Meet "Pyro."

The most mysterious student in all of MANN High and Sixth form, this year 11 student is one of the most intriguing and caring people in the whole school. They're well-known (Mainly due to the mask) but not much is known about them, not even their name or gender or their intentions, however just by watching them a bit it's obvious that their intentions are never malicious, often trying to help anyone that they can. This attitude of theirs got them the role of Head Prefect in MANN High, along with Dell Conagher, a very close friend of "Pyro's", before he went missing. Being a head prefect means being in some meetings, and talking in said meetings which is an impossible task for the mute student.

This specific meeting was about the Mr. Jones incident. Sat in on it was Mr. Mann, Miss. Mann, Mr. Angelo, two of the governors and the one remaining Head Prefect. Everyone else in the meeting were parents, who saw the teacher-on-pupil fight. Halfway through the meeting, Mr Mann remembered that "Pyro" could not talk and honestly had no business being there, so "Pyro" was sent out, being told to send in any old senior prefect who was in their next lesson. "Pyro" didn't send in another senior prefect as waiting outside of the meeting room were two of their old friend, Jane and Pauling.

Pauling explained that she and Jane were trying to find out where Dell was, and asked if Pyro would be interested in joining the pair, to which Pyro thoroughly agreed.

Jane 'Soldier' Doe: Neither of the pair talk to each other much (Mainly due to the fact that Jane doesn't know ASL), however Dell mentions that 'Pyro' would like to become better friends with Jane.

Jeremy 'Scout' Sullivan: You would never expect it, however they're close, mainly bonding over art, and using paper to communicate.

Tavish 'Demo' Degroot: With a shared affinity for things that get very hot very fast, its easy to see why this pair are friends.

Mikhail 'Heavy' Ivanov: If you asked "Pyro", they would probably sign that they were friends, whereas with Mikhail, the only answer you'd be getting is "That thing scares me."

Dell 'Engie' Conagher: One of the best friendships in the school, except for maybe Jane and Tavish. They met in year 8 (the year Dell and his brother moved to England). "Pyro" hearing about this American student decided to talk to the student, with hopes that he knew. ASL. And as if all the stars had aligned at that moment, Dell knew it.

Ludwig 'Doc' Koch: Ludwig can't understand a single thing about them, and that's what makes him want to try.

Mun-dee 'Sniper' Mundy: Neither of them have talked, however just by their looks, Mun-dee is rather nervous around "Pyro."

?? 'Spy' ??: "Pyro" always knows where he is, which freaks "Spy" out more than the whole faceless person thing.

?? Pauling: They have a similar relationship wih "Miss" Pauling and Jane. Unexpectedly close.

the newest member of the astral express's crew; a young person who, after a series of events, decided to travel with them, though they don't worship nor follow any aeons on their own, including akivili. easy to anger and - in most cases - just as quick to forgive, emile took on the role of the train's mechanic, hoping to make use of their non-combat skills due to their rather poor health. they suffer from a condition caused by the stellaron, which causes them to experience frequent fevers, body pains and nausea. despite that, they don't lack enthusiasm and eagerness to do things, much to the other crew members' dismay as it often leads to emile overworking themself.

emile is a person who feels a lot, and feels intensely, not giving much thought to their words or actions when they're under the influence of strong emotions. similarly, they wouldn't hesitate to throw their life on the line when it comes to protecting those they consider friends or family. in battle, they often go all-in, to the point of overusing their fire-controlling abilities and exhausting their body.

once distrustful and extremely cautious about each stranger they met, after spending some time on the astral express emile seems to have changed, starting to become much more extroverted in contacts with new people, though still with a healthy dose of caution. as open as they are about certain topics, they're extremely closed off about others, and no amount of prying will make them talk about these particular things. they are also used to 'powering through' any hardships they may encounter, and so, they attempt to brush off or bottle up anything that's troubling them.
