alone, she has a father. And the question that many of us in this fandom ask is : where is he?
This is not just an "accidental" video taken by a friend or some photos where the girl's voice or limb was "unintentionally" leaked... These were nude photos of a girl who just wanted to enjoy a happy moment with his mother and aunts at a waterfall.
I know that Bill has the strength to stop this, he showed it that time Alida casually lost (closed) her ig account in August, days before his birthday... Most likely he stood his ground and demanded her to stop exposing and his family to public ridicule. But sadly that didn't last
I trust that this time he will not remain silent, that he will not continue to be part of the Morberg game that only seeks quick fame. I still have some faith in this man who claims to be humble, centered and familiar... Because this time it is no longer about him and if Alida uses him to attract attention, no. Now it's about your daughter, Bill, a girl who deserves RESPECT AND PRIVACY.
Being away working it's not an excuse , he has family in Sweden he is not alone in this he just need to be strong and do something!
A few days ago we were talking about #freebill, well if this man doesn't stop this circus if he doesn't show that he's as fed up with this as all of us who watch this pathetic show are, I'll change the hashtag to #fuckyoubill. Because in my opinion who don't protect a child doesn't deserve NOTHING.
Don't let us down, Bill.

"And I saw, behold it was a white horse... and hell followed with him." Deputy Sabine Brody
bio below the cut, tw for mentions of torture and drug-use
Sabine is the younger sibling of Jason and Grant Brody, and the older sibling of Riley Brody. She was sweet, shy, and soft-spoken as a child, usually preferring to spend her time alone with her video games or nose buried in a book. Jason and herself were inseparable when younger, comments often made about how you never saw one without the other. This bond, unfortunately, waned as they got older and their interests pulled them in separate directions, Sabine never related to Jason on his desire for adventure and risk-taking.
Sabine pursued a business career, hopping between desk jobs and always having a tendency to fall so deeply into her work she rarely had time for personal relationships. Because of his worry for her, Grant ended up insisting she come with them on their celebrator vacation. Initially, she declines until persistent badgering from Grant makes her reconsider.
After being captured on the island, she tried to make the initial escape with Jason and Grant. They made it far from the camp but after Grant was shot, Sabine fell into hysterics and panic. She was caught by Vaas and held captive by him for days. In this period of time, she was tortured by the pirate lord himself, every interaction the two had was filmed. Sabine was able to escape, killing the pirates keeping her in the room before Jason arrived to save her. In a moment of panic, she attacks him before he snapped her out of her hysteria.
After escaping, Sabine became hellbent on revenge, joining in the fighting. She turned out to be an excellent soldier, slaughtering her way through endless outposts and pirates all with the goal of hunting down Vaas. When she finally does come face to face with him, a fight ensues that ends with her successfully killing him, only for her to realize it didn’t lessen the pain of losing Grant or what he’d done to her. She switched gears, trying to dedicate herself to saving their friends and getting off of the islands. Due to her revenge quest, she was completely blind to how Citra had been manipulating Jason, only seeing what’s wrong with the situation when it was too late.
She was captured with the others by the Rakyat, Citra intending to have them all sacrificed. While Jason prepared to cut Liza's throat, Sabine managed to escape her restraits, pleading with Jason to stop but unsuccessfully. A fight ensued between them, Sabine’s goal ultimately being to disarm Jason but she accidentally killed him by impaling him with the knife. The Rakyat turn on them, another struggle occurring before Sabine freed her friends and was able to flee the temple.
Sabine underwent intensive therapy after Rook Island. She blames herself everyday for what happened to Jason, personally feeling Riley hates her and alienating herself from her family and friends. She was prescribed opiods to deal with pain from a severe shoulder injury sustained on the island but ended up becoming addicted. Her substance abuse continued until she overdosed, being found by Riley and admitted herself to rehab on his request
Sabine gets a call one night that her brother, Riley’s plane has gone down and they can’t locate him. The implications initially are that her brother is dead but she later receives a voicemail from Riley saying he survived the crash. She worked out details by talking to people who knew where he was going and determined he was in Kyrat, working with old contacts from Rook Island to secure herself a private flight into the mountains. The initial plan is to be dropped off near the border and enter the country on foot to avoid detection but the plane was shot down and she was taken hostage by Yuma.
She was able to escape after enduring the hallucinogens that Yuma drugged her with. Tracking through the mountains of Durgesh, she finds her brother’s plane and then later Riley himself, whose been hiding out in one of the nearby caves. They were ambushed by The Royal Army before the Golden Path arrives, taking them captive initially as they’re unsure if they can be trusted. After determining the siblings aren’t a threat, they’re allowed to leave, though Sabine was convinced to fight as it was the only way she’d be able to secure safe passage out of Kyrat. During her time fighting for the Golden Path against Pagan, she began a romantic relationship with Amita. During this relationship, she's manipulated by her into killing Sabal.
When Pagan is removed from power ( due to being killed by Sabine ), Amita reveals her true colors and Sabine immediately ends things with her. She's allowed to leave the country with Riley, immense guilt weighing on her due to knowing she likely left Kyrat in a much worse state than it was initially in.
After the death of her mother due to illness, Sabine decides to move to Hope County, Montana, hearing all the stories about what a quiet and safe place it was. She's welcomed to the community by Earl Whitehorse and after bonding with him and other citizens of Hope County, he tells her she should think about training to become a policer officer. After enough thinking, she decides her learned skills from Rook Islands and Kyrat would be best put to use there. She's taken with Earl and the others on the night the Marshall decides to move forward with arresting the Project members and quickly is thrown back into a war she didn't ask to be part of. In the midst of trying to help clear the Seeds out of Hope County, she falls deeply in love with Faith, though due to being unable to convince her to leave the cult, she's forced to fight and kill her.
As The Collapse begins, Sabine takes shelter in the Rye’s bunker. When emerging, she decides to head her own way, encountering Thomas Rush after travelling across the country side. There’s an immediate bond formed between the two as they relate over their combat experiences. Sabine becomes Thomas’s captain of security and years later, Carmina Rye, her god-daughter, gets in touch with her to ask for her help. She brings it up to Thomas and they head back to Hope County only to be stopped by the Highwaymen.
After being reunited with the Ryes and other residents of Hope County, Sabine begins a mission to liberate Prosperity from the Highwaymen’s iron grip.

We could've benefited if we had like 2 more missions with Hoyt i feel, 1 before we know Riley's alive and another after that causes Jason to know how Hoyt personally works and let the player see just how much Jason fit in the privateers and how far gone he was. + the tension of keeping the secret of who you are is gonna hit harder when you show up for the poker game thinking it's just another mission and then it turns out hoyt knew all along.
9. Of Jason's friends, who is your favorite and why? Who is your least favorite?
favorite would probably be Oliver. first off Jason calls him Ollie which is aww, and also out of everyone, Oliver's the first one whose face visibly fell when Jason said he was going to stay. He then said he was gonna stay WITH Jason on Rook, before Jason tells him to just go home cus he trusted Oliver to tell his mom. Not his girlfriend (or ex at that point), or Daisy who also should know his mom, but Oliver. least favorite is probably Liza. her boyfriend just said he was gonna stay on a saw-trap of an island after going through something traumatic and she cried cus he's finally being a man and was instead breaking up with her. like, yea, ok?? sis, your priorities?????
11. If given the option, would you still have taken out Vaas, or picked another alternative?
Depends on the alternative, I guess. just because vaas was also manipulated by Citra then Hoyt, that doesn't exactly mean he's a good guy either. i personally don't see any way the plot can justify jason could continue on to hoyt's island if he didn't kill vaas because it was so ingrained into him that he needed to kill vaas to avenge grant. same way he wanted to continue and kill hoyt because he thought riley was dead.
Far Cry 4 Ask
6. How do you pronounce Ajay's name? outloud it's a mess of various pronounciations, but internally i read it as Ah-Jai which is not how anyone in game would say it lmao.
9. What was your favorite thing about this game? Least favorite?
favorite thing is the side missions and ajay personality crumbs we got from it. also i appreciate the new direction to put in letters + memos for world building!!
least favorite is probably the racing videos?? i never like racing in games. also didn't like how i had to grind in shanath.

Can you please write one where David and yn was together in highschool and together for a while and the only reason they broke up was because he was going to la. And a few years later she decides to visit Natalie and him and they kinda reconnect and catch feeling BUT he’s still with liza. I hope that makes sense lol. I know it sounds dumb so you don’t have to write it. Thank you ❤️
It doesn’t sound dumb! It’s actually a really good idea! I hope to make it justice.
Enjoy.
---
ONE OF THOSE GIRLS
It had started because of Y/N Y/L/N appearance in fashion week. Natalie had loved her IGTV video that she had posted, showing all the different looks that she had worn. Natalie immediately privately direct messaged her. They quickly caught up with time and it was as if they were still in high school. Natalie tried to convince Y/N for a few months to visit L.A, so they could hang and Natalie could get some advice on her wardrobe choices. After a few months, Y/N accepted and bought the tickets.
“Why am I even here?” David asked Natalie as they sat on his Tesla at the airport waiting for Y/N’s flight to arrive. Natalie had just woke him up from a nice nap since he had stayed up all night trying to edit.
“Y/N is coming, doofus! Are you a little bit happy about it?” He had to admit he was. Natalie wasn’t the only one scrolling all the way down to her first pictures and stalking the heck out of her. David had done it a few times. He wanted to see whom she had become after all this time.
“No, not really. I got a girlfriend, remember?” He sniffed as he leaned back on his seat. David was still dating Liza Koshy and they are doing well. He could never mess up everything he had built with Liza for Y/N. Sure, it had been lovely when they were together, but he was in a different stage in his life. She was also and maybe she wasn’t the same girl that he had initially fallen in love with.
“I meant as friends” To be honest David hadn’t expected Y/N to show up dressed in sweatpants and a hoodie. He had expected her to show up in heels and in some very expensive outfit, designed by someone who they could barely pronounce.
Both girls smiled and giggled while they hugged the heck out of each other. They were too excited to notice David getting out of the car. He didn’t know what overcame him, but as soon as he saw her he felt like he needed to get out and hug her.
“Hi” David smiled, Y/N smiled back and pulled him into a tight hug.
“Look at you” she joked as they pulled away and looked at each other eyes. David had changed a lot and was more successful and famous than ever, but his eyes remained the same. It was the same pair of eyes that she had fallen in love with in high school.
They all loaded the car and David started the drive back to the house. Y/N was staying in a hotel, but it was still early and Natalie had asked her to join her for a hike. They were going to change in Natalie’s room and then head out.
“How was fashion week? How did you even get invited!” Natalie asked as she looked back at Y/N by the rearview mirror.
“YSL invited me actually. They took care of the whole thing. It was pretty nice. You should come with me next time” David snorted causing both girls to snap their heads.
“Natalie?” He laughed, “She wears leggings and sweatpants every day!” Natalie playfully slapped his arm and shook her head. “Plus, she works for me and she can’t be missing work just to see a bunch of people walking around”
“In Paris” Natalie added, “Where there is so much good food!”
“Okay,” David chuckled, “That actually sounds nice” Y/N laughed while she checked her social media and her email inbox for any new emails. “You should take me instead. I am better company”
“Oh trust me I know,” Y/N said casually, barely paying attention to the conversation. It wasn’t until she finished the sentence she was typing that she realized what she said. The atmosphere had changed and she could sense that David was now tense and didn’t know what to say.
“Natalie any cute boys around?” Y/N asked trying to divert the conversation. Natalie just laughed and shook her head. “What about that Jeff guy? He looked pretty yummy”
“You like Jeff?!” Natalie exclaimed, “I have to set you up now! I should’ve seen it coming!”
“What do you mean?” Y/N frowned as she finally blocked her phone.
“Everyone who is a social influencer likes him!”
“Hey! He is cute! I don’t even know him. He could be a total ass!” Y/N defended herself. David just wanted to arrive home and drop both of them off. He had no intention of hearing his ex-girlfriend talk about how attractive one of his closest friends was.
“I am sure you guys will get along. Beautiful babies” Y/N laughed then turned her attention to the right out of bed looking, David. “How is Liza?” She asked him trying to bond over something.
“She is fine. She is working all day today, but she promised to visit tonight” David said not wanting to sound too cocky about the fact that he had a loving, long-lasting relationship and she didn’t.
“Great!” Y/N didn’t have anything against Liza. She seemed like a strong, hard-working woman. She was perfect for David, yet that didn’t mean that it didn’t hurt her to see him with her. It could’ve been them.
“How long are you staying?” David asked as he observed her from the rearview mirror occasionally.
“Just a week. I got to go back to Chicago eventually” She now lived in the city. In the middle of everything, she still kept in touch with Ilya and Dima. They would usually hang out together.
“How is that?” David asked, “I remember it was your dream to own an apartment near Riverwalk”
“That is what I am working on, right now. I am planning on moving in a few weeks.” It was a beautiful townhome that she had always dream of having and she had finally found the one. She had signed the papers. She was just waiting for a few things to deliver before moving in.
“Oh wow. Congratulations. I guess all your dreams came true” He truly felt proud. He knew that she had worked hard for everything that she had acquired. She wasn’t just a social media influencer, but she was also an incredible businesswoman.
“So did yours” They had broken up because of his dream. He wanted to be someone. He wanted to be recognized and he wanted to be someone big! He had surely acquired everything that he had desired.
“Not all,” he said as he looked at her through the rearview mirror. She didn’t know what to say after that comment so she remained quiet. She never would’ve guessed that David still thought about her, let alone missed her, but he did. He would check up on her with Ilya and Dima. He knew it was wrong since he had a girlfriend, but he couldn’t hold himself back from doing so.
A few minutes later, David pulled up to the house. He was the first one out of the car. He wanted to bang his head against a wall for what he had previously said to her. He just wished that Y/N doesn't misinterpret his words. He was happy with Liza and he couldn’t mess it up, so he decided to keep himself away from her. He locks himself in his bedroom.
It isn’t until later in the day when he hears a bunch of laughs and voices coming from the kitchen that he decides to leave his bedroom.
“You are kidding, right? You don’t look like one of those girls!” Jeff laughed as he leaned against the counter of the kitchen.
“Now I don’t, but I was one of those girls” She giggled along.
“Hey man,” Jeff called out as he noticed his friend, standing by the bedroom door. “I thought you were sleeping”
“I just woke up” He answered as he noticed Jason, Scotty, and Todd in the room. They all had different drinks and snacks with them. They had all gone out and had just come back from working out. “How was it?” David asked as he pulled a chair beside Jason.
“This kid can run fast” Jeff pointed to Y/N, who was wearing a matching baby blue set that matched Natalie’s yellow one.
“You are just too slow” Y/N joked back causing Jeff to gasp.
“Y/N was on the track team. You are setting yourself for failure”  David yawned as he reached over and took Natalie’s drink.
“Oh! You cheater!” Scott exclaimed, “That’s why I felt like I was going throw up”
“Me too” Jason added as he continued to eat his bagel from Starbucks.
“What the hell is that?” David had taken a sip out of Natalie’s drink. “It’s disgusting. Is that the same as yours?” He pointed at Y/N.
“No mine has strawberries and bananas. Hers is only greens and kale” David reached out for hers. She carefully handed it. It reminded her of when they were younger and David used to steal her milkshakes from Shake Shack.
“Oh, this is so much better” David comments before continuing to drink her juice.
“Shopping?” Y/N asked Natalie as the boys joked around and David pulled his camera out after finishing Y/N juice.
“Hell yeah. Let’s take a shower and change” Y/N nodded and followed behind.
“A shower? Together? Can I join?” Todd joked, both of the girls giggle and walk away to get ready. “Shut the camera off” He throws a pillow at David, knocking it out of his hands as they sit on the couch.
“What the fuck?” David asked as he picked the camera back up.
“How did you walked away from that?” Todd finally asked, David quickly turned the camera off and placed it beside him.
“I didn’t walk away from her. She just stayed in Chicago” David shrugged as he remembers that day. He had hoped for her to join him, but she declined. She was already enrolled in college and her parents were very strict. Y/N had always wanted to be the perfect daughter for them. She always tried her best to excel in whatever she was doing just so they could both be proud of her.
“She is so hot man” Jeff commented, bring him back from his deep thoughts. David just nodded along. He recognized it. She was just as beautiful and even more.
“Enough. David has Liza” Jason stepped in as soon as he saw how confused David looked by the whole situation. “Unless you are second-guessing yourself”
“No no never,” David said, “That would be reckless. Liza is all I have ever wanted” Everyone nodded along, but they could see that he was saying that to himself. He was trying to convince himself.
Later that day, everyone gathered at David’s. Everyone wanted to meet Y/N. They also wanted to hear Y/N’s anecdotes and stories of how Natalie and David were when they were younger. Liza also appeared and David decided to spend some time with her. Alone and away from everyone else before he introduced her to Y/N.
He decided to keep quiet about Y/N. He also kept his distance most of the week. It was until Sunday night when they had gathered to wish Y/N a farewell that he finally decided to talk to her. He caught her outside, looking out into the Los Angeles lights.
“I see what you found so appealing about LA” She whispered as he came up to her. “It’s beautiful”
“Yeah, it is. It’s a nice life” He added as he looked out towards the city. “Do you regret us?” David finally asks, “I mean like us dating and then breaking up?” She sighed and kept looking out. She didn’t dare to look at him straight into his eyes.
“I don’t regret dating you. I had so much fun and I left so loved by you. I do regret breaking up. I wish we could’ve at least tried” She shugged as she suddenly felt the urge to cry.
“Yeah. Me too” He whispered back, “I am glad you came over”
“Me too. I loved seeing how truly happy you are” She smiles, “As long as you continue to be this happy. I guess I’ll be okay”
“I am sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable with Liza or anything. It really wasn’t my intention” Y/N laughed and shook her head at her ex.
“You didn’t David. Out of all people you deserve to be happy”  She said as tears streamed down her face. She cried silently and he was oblivious to it. Of course, she felt like she was going to be sick whenever she walked into a room and found them both cuddling and kissing.
She still kept a little bit of hope that destiny would bring them together once again. She hoped that she would end up in his arms again and he would look at her again with the same adoration that he used to when they were younger, but for now he was hers. She loved him too much to ever want to disintegrate his happiness just for her selfish thoughts and desires.
She loved him too much.

MY TAKE ON THE SPECULATIONS ABOUT “THE GIRL” FROM JOSHUA BASSETT’S NEW MUSIC VIDEO
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So ever since Joshua’s music video for Anyone Else came out, people have been speculating on who the mysterious girl with Joshua is. A lot of people are saying that the girl is possibly Sabrina Carpenter, but honestly I’d oppose on that theory.
For one thing, Sabrina is a bit older than Joshua. Although that wouldn’t really matter because they are both above 18 and because the normalized thought of society that men should be older than the woman they are in a relationship with is stupid and should be removed, Sabrina is TAKEN. She is dating her former Tall Girl co-star Griffin Gluck, and everyone seems to forget about that. To add, as far as I know, they aren’t broken up. Their relationship is very private too, so that could tell us why they don’t post a lot of pics together.
Secondly, Joshua himself told us all that “it’s just a music video”. I’m not sure if it was mentioned that the MV was shot during quarantine, so for all we know he might’ve hired an actress pre-quarantine to fill in the role. However, if the actress is Sabrina, so what? As mentioned, she is taken and she is friends with Joshua. She’s an actress and not everyone who plays opposite the singer in a singer’s MVs are their actual lovers. For example, Anthony Ramos filmed a music video for “Relationship” with Liza Koshy; the song is about his current love life with his fiancé Jasmine Cephas-Jones, but that does not automatically mean that he’ll have Jasmine in his music video with him.
Tumblr media
Finally, if we were to ask a question, I think the question we have to ask is not “Who’s the girl in the music video?”, rather we have to ask “Who is the song about?”. The most triggered group of people about the girl are Jolivia shippers, but remember, a music video is just a music video. It’s visual aid. While I am aware that some singers/artists put in actual parts of their lives in music videos (Ed Sheeran for example in his Photograph MV), we can’t be too quick to judge. The song is beautiful, and sometimes we forget the essence of it because we start jumping to conclusions and making up theories.
Context is important. Not only in terms of this rumor/theory, but to EVERYTHING on the internet and the world. If Joshua is dating someone who is not Olivia, it’s his life! I too, am a Jolivia shipper, and while I take the context of the song having a possibility of it being about Olivia, I aim to be a respectful shipper. We sometimes forget that celebrities are human beings who have their own lives too, so let’s be respectful to them the same way we should be respectful to everyone in the world. Take context into consideration, be rational, and don’t immediately jump into conclusions. The world is crazy right now and we have graver things to handle. AND FOR HEAVEN’S SAKE LET’S JUST FOCUS ON THE SONG!!!
That’s all, have a good day.

vernon hills - d.d.
requested: yes, this was a combination of two similar requests! 1. Can I request something? what if Liza cheated on David because he “wasn’t hot enough” and he fell into severe depression. You, as a friend, help him through his rough time and once he’s better, takes you home to vernon hills with him to his family. his parents thank you and point out the obvious crush he has on you. his family love you way more than Liza after what she did. (no hate to her tho this is ~imaginary~) and 2. Where you go to vernon hills to meet David’s family and they love you more than Liza (oops)
word count: 1150
masterlist
You shifted in the passenger seat of the car, turning to face David. “What if they don’t like me?” you finally asked. The question had been eating you alive since David first asked you to come to Vernon Hills with him to meet his family.
“Babe, relax. They’re going to love you,” David reassured you, grabbing the hand that was locked in his and bringing it up to his lips. “You have nothing to worry about.”
“I mean, your siblings loved Liza. What if I don’t compare to her?”
“Don’t think like that,” David sighed. He hated when you compared yourself to Liza. You were quite honestly the opposite of her and that’s what he was first attracted to. “You don’t have to be Liza. I don’t want you to be.”
David slowed the rental car down as he turned on to his street. Your stomach exploded with butterflies as the car got closer to his house.
“I don’t think I can do this,” you mumbled, squeezing David’s hand.
“Babe, it’ll be fine. I promise.” David pulled into the driveway. He put the car in park and turned to face you. “I talk about you anytime I call my mom. She already loves you just from hearing stories or seeing you in my videos. My sisters have told me that they’re so excited to meet you and be able to have someone to give them advice. Apparently, I’m unqualified to give teenagers advice about boys even though I was once a teenage boy, so I know how they think.”
You let out a small giggle at his comment, but it eased your mind.
He unbuckled his seat belt and pushed the car door open, and you followed. You grabbed the bouquet of flowers you had stopped to pick up from the backseat and held David’s hand with your free hand. You walked up the steps and the door swung open before you could even knock.
You dropped David’s hand as his mom greeted him and pulled him into a tight hug, greeting him in a language you didn’t understand. She then gave you a hug, making a comment about how she feels like she already knows you because you’re all David talks about these days. She ushered both of you inside and called for David’s siblings to come say hi. You handed her the flowers, which she placed in a vase as the dining room table centerpiece. His two sisters came running down the stairs to meet you, his younger brother not too far behind.
Since your flight had been delayed, you had arrived well after dinner time, which had ruined David’s initial plan. Instead, you were sitting in the living room just talking with his family. Things were going great. You didn’t feel uncomfortable or judged, and you didn’t feel like they were comparing you to Liza. You snuggled in next to David on the couch, ready to watch a movie with his siblings. His parents had gone to bed a while ago, but his younger brother begged to stay up and watch with you. Toby had fallen asleep ten minutes into the movie and David paused the movie to carry Toby to his bed. While David was gone, you turned to his sisters and asked about the latest gossip, remembering that David said they were excited to get advice from you.
When David came back, you were so deep in conversation that it took him clearing his throat three times to get your attention. You rolled your eyes and his sisters giggled before breaking up the circle you were sitting in and getting back to the movie.
The credits rolled around and you sleepily stumbled upstairs to David’s room. You tossed and turned in David’s childhood bed, not able to fall asleep. David mumbled incoherently while half asleep, but you thought you heard him say something about how today couldn’t have gone any better, and to your surprise, you agreed. You couldn’t believe that you ever thought his family wouldn’t like you.
You were still on LA time, so you weren’t surprised when you slept in until noon. You rolled out of bed and headed downstairs to find David but stopped short when you heard voices in the kitchen.
“Mom, be honest,” David said quietly.
“Honey, I already told you. I think she’s perfect for you,” his mom said, reassuringly. “She truly balances you out. She was there for you during your breakup with Liza. She reached out as a friend when she heard and has been there for you ever since. I would be crazy to not think you two were meant to be.”
You remember the night you found out David and Liza broke up. It was a month before they posted their breakup video. You called David, even though you two weren’t particularly close at the time. For months, he was depressed and constantly crying over Liza. But as he began spending more and more time with you, he moved on. He always tells you that you brought happiness back into his life, that you made him feel whole again, but he did that himself. He let you into his life and somehow, someway, you two had fallen in love along the way.
“Do you mean that? That we’re perfect for each other?” David asked.
“Of course, I do, Dave.”
A few nights later, when you were cuddling in bed with David. It was your last night here and you had to catch a flight to Miami for Jason’s standup show tomorrow morning. You thought about bringing up the conversation you overheard, but it was a private moment between David and his mom, and it was his decision to tell you or not.
“I think it’s safe to say my family will miss you,” David chuckled, after Toby came in to say goodbye since he wasn’t going to wake up to drive you into Chicago to go to the airport. “My mom already asked what our plans for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s are. I think she just wants you to stay forever. My dad, too. And I mean, Ester and Sara adore you and they might marry you before I get the chance to.”
“I’m so glad they like me,” you sighed happily.
“I told you that you had nothing to worry about. They think you’re perfect for me,” David smiled, leaning in and kissing you softly. “And just so you know, they definitely didn’t talk about Liza the way they raved about you.”
You knew that compliment shouldn’t have made you feel better about yourself, but it did. Being in a relationship with someone who has a large following means there were always comparisons to his past relationships. And it was a confidence boost to know that his family supported the relationship and they liked you.
“I love you,” you whispered, pecking his lips.
“I love you, too,” David mumbled. “I’m happy you came home with me.”

#Catherine Deneuve Portrait
Cannes 1984
Contax RTS  Carl Zeiss T* Tessar 200mm f/3,5 Agfapan 100
Catherine Fabienne Dorléac (born 22 October 1943), known professionally as Catherine Deneuve , is a French actress as well as an occasional singer, model and producer, considered one of the best European actresses and the greatest French actress of all time.. She gained recognition for her portrayal of icy, aloof and mysterious beauties for various directors, including Luis Buñuel, François Truffaut and Roman Polanski. In 1985, she succeeded Mireille Mathieu as the official face of Marianne, France's national symbol of liberty. A 14-time César Award nominee, she won for her performances in Truffaut's The Last Metro (1980), for which she also won the David di Donatello for Best Foreign Actress, and Régis Wargnier's Indochine (1992).
Deneuve made her film debut in 1957 and first came to prominence in Jacques Demy's 1964 musical The Umbrellas of Cherbourg. She went on to star in such films as Repulsion (1965), Donkey Skin (1970), Belle de Jour (1967), Tristana (1970) and The Young Girls of Rochefort (1967) opposite her sister, the actress Françoise Dorléac. She was nominated for the BAFTA Award for Best Actress for Belle de Jour, and the Academy Award for Best Actress for Indochine. She also won the 1998 Volpi Cup for Best Actress at the Venice Film Festival for Place Vendôme. Other notable English-language films include The April Fools (1969), Hustle (1975), The Hunger (1983) and Dancer in the Dark (2000).
Deneuve was born Catherine Fabienne Dorléac in Paris, the daughter of French stage actors Maurice Dorléac (1901–1979) and Renée Simonot (b. 1911). Deneuve has two sisters, Françoise Dorléac (1942–1967) and Sylvie Dorléac (born 14 December 1946), as well as a maternal half-sister, Danielle, whom their mother had out of wedlock in 1937 with Aimé Clariond, but who was later adopted by Maurice and took his surname. Deneuve was her mother's maiden name, which she chose for her stage name, in order to differentiate herself from her sisters. Deneuve attended Catholic schools .
Deneuve made her film debut with a small role in André Hunebelle's Les Collégiennes (1957) with her younger sister Sylvie Dorléac who, like their older half-sister Danielle, was an occasional child actress. She subsequently appeared in several films for director Roger Vadim as well as in L'Homme à femmes (1960), which caught the eye of Jacques Demy, who cast Deneuve in his 1964 musical Les Parapluies de Cherbourg, the film that brought her to stardom. Deneuve played the cold but erotic persona, for which she would be nicknamed the "ice maiden", in Roman Polanski's horror classic Repulsion (1965), reinforcing it in Luis Buñuel's Belle de Jour (1967), and reaching a peak in Tristana (1970).Her work for Buñuel would be her most famous .
Further prominent films from this early time in her career included Jean-Paul Rappeneau's A Matter of Resistance (1966), Demy's musical Les Demoiselles de Rochefort (1967) and François Truffaut's romantic thriller Mississippi Mermaid (1969). Deneuve remained active in European films during the 1960s and 1970s, though she limited her appearances in American films of the period to The April Fools (1969), a romantic comedy with Jack Lemmon, and Hustle (1975), a crime drama with Burt Reynolds. Her starring roles at the time were featured in such films as A Slightly Pregnant Man (1973) with Marcello Mastroianni and Le Sauvage (1975) with Yves Montand.
In the 1980s, Deneuve's films included François Truffaut's Le Dernier métro (1980), for which she won the César Award for Best Actress, and Tony Scott's The Hunger (1983) as a bisexual vampire, co-starring with David Bowie and Susan Sarandon, a role which brought her a significant lesbian and cult following, mostly among the gothic subculture. She made her debut film as a producer in 1988, Drôle d'endroit pour une rencontre, alongside frequent co-star Gerard Depardieu.
In the early 1990s, Deneuve's more significant roles included 1992's Indochine opposite Vincent Perez, for which she was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress and won a second César Award for Best Actress; and André Téchiné's two movies, Ma saison préférée (1993) and Les Voleurs (1996). In 1997, Deneuve was the protagonist in the music video for the song N'Oubliez Jamais sung by Joe Cocker. In 1998 she won acclaim and the Volpi Cup at the Venice Film Festival for her performance in Place Vendôme. In the late 1990s, Deneuve continued to appear in a large number of films such as 1999's five films Est-Ouest, Le temps retrouvé, Pola X, Belle maman, and Le Vent de la nuit.
In 2000, Deneuve's part in Lars von Trier's musical drama Dancer in the Dark alongside Icelandic singer Björk was subject to considerable critical scrutiny. The film was selected for the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival. She made another foray into Hollywood the following year, starring in The Musketeer (2001) for Peter Hyams. In 2002, she shared the Silver Bear Award for Best Ensemble Cast at the Berlin International Film Festival for her performance in 8 Women. In 2005, Deneuve published her diary A l'ombre de moi-meme ("In My Own Shadow", published in English as Close Up and Personal: The Private Diaries of Catherine Deneuve); in it she writes about her experiences shooting the films Indochine and Dancer in the Dark. She also provided the voice role of Marjane Satrapi's mother in Satrapi's animated autobiographical film Persepolis (2007), based on the graphic novel of the same name. In 2008, she appeared in her 100th film, Un conte de Noël.
Deneuve's recent work includes Potiche (2010) with frequent co-star Depardieu, Beloved (2011), alongside former co-stars Ludivine Sagnier and Chiara Mastroianni, the popular French adventure comedy Asterix and Obelix: God Save Britannia (2012) with Gerard Depardieu and Valérie Lemercier, screenwriter and director Emmanuelle Bercot's On My Way (2013), Palme D'or winning writer/director Pierre Salvadori's comedy drama In the Courtyard (2014), and André Téchiné's drama In the Name of My Daughter (2014). In 2017, she co-starred alongside Catherine Frot, in writer/director Martin Provost's French drama The Midwife, which has been acquired by Music Box Films for a summer 2017 distribution in the United States.
Deneuve appeared nude in two Playboy pictorials in 1963 and 1965. Her image was used to represent Marianne, the national symbol of France, from 1985 to 1989.[citation needed] As the face of Chanel No. 5 in the late 1970s, she caused sales of the perfume to soar in the United States – so much so that the American press, captivated by her charm, nominated her as the world's most elegant woman. In 1983, American Home Products retained her to represent their cosmetics line and hired world-renowned photographer Richard Avedon to promote its line of Youth Garde cosmetics, for which she famously proclaimed, "Look closely. Sister || D.D. Imagine
Request: Could you write a little something about what it would be like to be David’s younger sister? Maybe around 16/17 years old. Like would she also be famous by association or would she do social media too? How does he act with/around her? How do people at her school treat her? Does she look exactly like him or more like her other siblings (ie: light hair)? Does she speak Slovak openly or is she shy like David? Is she shy or very fiery? Just those types of things🙃💛THANK YOU!
I used google for the slovak so if it’s bad grammar please don’t come for me.
Requests always open :)
"Okay you ready?" David asked as he finally finished setting the camera and lighting up how he wanted it.
"I was born ready." I said back checking myself out in the viewfinder to make sure I looked okay in camera, I was a little nervous but if David could do this for a living I could make a single video. David nodded and turned the camera on and took a seat next to me.
"Hey what's up guys welcome back to my second channel, today we are going to be doing something a little different something everyone has been asking for, we are finally going to meet my sister Y/N" He said looking over at me, prompting me to introduce myself.
"What's up, I'm y/n David has kept me hidden for a pretty long time I know but he's finally letting me out of the basement to film this one video." I joked, David laughed and turned back to the screen.
"So it's gonna be just like when I introduced my other siblings, we are going to just answer some question that you guys sent us on twitter, soooo let's go." David stated then pulled his phone out to read the first question.
"How old are you?" David asked.
"Wow were getting the hard hitting questions out of the way huh?" I joked. "18"
"Correct." David stated as if we were on a game show and I could somehow get my age wrong.
"Next. Does it bother you that you get attention for being my sister?" David asked looking over at me.
"Honestly no, I mean it gets a little annoying that I have to be careful who I'm friends with cause they might just be using me to get a car" I laugh, "But for the most part it's really cool. I always have the choice too like I could put my social media on private if I wanted but ya know if I can get a bag off David I'm here for it." I said laughing and sticking my tongue out at David, he already knows I wouldn't use him for clout so it's a funny inside joke between us.
"Which sibling is the Kim Kardashian?" David asked giggling.
"Oh you for sure, you drama queen." I said playfully pushing David in the arm.
"I'm Kim because I'm the best looking." David added fake tossing his hair.
"We little look so alike but whatever. I'm Khloe because I'm the most funny." I added back.
"Whatever you gotta tell yourself." David said giving the camera a look. I just rolled my eyes at him and he pulls up his phone to read to next question.
"Can you speak Slovak better than David?" David question with his eyebrow raised.
"David si želá, aby mohol hovoriť aj po slovensky, ako aj dokázal" I replied back. David just shook his head.
"I don't have to prove anything but lets not go there." David responded, he would edit in captions letting them know I had said 'David wishes he could speak Slovak as well as me'
"Do people at your school treat you differently?" David asked looking over at me, the tone in his voice making it seem like this was a question he was wanting to know for himself.
"Oh absolutely. People that bullied me in middle school are always trying to hang out especially around the holidays when they know David will be back. It used to actually trick me like when it first started happening I just thought maybe I glew up or something." I said laughing. "But nope turns out I'm still ugly and they just want to be friends with David." I said making a fake sad face.
"It's okay I still love you even though you're ugly and look! Here you are in a video finally so life turns out okay." He said throwing his arm around me.
"Yeah hopefully I don't get cut out of the video like Scott." I said joking elbowing David's side. David burst out laughing.
"That would actually be hilarious I edit you out and it's just a video of me here by myself, talking and making weird glances at the camera. Good idea I'll roll with that one." He joked.
"Whatever" I said rolling my eyes. "Guys comment down below if I should move out to LA and start my own channel and become more rich and famous than David." I said to the camera.
"You wish." David scoffed.
"I know I could do it. Let me just hit up Liza real quick, I know she misses me, we'll do a couple vids. Maybe I'll date Liza!" I said pulling my phone out acting like I was about to call her.
"Alright alright that's enough." David said taking my phone and tossing it on the bed behind us.
“What’s the worst part about being related to me?” David questioned.
“Honestly like not to be soft but there really isn’t David is just as nice of a guy as everyone thinks he is. I guess if I would have to say anything it would just be that your life is so crazy that I don’t get to see you as much as I used to.” I said turning to look at David. “Growing up David and I were like two peas in a pod and I miss my best friend.”
“Well that’s fucking sad.” David said I could see what looked like real tears in his eyes. “You’ll always have me, maybe you actually should move out to LA.”
“Ask your friends if anyone is looking for an assistant I wanna live that Natalie life.” I said joking. David rolled his eyes.
"That’s all the time we have so say goodbye y/n. We don't do outros on the second channel so I'm gonna shout out you out, girl tell them what your insta is" David said turning to me.
I was a little shocked he was actually going to give me a shout out after all the grief I was giving him. "My instagram is @y/i/n" I said smiling at the camera and waving.
David laughed and got up to turn the camera off. "You know I'm gonna edit that like I used to with Dom and just cut you off." He said picking his camera up.
"Screw you David." I said grabbing a pillow off my bed and hitting him with you.
"You're starting a war." David said with a dark look in his eye. I had grown up my whole life with that look I quickly ran out of the room with David not far behind me with a pillow of his own.

description: david talks about addie on the podcast for the first time.
Tumblr media
October 2019
“Welcome back to Views. I’m David, I’m 23. That’s Jason. He’s 46.” This was the first time David had avoided stumbling over his age since his birthday months ago and he was excited. “Wait, Jace, that was so smooth.”
“David if we’re gonna talk about smoothness we need to talk about that stunt you pulled with the Monday video.”
He let out a giggle. “Wasn’t it the best video?”
“It was really fucking cute dude. Are we gonna talk about her at all or are we just gonna leave the listeners hanging for a little longer?”
“Nah, man. I’ve had to hide her for so long. I’m so excited to talk about her you have no idea.” David had a huge smile on his face. None of the podcast listeners could see it—the boys stopped recording video with the podcast months ago. But he was sure the happiness shone through in his voice.
“Alright then dude, let’s do this. I guess you should tell people her name, right?”
David let out his signature laugh and fell back into the couch. “Oh yeah, I totally forgot I didn’t put her name in the video. Okay, okay. Her name is Addie, which is short for Adaline and she’s gonna kill me for telling everyone her full name but oh well. She is absolutely incredible. So smart and funny and a thousand percent out of my league.”
“The fact that she is still with you is mind-blowing,” Jason said, agreeing with David. When he’d met her for the first time he actually thought it was a prank.
“No dude, one of the reasons I wanted to keep our relationship private at the start is that I was convinced she was gonna realize how much better she is than me and end it.” Jason laughed and nodded his head in agreement. “No, but seriously she is incredible. I fall more in love with her every day.”
“Okay, lover boy. I don’t think the listeners want to hear you be mushy-gooshy all podcast. Tell us some more serious stuff about her, about your relationship. What does she do, how’d you guys meet, why now? Blah, blah, blah.” Jason knew everything already, but it would take a little goading for David to do more than say how much he loved his girlfriend.
“Fuck you, Jace. Let me be in looove.”
“Alright guys, so that’s all the time we have for this episode of Views—”
David laughs again, in a great mood. “Uhm, no seriously. Okay, so we met when I started talking to Nickelodeon about America’s Most Musical Family. She’s a lawyer. Well, she is now. At the time she was interning for them, so she was assisting with all the contract negotiations and stuff like that. But now she’s a fully graduated lawyer. There was a clip of her graduating in the video actually. And she took her big test to actually get licensed so she’s done studying and is going to work every day.”
“What’s she doing now?”
“She got a job clerking…is that what it’s called? I should know this, holy shit. We’ve talked about it so much.”
Jason laughed at David’s slight panic. “Yeah, dude I think you’re right. That sounds familiar.”
“Anyway, she’s clerking for a fancy judge in LA. I’m not sure if that’s the right word but I am sure this job is like. One of the hardest ones to get. Like she could work on the Supreme Court or something like that after this job, she’s that fucking smart.”
“Wait really, dude? I didn’t know that. Is that something she’s interested in?” Jason asked, genuinely curious.
“I’m not sure, Jace. She talks about the Supreme Court like it’s her dream job, but you know how humble she is. I don’t think she would actually think there’s a chance for it until, like, she started the job. Apparently like only ten people can clerk there a year or something crazy small. But maybe. How fucking cool would that be? Anyway. We’re just living in the moment now. She’s super nervous about her job because she has super bad imposter syndrome but I know she’s killing it. And it’s so nice to come home and have her like actually be here and talking to me and not just be here but studying.”
“So, you said home. I think you need to explain that one dude.”
“Oh shit, well, yeah. We moved in together officially after she graduated. We’d been dating for a year and it just felt right and it’s so great to be able to go to bed with her every night. That’s why we finally decided to tell people, though. Her stuff is here now, and it was getting hard to hide it when we were filming. Like, she’s Jewish right, so she put up these… uhm… what’re they called Jace?”
“Mezuzahs.”
“Yeah, she put mezuzahs up on the door frames, which, like, I guess is just like a thing you’re supposed to put up when you’re Jewish…”
“Well, when you’re a good Jew,” Jason said with a laugh. “I have no mezuzahs up in my house.”
David laughed too. “Yeah, you and Josh did not prepare me for this. I thought I knew what was up with, like, Hanukkah and stuff but she’s so much more religious than you guys.”
“Yes, Addie is better than I am, we get it.” David dove back into the couch with laughter.
“Anyway, people started to see the mezuzahs in some of the vlogs and people got really confused trying to figure out what they were, and then like in the fridge people noticed there was more than just drinks because Addie is a great cook and feeds me which is awesome. So, all of that was getting hard to hide. And her too, now that she’s here full time.” David laughed. He was so happy to have this all off his chest and to be able to be open about his whole life again.
“So we just decided to tell everyone so it was on our terms. She’s able to control what people see of her now and stuff which makes her feel better about the whole thing. We don’t want to be, like, super public like I was with Liza or anything. But it’s nice to not have to hide her.”
Jason hummed in agreement. “So you’re not gonna have her in the videos or anything?”
“No, I’m sure we’ll film, like, a Q&A at some point and I’m sure she’ll be in the videos here and there but her job is, like, real. And requires confidentiality. Like, I don’t think future firms want to see her getting drunk at a party. And she’s not the kind of person who would want to be all over social media anyway. I don’t think it would be fair to her to be crazy public and honestly, I don’t think I want to be that public in a relationship again.”
“David Dobrik growing up? Who would have thought,” Jason said.
“Fuck you dude,” David said through laughter.
“No, seriously dude, I’m proud of you. She’s great and you’re great together. And being with her has put you on more of a schedule.” They were both laughing now. “For anyone wondering, we are recording this podcast at three p.m. because David has finally learned how to schedule his time because Addie works a nine-to-five office job and David—”
“Well, yeah so when we first started dating and she was in school I could still kinda get away with my fucked up schedule but as she’s started working I realized if I want to, like, talk to her ever or, you know, cuddle with her or something, I can’t be editing when she’s awake and home. I mean there are sometimes when I’m super behind on an edit when my other priorities get in the way so I’ll, like, put the computer away when she gets home and just be with her until she goes to bed. Like, last night I did that and I finally finished the edit at like seven when she was waking up and I don’t normally wake up with her but it was so cool to just watch her get ready and stuff. Like the way she pulls on a pencil skirt is just so mesmerizing to me. And then she gave me a kiss before she left. Like it’s great to just be able to be in sync with her because there were a few months where I was a shitty boyfriend to her with my editing schedule and I felt so terrible about it. So now I’m trying to be good about it so that I can actually see my girlfriend, y’know.”
“Dude, I’m not complaining. I’m so happy that you’re usually asleep at three a.m. like a normal person. And the fact that you didn’t sleep until three p.m. today even though you got to bed super late is also a vast improvement.”
David laughed again.
“Alright, before we cut to an ad, tell me your favorite Addie story.”
“Ooh, my favorite Addie story. Hmm, the first one that comes to mind is my twenty-second birthday, we had kind of been flirting after my meetings at Nickelodeon, but she didn’t want to actually go on a date with me because she thought that was super unprofessional. But I think it was pretty obvious that we both were interested in each other. So, when I came into my first meeting after my birthday she told me she had something for me and I followed her to her desk and she had baked me twenty-two little camera cookies. Like, you could tell she would do something like that for anyone in her life—and I’ve seen her do that kind of stuff since we started dating—but for her to think about my birthday, and spend time to make these for me, and personalize them to look like my camera. I don’t know. It’s just so her, y’know?” David was smiling. He hadn’t stopped all podcast and Jason was sure the rest of their conversation would be about Addie.
