Headcanons for being every vile instructors favourite student and they bicker over you and eventually decide on "sharing custody", please?

Of course!

(I know in the rules I said that I will not accept more than 3 characters but in this request wasn't nessecary making them separated so it doesn't count, I will aclare this in the request page more late)

Being the favorite student of all the VILE faculty

- Everything was so calm at first...

- And then they saw how you fitted in every expectation every single of them had

- It started with you being excelent with fighting, being flawless in every single movement you did while fighting one of the other student in Coach Brunt's class

- then Countess Cleo saw how you could easily guess which was the right valuable project when it locked exactly like some garbage, and with an elegance she loved it

- after that, Proffesor Maelstrom looked at your perfect analisis of physical language, getting to know which was a police and which was a simple civilian

- and the cherry of the cake was when Dr. Bellum observed your majestic ideas of how to use simple technologic artefacts to do something completly new, or even how to use them to do a perfect caper

- they all loved you, trying to guide you to be more way into their forms of thief than the other instructors

- they all wanted to be the idol you followed and guide you into your criminal career

- you reminded them of black sheep, but no, you could be even more than her in their eyes

- and maybe one day you could catch her, but for that you had to be better than her

- you had to be specialized in every way

- and they were going to make that true, giving you their known, making you better every day

- you sure are gonna do a good thief when you graduate, they are sure of it

Okay I just started Carmen Sandiego and besides me simping for Carmen and losing my mind because Liam voices like 3 characters in it, I realized that his main character in it is called Professor Maelstrom and I don't know what to think about that, just needed to share

Ok so. Carmen Sandeigo season 3.

I mean. It was alright?? I don’t know, I have mixed feelings with this season, and not because it was only five episodes long - I mean, yeah, that part was a let down, but I heard they had issues with budget cuts, so I get it. It just felt like some parts were?? Off?? Idk, here are some of my takes as a writing minor. Spoilers ahead.

- Did something change?? With the writers?? Something about the characters just felt a little skewed, and at some points it felt like they were parodies of their established character. 

- Like, if Zach was kinda one dimensional before he definitely was this season. There was no attempt to give him any kind of personality aside from Dumb Funny Side Character Man. 

- I was sad Julia got sidelined this season, but I think it was a necessary step for her to be able to later be involved with Carmen without ACME holding her back - since she’s putting an art/history degree to use now, it’s very likely Carmen will have to rob the place she works at later on. And, fingers crossed, maybe we can get some JULIA BECOMING A PART OF TEAM RED BAY-BE

- I really appreciated Devineaux coming to his own conclusion about Carmen, that was some good characterization. 

- What was the deal?? With the dialogue?? That’s that only part of the writing I have any problem with. A lot of the lines where Carmen and VILE are doing their usual banter just felt really stiff, and some just didn’t make any sense at all. It felt like they were trying way too hard with some of it, especially with the line “School is going to be cool” being said in a completely serious context was just. Such dogshit writing. 

- Speaking of Sonia (Was that her name??? I don’t remember??) I actually really wasn’t a fan. Like, her character had SO much potential. Her parallels with Carmen and what she could do for the story were so great but. I think it was a combination of bad character writing and bad voice acting that just made the character really stale. A lot of the lines were said with just not the right tone, (i.e. the ‘School is going to be cool’ line, but to be fair there was no saving that line). Idk, I feel like they just threw that character away with how they wrote her. Like, when she saved Carmen on the plane, It was because it was a line she wouldn’t cross, like Carmen said, but it was really kind of out of the blue I guess?? I wish Sonia would’ve been told more about why Carmen was there so she could get a full grasp of what she was getting herself into, and her connection with Carmen would’ve been established more. 

- We stan Shadow-san getting that familial redemption. That episode was the best in the season imo. And NOT just because My Boy was in it (I’ll get to that later). Shadow-san was actually really good this season, I really enjoyed the found family dynamic he has with Carmen and being able to reconcile with his brother. 

- FOUND FAMILY!!!!

- I was surprised at how Halloween based this season was. I see it now that a user pointed it out that it was a way for the writers to use masks as a literal and figurative driving force in the plot, which was actually Really Good so kudos to them.

- Countess Cleo seemed a bit out of character this season. Like, with the scene where they dig into candy she’s straight up eating cheap Halloween candy. Which is. Kind of against everything her character stand for. Indulging in excess fits, but indulging in something that, in her eyes, would be so lower class was really surprising. 

- Also can I talk about the faculty for a sec? I know a lot of people enjoyed the faculty getting really into Halloween but for some reason I didn’t get into it. I feel like a lot of it made the faculty into a kind of comedic relief, which took away from a lot of the threat they’re supposed to have. They didn’t feel intimidating this season, they just felt like they were… There (all except for Roundabout). The dressing up and goofing around felt out of character too. I know it humanizes them a lot, but I feel like an international evil empire isn’t going to put up Halloween decorations, and if they were its going to be Top Of The Line Shit. I feel like going full clown was a little much even for Maelstrom. I feel like they could have gotten the same idea across and it might have even been better if they just gave him a single clown nose on top of his usual attire. It would have made for some (in my opinion) better visual humor. Then again, I have to keep reminding myself that this show is directed at a younger audience and I really shouldn’t be as critical as I am about it given that fact, but they set a really high bar for themselves with season 1. 

- You know now that I think about it the faculty being given some comic relief this season would have been fine if they didn’t drive Zach’s character into the ground for it at the same time. Like, they’re milking Zach for all the not great comic relief they can, and are at the same time trying to do it with the faculty, which just makes everything feel a little campy.

- You know what was great comic relief????

- TIME TO TALK ABOUT THE MAN OF THE HOUR, BOYS.

- LETS TALK ABOUT MIME BOMB. LETS TALK ABOUT MIME BOMB.

- Oh my god. Oh m y go d. This. This guy. When I tell you I laughed at all of Neal and Mime Bombs scenes I am not joking. The dynamic between these two was golden. Just. *Chefs kiss*. 

- Mime Bombs visual humor was fucking outstanding. The miming at the closed window, pretending to untie the boat, just everything he did was so FUCKING GOOD.

- And can we talk about Neal??? Personally I wasn’t a Slime Bomb shipper, but these two were written so well together that I’m actually starting to reconsider. Neal is just so great. He makes every character he’s with all the better, and just has such a great dynamic. 

- FUCK I loved this episode. 

- I love how they made Mime Bomb kinda fugly so they wouldn’t have to deal with the thirst this time around, but y’all FAILED LMAO. 

- I Can And Will Smooch The Mime What About It.

- I like that they didn’t find Carmen’s mom yet. It’s not great how they stop looking after the first episode, but I feel like finding her mom in just 5 episodes would have felt so incredibly rushed. 

- Women wrestling. WOMEN WRESTLING . 

- The final episode was good. You knew Carmen was gonna get out of it somehow but it felt like a nice final episode. It left some good cliffhangers and felt like a nice tie to what was an entirely too short season. Can’t wait to see how ACME handles Gray. 

- I was disappointed some of the OG cast in VILE didn’t get screen time, but it was, again, only 5 episodes, so there really wasn’t anything they could do about it. 

- I am not a fan of The Troll. Like, his character is needed, because eventually VILE would need a natural counter to Player, cause that’s just how things need to play out, but I think he’s going to be a victim of writing. Like, his introduction establishes his ties to internet culture with that glasses drop meme and that in of itself is going to kill this character. Like, I’m so scared he’s going to fall victim to what every show tries to do, and that’s the ‘What’s up fellow cool kids’ (And by that I mean reference internet humor and trends, which will ultimately do nothing but date the show). Like, The Troll has SO MUCH POTENTIAL. WE’VE NEEDED AN EVIL COUNTER TO PLAYER FOR A WHILE NOW BUT DON’T MAKE THAT COUNTER PART A GUY WHO TALKS LIKE HE’S FROM R/INCELS. 

- With all that being said, I really do still care for the show. I was lowkey disappointed with this season but I look forward to seeing what they do in the future and still hold a lot of love for this show in my heart. Fingers crossed for another season!!!

- Knowing Bellum she probably directly taked you as some laboratory prove subject

- He is worried for you in most of his capers when this period of time happens, Bellum can literally make people forgot about their whole life if she want, who knows what she can make to someone like you

- If she maked some more weird thing like, directly proving a new machine on you he will try his best to comfort you, silly puns can be the best solution to being in the same room that a mad scientifique for like 1 week sometimes

May I request headcanons for being a vile student who tries to mask their intelligence in order to not antagonize the other students and Malestrom and Bellum become aware of it?

Of course!

- you were intelligent, of course, that's one of the reason why Bellum choosed you to be one of VILE's new students

- But that same intelligence maked you realize that probably no one in this island wanted to be the shadow of you, that's why you choosed to mask it

- Bellum was surprised when she noticed that you were acting more off-place in classes, nothing like you showed in that so detailed plan she asked you to do before asking if you wanted to join

- Bellum didn't understand why you wanted to mask your powerful mind, but Maelstrom did

- From the start he noticed how you tried to mask it, he knows a lot about psychology so it was not that hard at least for him

- While Bellum tried to ask you to answer more hard questions and do more experiments or try to do machines to make you get out of your shell

- Maelstrom maked tests to you, with or without you knowing, showing you pictures of black ink or observing you react to different situations in daily life

- You often saw how prideful many students were, you didn't want to hurt their feelings because they didn't knew an answer

- or even get into a fight, it was no very difficult to get into a fight by how aggresive some students and operators were

- Bellum often talked about how your potential was going to the trash and Maelstrom agreed with it

- the both of them often tried to put you on many situations, trying to get your potential glow

- and with Maelstrom's persuation and Bellum's intelligence it's sure that more that one time you getted off of your shell

- So, a new instructor at V.I.L.E? interesing

- She was in a caper for ruining vile's plans again

- It was a valuable piece of a mineral that was hard to find, she knew thanks to Player than a instructor was coming to the caper

- But she got surprised when she saw one of her old classmates at the side of a completly new face

- She quikly assumed you were a new instructor, she could tell by your clothes and how the other was following your orders orders which you strangely didn't say with that much security...

- you knew her because of the other vile instructors and operators and the moment you recognised her, you become a little panicked out

- what the rest of the faculty could think of you if you lossed the opportunity for catch Carmen Sandiego? What woul you students think of you if that happend?

- it was obvious for Carmen that you were anxious and when the operator that was with you got distracted by Ivy and Zack, she started a conversation with you

- "so you're the replace for Shadowsan? You don't seem quite secure of your job in VILE now" all started with that and then somehow you got less anxious thanks to it, she was friendly, nothing like the caper-ruiner everyone maked you think

- maybe she could make you change to the Red side...

Julia Argent

- You were a little more longer giving classes in the university that Julia, actually you two got to know eachother thanks to that

- she was nerveous to do classes, you were nerveous to classes, you two understanded eachother well

- Julia and you became friends fastly, you two supported eachother and had confidence in eachother

- and maybe that was why you became aware of she working in ACME more fastly that one could expect

- well, it was more a slip but anyway, let's go back to the main subject

- She often helped you with preparing your classes, even with all the drama in her life

- Julia listened to you, acting like one of your students so maybe you could be less anxious the next time you did your classes

- She's really supporting with you, she someties listen to your classes so she can tell you which things you did great and maybe have a conversation theme

Professor Gunnar Maelstrom

- He knows

- He knew from the first time you started giving classes

- Maelstrom saw you giving classes the first day, all of telled him that you were insecure, anxious, even

- you sure were passionate about your subject!, but there was something stopping you

- it turned into routine enter to his office, answer a few questions he maded to you, see the strange pictures with black ink and then go

- he was gonna make sure you start show more confidence in yourself so you could be better as instructor

- You were something like a substitute in VILE, making classes to the young criminals when Bellum was busy making some experiment or machine (that was like 80% of the time)

- Black Sheep knew you since she was a child, she saw your classes and how did you care about your students, trying to do the best for them

- She wished that someday she became one of them, not only for you but because she was excited for become a student

- You were there when Black sheep talked with the VILE faculty to enter as a student, even when you didn't vote in that, she knew you supported her

- She had her first classes with Bellum but when you showed in the classroom one time she was excited

- excited to listen of what you knew, but when you started to talk she was worried, why you sounded insecure of what you were saying?

- She quickly became aware of what was gonna happening to you, and tried to help with that

May I request a story with the adult female reader being an unwilling instructor at vile for chemistry and physics and both Malestrom and Roundabout fall for her? Also the reader really liking everyone there but having trouble due to being a very morally good person?

Of course! I have some troubles with Roundabout's and Maelstrom's personality so I will do my best

Warnings: slight angst maybe, I also probably taked a little much creativity liberties with Reader's little backstory, I AM SORRY BUT I FEEL LIKE THIS IS A LITTLE YANDERE FOR MAELSTROM...

You are a instructor in VILE, you used to be a scientist, of course, USED to be. You didn't even knew how you ended in this place, using the place of a ninja in a table full of criminals, you helped them before tought, of course with the wish of finding a better job, the sweet sound of the promise they filled your ears with.

You loved your students! Truly, but you didn't really knew if they truly respected you and not just tried to pretend they did only because everytime they opened the doors of the faculty room, you were there, your eyes curious about why they wanted to talk to the rest of the faculty, criminals who wanted this, and maybe to you too, the one who didn't even asked for something for the operatives to steal, not even the most priceless thing was stealed by them to give it to you. Maybe that personality and moral was what attracted Gunnar to you, he watched every move you maded since you started helping VILE even before Shadowsan left, how you tried your best to look the 'kind' part of all this, how you almost hissed to yourself after making the most slight of bad things, you were a kind soul, trying to understand him, listen to him and his rants about psychology and marine life, this wasn't a place for someone like you and he perfectly knew that but it was better protecting you about the bad comments of some persons because of your morals and having you at his side when a 'rival' appeared.

Roundabout falled for you more faster that you could expect probably, he appreciated your kind and caring soul in this asociation full of criminales and he showed it, taking you to his country and giving you cute and fancy things to wear, you didn't have to know than that piece of jewelry was the propiety of some rich person before you used it tought... Not when you used it so happily thinking it was something buyed by your dear friend while you two drinked tea.

Maelstrom is experienced with the human mind so it's not really a surprise when he realized Roundabout was in love with you even before Roundabout himself realized it.

You were sitting with Roundabout, enjoying the wind of the afternoon "Thank you Roundabout, I loved this ring" you said with a genuine smile in your lips "It's nothing my dear, really" he said with a lovestruck smile before hearing your phone gived my VILE ring "Oh sorry, I have to attend this" you said, putting your cup in the table again before clicking the accept button, being received by Maelstrom's voice "-code name- we need you here the faster posible" Gunnar said, hidding any signs of his crush in you "Of course, I will be there" you answered him before getting off of the call and putting it in your pocket "Sorry, I think I couldn't finish my tea, I have to go now" you said with a sorry face "It's ok, we can do this another day, I can acompay you if you wish tho" "I would love that" and with that you two waited for the helicopter to come, he guesses the roses will have to wait for next time.

You arrived and Gunnar was waiting for you in his room "Oh, sorry Roundabout I don't think I called you too" He said in a passive-Aggresive tone, Roundabout looked at him with a slight angry face before closing the door "Sorry for interrupting your rest, I think the meeting canceled just before you arrived the isle" he said in a false sorry tone, why should be he sad too? This just means more time with you without being interrupted "Do you want to listen more about sea creatures? I have a presentation already maked, maybe you can find your new favorite animal" He said in a slightly sweet tone, Brunt, Cleo and Bellum will have to wait for you two for a while.
