Pro Wrestling Illustrated, May 2006
The Wrestling Forecaster: Bryan Danielson
Tumblr media
(@nextstopwonderland there's your boy)
WHAT’S AHEAD FOR THE REMAINDER OF 2006?
“The American Dragon” has nearly seven years of experience under his belt, yet he is only 24 years old. He had a big year in 2005 by winning the Ring of Honor heavyweight title, and now he’s going to concentrate on restoring some stability to that championship. His goal is to break Samoa Joe’s record for most successful title defenses, and he’s off to a good start so far. But Danielson may be spreading himself a bit too thin in his attempt to win respect both for himself and for the title he holds dear. He has agreed to defend the title against challengers from other independent promotions, which could be potentially dangerous for ROH. Danielson risks having an outside competitor beat him for the ROH title and then defend the belt in matches not sanctioned by the company. Danielson will win over more and more fans for his willingness to be a fighting champion, and under his reign, ROH will continue to grow and sell more DVDs. Danielson just has to be vigilant. One bad decision could cost him the title and do the ROH championship irreparable damage.
WHERE WILL HE BE IN 2011?
Danielson has the pedigree of having been trained by Shawn Michaels, which means eventually WWE will bring him on board. Will WWE fans be ready for Danielson’s brand of stiff international mat work? Probably not at first, but Danielson will win the fans over through great matches against Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit. He will single-handedly make pure wrestling cool in WWE, and the “cattle mutilation” will be the biggest submission hold in the company.
WHERE WILL HE BE IN 2016?
Danielson’s career will largely follow the same trajectory as Chris Benoit’s. He’ll win universal acclaim from the wrestling media and Internet fans, but will have a difficult–nearly impossible–time cracking through to the elite level. It will be Triple-H who will finally give him a chance, as the veteran superstar will be eager to try his catch-as-catch-can skills against the “Dragon.” At SummerSlam 2016, Danielson will fulfill the proverbial childhood dream, surprising HHH with a backslide to win the WWE title. It will be a good day for fans of the “sweet science.”

Sunny Voyage 2023 + Dominion 2023 Match Predictions
Tumblr media
Checking at my clock and right now it's about 3:30 in the morning meaning I have about two hours to do all these predictions so here we go with predictions for "Sunny Voyage 2023 in Shinjuku FACE" and "Dominion 6.4 in Osaka-Jo Hall".
Let's start off with "Sunny Voyage 2023 in Shinjuku FACE" which is headlined by an intense main event that could result in KO or too many kicks to count. Anyway, here we go with the predictions for "Sunny Voyage 2023 in Shinjuku FACE"
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Opening Match: Taishi Ozawa vs. Manabu Soya Prediction: Too easy of a win here. Going with Manabu Soya for the win
Match #2: Shuji Kondo, Hiroki, and Hajime Ohara vs. Yoshinari Ogawa, Chris Ridgeway, and Daga Prediction: Based on all that's been going on lately, I'm sensing another win for Stinger most likely in dominant fashion.
Match #3: Stallion Rogers vs. Sean Legacy Prediction: Sean has so far impressed me. He's got that potential. Stallion Rogers is okay but have yet to sense the potential I've been sensing in Sean Legacy so going with Legacy for the win.
Match #4: Dante Leon and Junta Miyawaki vs. HAYATA and Eita Prediction: Intriguing match here as we saw something we didn't expect, HAYATA and Eita teaming up. This is their biggest test but with them facing Dante Leon, it'll be a tall order. Most new teams don't win their first match together but based on the build here, I could sense HAYATA and Eita winning. Either that or Dante shows us all he'll do whatever it takes to become GHC Junior Heavyweight Champion once again.
Match #5: Akitoshi Saito, Shuhei Taniguchi, Mohammed Yone, Naomichi Marufuji, and Takashi Sugiura vs. Yoshiki Inamura, Daiki Inaba, Masa Kitamiya, Kaito Kiyomiya, and Go Shiozaki. Prediction: Crazy match that is just thrown together. Barely a storyline or build going into this match. So my prediction is a wild a crazy one. Got two predictions here. Sugiura will get the win by pinning Inaba but will get attacked by Jake Lee afterwards. Or Kiyomiya will get the win by pinning Mohammed Yone sending a clear message to Kazuchika Okada who has problems with not just Kiyomiya but with those in his own company that are all around the same age as him (Ren Narita and Shota Umino)
Semi-Final Match: GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship: Atsushi Kotoge/Seiki Yoshioka (Challenger Team) vs. Tadasuke/YO-HEY (Champion Team) Prediction: I originally predicted the challengers to win but based on the fact NJPW did a retweet of this match alone and the fact that neither GLG or Just 5 Guys have been booked yet for "All Together Again" I expect the champions to retain and a surprise confrontation post-match.
Main Event Match: Special Singles Match: Katsuhiko Nakajima vs. Kenoh Prediction: This will be the third match of Nakajima/Kenoh I get to see live. First one was the N1 Victory 2021 finals where Nakajima won with a new move that has barely been seen since that victory. Last one was an intense 60-minute draw which turned out to be the first one I saw in any wrestling format since June 11, 2017 when Kenny Omega and Kazuchika Okada went the full distance. So...here, feel like and I've been saying this since the match has been made. Nakajima has to win. While with AXIZ, the two matches both him and Kenoh had ended with KO declaring Kenoh the winner. When he joined Kongo in August 2020, Nakajima unleashed a vicious side of himself and dominated against Kenoh to win their N1 Victory 2020 Block Match. Now that he's back with AXIZ, he has to prove that he made the right choice. If Nakajima cannot beat Kenoh as an AXIZ member, many people will be asking questions so in this main event, I'm going with Katsuhiko Nakajima for the win.
With the match predictions for "Sunny Voyage 2023 in Shinjuku FACE" done, it's now time to turn over to "Dominion 2023 in Osaka-Jo Hall" taking place this Sunday June 4, 2023.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Opening Match: Special Singles Match: Lance Archer vs. Will Ospreay Prediction: Winner here will get a shot at the IWGP United States Championship most likely at "The Forbidden Door". And with the way things are going, I see Will Ospreay emerging victorious but at what cost remains to be seen.
Match #2: Tetsuya Naito, Shingo Takagi, BUSHI, and Titan vs. Taichi, Yoshinobu Kanemaru, DOUKI, and Taka Michinoku Prediction: As we await the status of a possible new LIJ member in Yota Tsuji, 4 of the 5 current LIJ members face 4 of the 5 Just 5 Guys members and to me, this one is too easy. I see a LIJ win with Tetsuya Naito most likely pinning Taka Michinoku
Match #3: IWGP Junior Tag Team Championship: Francesco Akira/TJP (Challenger Team) vs. Kevin Knight/KUSHIDA (Champion Team) Prediction: I'm sensing this to be a big night for the United Empire so going with new champions in Catch 2/2.
Match #4: NJPW World TV Championship: Jeff Cobb (Challenger) vs. Zac Sabre Jr. (Champion) Prediction: Last match, these two went the full distance (15 minutes) so there has to be a winner here within that 15-minute frame. Like I said, sensing a big night for the United Empire so...going with Jeff Cobb for the win here.
Match #5: Match to determine the 99th IWGP Tag Team Champions and the 4th NJPW Strong Tag Team Champions: Great O-Khan and Aaron Henare vs. EVIL and Yujiro Takahashi vs. Hirooki Goto and YOSHI-HASHI Prediction: Very hard one to predict. Originally had predict Aussie Open to retain but when they pulled out, went with Bishamon but with YOSHI-HASHI's recent comments, have this wild prediction. Bishamon will win only if Hirooki Goto gets the winning pin. Other than that, United Empire will complete the sweep and leave Osaka with gold all over.
Match #6: NEVER Openweight Championship Match: El Phantasmo (Challenger) vs. David Finlay (Champion) Prediction: This match alone may reach Nakajima/Kenoh levels or something darker. Though I'll be rooting for El Phantasmo, I sadly see David Finlay retaining and how he retains could be worse than how he beat Tama Tonga for the title at "Wrestling Dontaku 2023"
Match #8: NEVER 6-man Tag Team Championship: Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Shota Umino (Challenger Team) vs. Kazuchika Okada, Tomohiro Ishii, and Hiroshi Tanahashi (Champion Team) Prediction: Kazuchika Okada can easily handle Kaito Kiyomiya (who's looking to avenge his loss on June 9th in Ryogoku). Okada can handle Ren Narita easily. But...when it comes to Shota Umino. I said this on social media this past weekend and saying it here again...everytime Okada is under the impression that he can handle Shota Umino easily, seems like Umino is one or two steps ahead of him and I feel like that 6-man tag in Long Beach, CA changed Umino to the man we're seeing now. So...my prediction for this match is we're getting new champions. BCC going to take the 6-man titles hostage.
Semi-Main Event: IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship: Master Wato (Challenger/BOSJ 30 Winner) vs. Hiromu Takahashi (Champion) Prediction: A hard one to predict but right now going with Master Wato for the win. It's his hometown and most times, the hometown hero always wins.
Main Event: IWGP World Heavyweight Championship: Yota Tsuji (Challenger) vs. SANADA (Champion) Prediction: Hardest title match to predict in a long time even if this will be Tsuji's first match back from excursion. My prediction on this main event will shock you. I'm going with the time-limit draw. We'll most likely see our first 60-minute draw in 6 years.
So...there you have it. My predictions for today's "Sunny Voyage 2023 in Shinjuku FACE" which starts about a hour from now (5:30 AM Eastern) and my predictions for Sunday's "Dominion 6.4 in Osaka-Jo Hall".
Tune in for "Sunny Voyage 2023 in Shinjuku FACE" today (May 31, 2023) at 5:30 AM Eastern/4:30 AM Central/2:30 AM Pacific. Pro Wrestling NOAH's English Twitter account has all the start times for the event. In the case you can't find your start time, go to timeanddate.com, type in the city you live in to find the start time in your area.
"Dominion 2023 in Osaka-Jo Hall" (aka Dominion 6.4) comes Sunday June 4th at 4 PM Local Time/3 AM Eastern/2 AM Central/Midnight Pacific. If your start time is not list, like I said about "Sunny Voyage 2023 in Shinjuku FACE" go to timeanddate.com, type in the city you live in to find the start time in your area for "Dominion".
Enjoy both these shows coming later on today (for Sunny Voyage) and this Sunday (Dominion) respectively.

post-s3 mob (specifically) really enjoys pro-wrestling but absolutely refuses to believe that it’s all pre-produced and planned out, so he gets very legitimately upset whenever one of the wrestlers he likes makes a heel turn. Like genuine betrayal and disbelief in that poor boy’s eyes. One of the wrestlers, after winning a team title, becomes very predictably possessive over the trophy and starts saying canned anime villain lines and declares his partner his eternal enemy (will be resolved in one month TOPS) and Mob buys into it so fucking hard, hook line and sinker, because he’s completely accustomed to very strange adult men with god complexes doing villain monologues at him and being 100% serious about it.

MY WRESTLEMANIA 40 PREDICTIONS
Tumblr media
Wrestlemania 40 starts tonight. Wish I was in the States right now 😭 I had to put in my 2 cents on how the show is going to go down.
This is my opinion and nothing more.
-----------
NIGHT ONE
Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Becky Lynch for the Women's World Title - I think someone else is dethroning Rhea. She’s way too popular right now too.
Gunther (c) vs. Sami Zayn for the WWE Intercontinental Title - same as above. Someone more formidable is dethroning Gunther.
The Judgment Day (Finn Balor and Damian Priest) (c) vs. #DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa) vs. The Awesome Truth (The Miz and R-Truth) vs. The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) vs. A-Town Down Under (Austin Theory and Grayson Waller) vs. New Catch Republic (Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate) in a Six-Pack Ladder match for the Undisputed WWE tag Team Titles - apparently the titles are getting split, so there’s that.
Jey Uso vs. Jimmy Uso - Jimmy has essentially been booked as a joke. He needs this win more than Jey does. Jey will be fine, but for some melodramatic reason I see Jey sacrificing himself for his big brother’s sake.
Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill and Naomi vs. Damage CTRL (Dakota Kai, Asuka, and Kairi Sane) - no brainer. WWE are not letting Jade lose her very first match.
Latino World Order (Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee) vs. Santos Escobar and Dominik Mysterio - Dragon Lee has been replaced by Andrade. The result won’t change because Carlito will turn on Rey for looking him over again.
Roman Reigns and The Rock vs. Cody Rhodes and Seth "Freakin'" Rollins - Why have another standard main event match when Bloodline Rules stipulation has been thrown out there? Also, Rock pins Cody. The storyline has focused much more on them and this heaps more adversity on Cody to win.
NIGHT TWO
Seth Rollins (c) vs. Drew McIntyre for the World Heavyweight Title - Seth’s done all he can do with his reign. Drew has earned a title win in front of fans. The Bloodline may cost Seth. No comment on that guest hypocrite commentator.
Iyo Sky (c) vs. Bayley for the WWE Women's Title - No brainer. Bayley gets her redemption story. Iyo has been good but her title reign has run its course.
Logan Paul (c) vs. Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens for the WWE United States Title - I honestly couldn’t choose, so I picked KO because I like him the best. The match will be fire though.
LA Knight vs. AJ Styles - I’m not very invested in this match. May the better white man win.
Bobby Lashley, Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins vs. The Final Testament (Karrion Kross, Akam, and Rezar) in a Philadelphia Street Fight - I’m DEFINITELY not invested in this match. Get Bobby, Montez and Angelo out of this garbage feud, pronto!
Roman Reigns (c) vs. Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title - My Tribal Chief has had one of the greatest title reigns and orchestrated one of the most compelling storylines in pro wrestling history. He’s beaten the entire roster. It’s time to move the responsibility of ‘Face of the WWE’ to someone else. I like Cody. Wrestling with a torn pec for 30 mins earned my respect. I think he will do a great job of carrying the company and the matchups will be fresh. It will be Bloodline Rules to make way for all the overbooking that’s going to take place in this match. The Rock will turn on Roman to cost him the title and kick-start their feud for WM41.
-----------
Thoughts? Am I thinking too much into all of this, lol. Mania is going to be awesome!

FEBUWHUMP | HELPLESS | WC: 594
“Your student’s sleeping off an injury you gave him,” Chiyo said icily. “Get out of my office and go brood somewhere else.”
Slumped back in one of her most uncomfortable chairs, arms crossed and legs propped up on young Yagi’s cot, Recovery Girl’s biggest pain in her ass made a thoroughly unattractive grunt. His hair was in disarray (normal), and he was unmasked (not normal). He was still in his flight suit and cape.
She went up to his seat and knocked her syringe against a plastic leg. “I’m not telling you again.”
“Is what you said last time,” Torino finally rasped. When Chiyo glanced down to check his expression, it was schooled back into an impassive, intimidating stare at his student’s--intern? ward?--unconscious body. There was a disconcerting redness to the corners of his eyes though.
Chiyo opted not to point this out. Guilt wouldn’t stop Torino from his relentless drive to condition Yagi into a close-combat nightmare; if anything, guilt was the reason behind it. “Well, I mean it right now. He’s not going to want to see you first thing.”
His jaw worked in silence. Yagi’s chest rose and fell in a reassuringly normal rhythm.
“One of these days, this boy’s going to blow up at you,” Chiyo predicted. “You can’t keep thrashing him in the name of the greater good and expect perfect obedience. He’s not a soldier. He’s a kid.”
“This kid chose to take the Quirk,” Torino said. “You think Shimura asked him to get a permission slip signed? No. She offered One for All and told him of all the strings attached, and he still took it. He knows what he’s in for.”
“Somehow, I don’t think he expected his guardian to be the one giving him a concussion.”
“I’m his trainer,” he said flatly.
“You’re also listed as his foster parent,” Chiyo shot back. “You know where this road leads? Total estrangement, at best. An attempt on your life at worst, if Yagi-kun would rather break than bend to your stupid idea of survival training.”
Torino pushed himself to his feet, and he whirled on Chiyo, lips pulling back to bare his teeth. She’d faced meaner, so she stood her ground and met him glare for glare. “I don’t see you doing anything to help him,” he snarled. “You’re healing him. You’re not stopping me. See the difference?”
The words burned, because they were true. Recovery Girl had more than enough proof to put a stop to Torino’s treatment of Yagi, and even wrestle Torino’s teaching credentials and pro-hero license away from the asshole. She had an ethical, moral duty to protect the students of U.A.. To heal any injury, and report any potential abuse of power.
Regardless of Yagi’s earnest pleading to excuse Torino’s behavior, Chiyo should have gone straight to the Commission. And she didn’t.
She couldn’t, even now.
Chiyo chewed furiously over the concession that Gran Torino was, unfortunately, the best person to make sure that Yagi survived his first year out of U.A.. Like hell she’d give Gran Torino the satisfaction. She jabbed a finger towards the door and waited.
It took him a few seconds to register her meaning, but once he did, Gran Torino’s seething faltered and sputtered out. He looked caught off-guard by the blatant dismissal. And for a second, he checked on Yagi, who remained blissfully, ignorantly asleep. There was something desperate, something wounded in the lines of his frown--but that wasn’t Chiyo’s problem.
“Visiting hours are over,” she said, finally.
He nodded, mute, and left.

These Sponsors have paid for a two on one pro wresting match, with predictable results.
They're becoming more and more turned on at the brutality, pained groans and suffering. And the blood of course.
Here they are telling the dominant wrestlers what they want them to do with their victim next.
One wants a double head and body scissors, another wants a camel clutch with boston crab.
The Sponsors have all taken their Viagra and cant wait to gang bang the loser.
Later in the evening, they will enjoy watching the tag team here wrestle and fuck each other. One Sponsor has brought a double ended dildo, for some ass to ass action between the wrestlers.
A nice show to end their expensive evening.

My G1 Climax 33 and N-1 Victory 2023 Final Predictions
As we are only 5 days away from G1 Climax 33 beginning in Sapporo and less than a month away from N-1 Victory 2023 beginning in Yokohama, can say with full confidence that I have my predicted finals for 2023 and here they are:
Tumblr media
For G1 Climax 33, my predicted final will be Kaito Kiyomiya vs. Tetsuya Naito.
Now, I have 3 ways as to how each will make it to the finals in which I have 3 sets of predictions of who will be my final 8.
The first set of my final 8 will be Shota Umino and Kaito Kiyomiya from A Block, Kazuchika Okada and El Phantasmo from B Block, Eddie Kingston and EVIL from C Block, and Jeff Cobb and Tetsuya Naito from D Block. In this first set for Kiyomiya to be in the final, I have him beating Jeff Cobb and El Phantasmo while I have Naito beating Okada and EVIL. Interesting fact, this first set of 8 I have predicted would've had Okada and Kiyomiya in the finals but if I want Naito in the final, tough decision had to be made in which Naito will beat Okada and then EVIL to face Kaito Kiyomiya.
For my second set, I have Kaito Kiyomiya and SANADA from Block A, El Phantasmo and KENTA from Block B, my top 2 from Block C remains unchanged (Eddie Kingston and EVIL), and in D Block I have Tetsuya Naito and Zack Sabre Jr. Now, here for the final, I will have Kiyomiya overcoming the House of Torture to defeat EVIL and then defeat El Phantasmo to advance to the final. Tetsuya Naito...have him beating SANADA in what could be a preview for Wrestle Kingdom 18 should Naito win the G1 and then have him beating KENTA avenging a Ryogoku loss from 3 years ago. In this second set here, should this final come to be, have Naito facing Pro Wrestling NOAH's past (KENTA) in the semi-finals and NOAH's present (Kaito Kiyomiya) in the overall finals. Be interesting to see how that'll work out.
My third and final set of my final 8 will have once more Shota Umino and Kaito Kiyomiya from A Block (they were also predicted in my first set). El Phantasmo and KENTA from B Block (predicted in my second set). You can say C Block is pretty much set in stone because I just feel that Eddie Kingston and EVIL will be the top two no matter what the prediction is. And D Block...same as the first set, Jeff Cobb and Tetsuya Naito. The final 4 I predicted here would be NOAH's past meeting NOAH's present while at the same time a LIJ betrayal that could lead to a revival. That predicted final 4 in this set is KENTA (NOAH's Past) vs. Kaito Kiyomiya (NOAH's Present) and EVIL (the traitor) vs. Tetsuya Naito.
Now, who do I have winning G1 Climax 33? Many know that this year, this G1 will belong to Tetsuya Naito. Have Tetsuya Naito going all the way and it'll be interesting if he'll keep the promise that Kenoh and Kiyomiya made in Hachioji.
That promise is that the G1 Climax 33 winner will meet the N-1 Victory 2023 winner in a singles match in a Pro Wrestling NOAH ring.
Speaking of N-1 Victory 2023, I have my predicted final but how I have them reaching the final remains to be seen as the match cards will not be announced until July 15th 2023 after which I'll have an image as how this final will come to light. But...I have my predicted N-1 Victory Final and...it'll be Kenoh vs. Go Shiozaki in which I'll have Shiozaki finally defeating Kenoh and getting not only that first win over the former Kongo leader but his first singles tournament victory in Pro Wrestling NOAH. Interesting fact, even when it was Global League, Shiozaki has never won the finals itself. He reached the finals in 2017 and lost to Kenoh in that year's overall final. This year, in 2023, I feel like this will be his chance to win this tournament and show us all age is just a number. Shiozaki is the oldest of the 16 N-1 Victory 2023 participants competing at the age of 41.
Tumblr media
So, to recap this...despite a promise being made, neither Kaito Kiyomiya or Kenoh will be able to keep it as both will lose in their finals to Tetsuya Naito and Go Shiozaki respectively. Again, be interesting to see if Naito and Shiozaki will go along with the promise that Kiyomiya and Kenoh made in Hachioji.
G1 Climax 33 begins July 15th in Sapporo and will end on August 13th in Ryogoku Kokukigan. N-1 Victory 2023 begins August 6th in Yokohama Budokan and will end on September 3rd in EDION Arena Osaka.
Go to the official G1 Climax 33 website (click here) and the official N-1 Victory 2023 website (click here) to find out the start times to all 18 G1 events and all 9 N1 Victory events. Then, if you're not in the area where each event is at, go to timeanddate.com, type in the city you currently live in to find out the start time in your area.
All 19 G1 Climax 33 Events will air on NJPW World with the first two airing on ABEMA in Japanese Commentary.
All 9 N1 Victory events will air on ABEMA (for free) with Japanese commentary and on Wrestle Universe (subscription required) with English commentary.
Time to see which 1 of the 32 in the G1 and 16 in the N1 will be "Born in the Ring" which is the theme for this year's G1 Climax. Enjoy these two summer tournaments events starting on Saturday with G1 Climax 33 in full bloom in Sapporo and some N-1 Victory 2023 preview matches in Korakuen Hall.

My AEW Revolution 2024 Predictions
I am so excited for this ppv and I have to much energy on myself so, deal with it
Tumblr media
Tornado Tag Match Sting's Last Match - Darby Allin & Sting (AEW Tag Team Champions) VS Golf Trainers- oh sorry- AEW EVP'S Matthew & Nicholas Jackson
Let's start with the cherry on the top, I am so ready to cry on this match, even knowing that most likely Sting will appear again on AEW but not wrestling again
But for sure, 100% that the not Young Bucks anymore will win this match - I mean if its Sting's last match will Darby defend both belts alone?? I mean he is capable of it. but come on, one last match of this amazing tag team against the non Young Bucks is the perfect finish for this era
AEW WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP - Samoa Joe (C) VS Swerve Strickland VS Hangman Adam Page
Everyone is imagining that it will Swerve versus Hangman and Samoa Joe will be like third wheeling or something like that
this one will be pretty intense both men fighting for the gold and Samoa Joe defending it
I really want Swerve to win it but I think Samoa Joe will retain it, I mean it's the first ppv that he defends it
AEW WOMEN'S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP - "Timeless" Toni Storm (C) VS Deonna Purrazo
Besides the Zero Hour one with Kris and Willow versus Julia Hart and Skye Blue, this is the only women´s match on the ppv..........come on AEW, your women's division is so freaking powerful and you still don´t know how to properly promoted, and we are on the International Women's month, come on......
I think Deonna Purrazo will win it for sure, but if Toni retains it I am so excited to see how this feud will keep going, because this feud was so well played, I am more than seated for this match
AEW INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP - Orange Cassidy (C) VS Roderick Strong
It has to be Orange Cassidy, if it isn´t I will shave my eyebrows
Roderick Strong is being too annoying for Orange it has to be our denim and thumbs up man
AEW CONTINENTAL CROWN CHAMPIONSHIP - Eddie Kingston (C) VS Bryan Danielson
I am a bit uncertain with this one, but I think Eddie will retain it
and what an hell of a match this will be
Will Ospreay VS Konosuke Takeshita
another one that I am have no clue too who might win
but I guess Will Ospreay
TNT CHAMPIONSHIP - (Pro Pokemon Hunter) Christian Cage (C) VS Daniel Garcia
I am so excited for this one
But still for how much I would like to see Daniel with the gold, I am 100% sure that the Patriarchy will mess with this match
But its more than time for Daniel to be a champion (again)
FTR VS Jon Moxley & Claudio Castagnoli
I am also unsure about this one, just to be different
But I think Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli will win it
ALL STAR 8-MAN SCRAMBLE - Dante Martin VS HOOK (FTW Champion) VS Brian Cage VS Magnus VS Chris Jericho VS Powerhouse Hobbs VS Brian Cage VS Wardlow
yes I am pretty HOOK biased but I dont think he will win this one, even tho I am an huge fan of this fighting big dudes agenda
also 2/5 of the Lads fighting each other
also 3/5 of Team Taz fighting each other
I think it will be more between Hobbs and Wardlow for sure, after yesterday's Collision
Zero Hour: Kris Statlander & Willow Nightingale VS Julia Hart (TBS Champion) & Skye Blue
I am so excited for this one!!!
I think it will be Kris and Willow, in my mind if it Julia and Skye Blue, I think Willow will possibly turn on Kris idk why
Zero Hour: 12 MAN TAG MATCH - Bang Bang Scissor Gang VS Jeff Jarrett, Jay Lethal, Satnam Singh, Private Party & Willie Mack
Come on it has to be Bang Bang Scissor Gang because they are Bang Bang Scissor Gang!!!!!!!!!
Tumblr media
Anyway, what do you guys think?? Pls talk to me-

Pro Wrestling Illustrated, May 2006
The Wrestling Forecaster: Samoa Joe
Tumblr media
(@selamat-linting @scopophil here y'all go)
WHAT’S AHEAD FOR THE REMAINDER OF 2006?
Everyone is predicting huge things out of Samoa Joe. He is TNA’s breakthrough star, and the first TNA wrestler to be the subject of a PWI cover story. Joe is cutting a bloody swatch through the X division, and we predict he’ll continue to dominate that division, piling up wins over Christopher Daniels, A.J. Styles, and Austin Aries before he demands a different type of challenge. The first man to answer the rugged Samoan’s call will be Abyss, and those two big men will push one another to the limit in some of the most physical matches U.S. wrestling fans have ever seen. Joe will ultimately win that feud and then either challenge Sting for the NWA heavyweight title or go after Jeff Jarrett in another epic feud. Samoa Joe will be TNA’s top heel of 2006, but he won’t win the NWA title. That will happen in 2007 with Joe competing as a fan favorite.
WHERE WILL HE BE IN 2011?
In five years, Joe will only be 31 years old. He will sign with WWE in 2009, but the point of contention will be his weight. Joe will be under pressure to conform to the WWE body type, in spite of the pre-existing gentlemen’s agreement that his physique would be a non-issue. With his huge fan following, Joe will be empowered to stick to his guns. WWE Creative will back down, but Joe will be forced to spend many months in the developmental system and then kept out of the top storylines. He will state in an exclusive interview with Matt Brock that leaving TNA was a mistake. (Brock would die from cirrhosis of the liver before the interview was published). By 2011, WWE, realizing its miscalculation, will concede to the fans’ wishes and push Joe to the moon. In 2011, he will take the Raw brand by storm and march inexorably toward the WWE title.
WHERE WILL HE BE IN 2016?
Joe will ultimately drop the WWE title to Carlito and then will gradually be phased out of the title picture. By 2014, he will request his WWE release and embark upon a tour of Japan, where he will quickly become that nation’s top gaijin (foreign) wrestler. In 2016, Joe will win the Pro Wrestling NOAH GHC title, beating his 2005 rival Kenta Kobashi for the honor. Joe’s incredible marketing power will even be enough to get promoters from All-Japan Pro Wrestling to agree to an inter-promotional match pitting Joe against whoever holds the Triple Crown title. Like Terry Funk, Bruiser Brody, and Stan Hansen before him, Joe will make history in Japan.

Stardom 2024 predictions a la "3 Count"
If you guys haven't seen the WrestleTalk series "3 Count" I highly recommend it. Basically, it's predicting something, or looking back on something, and describing it in three words or less. I wanted to use that format to give my Stardom predictions for 2024. I can look back on these next year and see how many I got right :) Feel free to comment your own or give your thoughts!
Some of these are a little more lacklustre than others. For example, I had nothing for Ruaka to do XD You'll see that a bunch, ones that have the vibe of "creative has nothing for you".
Some of these might be '''controversial'''??? I don't know, but it's all meant in good humour, so please don't @ me with slander cos you disagree with me XD I don't think the Stardom/wrestling community is like that at all honestly, it should go without saying, but nevertheless :)
2023 was a tricky year for Stardom, so I'm hoping for some great improvements and more awesome content in 2024!

SUNNY-BURNED
The Bodydonnas & Godwinns Won’t Be The Last To Feel Her Sting
First she was with The Bodydonnas. Then The Godwinns. Now it’s The Smokin’ Gunns. Sunny is on a power trip that’s wreaking havoc with the WWF tag team ranks. The time is coming for old enemies to unite and stop her!
By Andy Rodriguez
It’s usually a compliment to say that someone has a sunny disposition. Say that to anyone in the WWF, however, and you might get punched in the nose.
Because whomever you talk to will inevitably hear “sunny” as “Sunny,” and the last thing most of them want is to be compared to the most controversial manager to hit the federation in years.
Sunny has made a lot of enemies in a short amount of time. From the day she entered the WWF as the manager of Skip, Sunny has joyously antagonized fans, wrestlers, and her fellow managers. Right at the start, she let everyone know she intended to dominate the WWF the way she had dominated Smoky Mountain.
She hasn’t achieved total domination yet, but she has created a lot of chaos. Three of the WWF’s top tag teams–The Bodydonnas, Godwinns, and Smokin’ Gunns–have experienced firsthand Sunny’s particular brand of turmoil.
When The Bodydonnas–Skip and Zip–captured the World tag team title at WrestleMania XII, Sunny received most of the credit for their success. But when The Bodydonnas lost the belts to Henry and Phineas Godwinn, Sunny became very dissatisfied.
[Skip gets lifted up (above) and thrown down by Henry Godwinn (right) during a Bodydonnas-Godwinn match in the spring. It’s time these two teams put aside their differences and went after a certain common enemy–a devious female enemy.]
“She has zero patience,” said broadcaster Dox Hendrix, “and she didn’t want anything to do with them afterward.”
Instead of trying to figure out how to regain the belts for her team, Sunny convinced Phineas, who has a tremendous crush on her, to signa paper making her his co-manager for the Godwinns’ title defense against The Smokin’ Gunns at In Your House VIII.
Her secret aim? Infiltrate the Godwinns’ camp and learn all about their strengths and weaknesses.
On the night of the match with the Gunns, when she climbed up on the ring apron during the bout, Billy Gunn grabbed her and gave her a passionate kiss, one she enjoyed. As Phinease watched, heartbroken, Bart Gunn suplexed him and scored the pin to give the Gunns the title.
Again, Sunny went with the winners. The next night, she made her debut as the Gunns’ manager and watched them defeat The Bodydonnas.
[Sunny could probably predict when Skip would try a legdrop against Phineas Godwinn (left) … or when Henry would try to slingshot Skip into a corner (bottom left). She knows both teams so well, and that’s what makes her so dangerous.]
“I go where the money is!” she explained and exclaimed. “I go where the gold is!” With that attitude, Sunny has left some confused people in her wake.
Skip is demanding that Sunny, in his words, “come to her senses.” He even claims there is a clause in the contract he and Zip have with Sunny that prevents her from managing other teams. He’s so angry he’s ready to take her to court and is accusing her of having “mental problems.”
Phineas Godwinn, on the other hand, is just lovesick. As far as he’s concerned, his sweetheart just deserted him.
The Gunns, though, are feeling good. Billy and Bart have the belts, and they’re willing to credit Sunny for their good fortune.
“She’s the best,” said Billy. “We're really excited. She’s going to take us a long way.”
Sunny is taking them all right, her critics say, but probably not where they want to go. She’s taking them for a ride.
“Those boys are pretty naive,” Jim Cornette said. “After what she did to those other teams, do they really think she’ll stick by them? They lose and she’ll be out of there in two seconds. She pretty much admits that hearself!”
Others say Sunny’s plans are even more devious, that she is quietly putting together scouting reports on all the teams in the WWF. It makes sense, too. She has managed The Bodydonnas, Godwinns, and Gunns and , by her own admission, hed meetings with The New Rockers. That means she will be an invaluable strategist for whichever team she manages. And if one team fails her, she can move on to one of the others.
She isn’t above switching sides at the drop of a hat.
“I’m convinced that really is her plan,” said Tony Anthony, who wrestled against Sunny-managed wrestlers in Smoky Mountain. “She’ll play all these guys for fools for her own personal gain.”
Of course, Sunny dismisses the criticism, but admits she wants to know as much as possible about the WWF tag team scene, and maybe more than that.
“Knowledge is power,” Said Cornette. “The more she knows, the more successful she’ll be. I also wouldn’t be surprised if she got back into singles wrestling.”
[Henry Godwinn applies a wristlock on Zip while Phineas uses his elbow on him. Sunny is probably enjoying watching these teams do battle now. For the moment she’s worried about The Smokin’ Gunns holding on the WWF tag belts.]
So it’s possible, then, that Sunny will ultimately try to do the singles circuit what she has done on the tag team scene. She may want to hop, skip, and jump among stars like Shawn Michaels, Goldust, and Hunter Hearst Helmsley.
It’s a frightening possibility.
“Before she considers taking it that far,” said one WWF wrestler, “she should be stopped. Somebody has to beat The Gunns! And if either The Bodydonnas or Godwinns do it, they both have to tell her to take a hike if she wants to manage them.”
“It won't be easy to keep Sunny out of power,” Cornette said. She’s ruthless. And it’ll be just as hard to get The Bodydonnas and Godwinns to agree on something. Those boys hate each other!”
If they can’t work together against her, a very power-hungry manager may be on her way to achieving her wish for complete domination of a federation.
If they do, she may be reduced to merely posing in swimsuits.
[The Bodydonnas might have a new manager, but our guess is that they long for the day when Sunny will be back in their corner. That’s the last thing they need.]

11 years of Suzuki Gun...
I'm grateful that I got to watch 6 of those 11 years play out in real time. I started watching NJPW just as Suzuki Gun returned from Noah, and they've been such a key aspect of what pulled me into the promotion, and what kept me watching. They're my favorite faction in all of wrestling. No one else even comes close.
For as long as I've been watching New Japan, people have been predicting that Suzuki Gun would end in mutiny, and that Taichi would turn on Suzuki and take over the group. But having the faction end this way, when and where Suzuki wants it to end, is better, I think.
Suzuki believes that "heel" isn't an identity that a wrestler can assign to themself, but rather, an interpretation that has to come from the audience. Suzuki acts, remaining true to who he is, and the crowd decides how to respond. That's a key aspect of his pro wrestling philosophy.
I keep thinking about the time I saw him in New York, how he ended the show by cursing out the crowd, but he meant it with love, and the crowd understood it as affection.
Today, when he announced that he would be disbanding Suzuki Gun, the crowd didn't see a heel standing in that ring.
