Might write a Stan actor oneshot at some point once summer starts because it just hit me that this summer is the last year I’ll be an actress for my theater company, the one I’ve been with for seven going on eight years and I find it absolutely insane. Like…I’ll be a fucking director of some sort next year which is INSANE. And idk I feel like my feelings towards this are very ugly sentimental and Stan Marsh coded lmfaoo

⋆。°✩South Park High School AU Headcanons⋆。°✩
Mainly written to get out of my writers block lmaoo. This is a guide to all my headcanons in my “Be Nice to Me” fanfic
⋆。°✩ Kyle Broflovski:
6'2”. Tall with lean muscle. Ginger with emerald green eyes and light freckles. Very curly hair with trimmed sides.
Juggles the debate club, basketball team, student council, and too many AP classes to count.
The first to get his driver's license out of the main 4 + Leopold.
His parents got him a car for his birthday for doing so well academically.
Works and volunteers during the summer.
Gets into detention often due to Cartman baiting him into fights.
Has gotten benched multiple times for playing too aggressively in basketball games when instigated by rival teams.
Has a tight knit study group with Wendy, Tolkien, and Nichole.
They help each other out with their AP classes but also consider each other rivals, trying to beat the other for the title of valedictorian.
Very good at first person shooters, often out performing Cartman.
Knows how to build a PC.
Learned how to program in his free time.
Spends time with his family and has a close relationship with Ike.
Knows Cartman’s schedule better than Cartman himself
Begrudgingly gives Cartman rides to school sometimes. Will leave him if he takes too long though.
⋆。°✩Eric Cartman:
5'10”. Big, bulky build. A lot of arm muscle + big belly. Soft chestnut brunette hair. Dark reddish brown eyes. Thick eyebrows.
Is both on the football and hockey teams. He likes to use both sports as an excuse to be a major asshole towards others and uses his size to his advantage.
In the board games club. Argues with Nichole a lot for leadership.
Has a hard time studying and paying attention due to ADHD.
Does enough school work to pass. Thinks school is pointless and a big scam.
Would much rather play video games or watch TV instead of school work.
Unfortunately, to his Spanish teacher's demise, outperforms others in Spanish class.
Prefers first person shooters but also loves dress up games. Would kill anyone that found out.
Will trash talk your mom but if someone trash talks his mom he WILL dox them.
Loves reality tv. Big fan of RuPaul's drag race, Love is Blind, the Real Housewives.
Is a menace on reddit.
Has gotten his account reported many times on reddit, discord, and twitter.
Planning to major in business or finance in college.
The last of the main 4 + Leopold(Butters) to learn how to drive. Was genuinely too lazy and constantly bummed rides off the others anyway, specially Kyle.
⋆。°✩Stan Marsh:
5'11”. Average build. Straight dark black hair. Wears a beanie often since his hair gets oily fast. Dark blue eyes.
Stan loves writing and listening to music. He's very big into metal, rock, and Midwest emo right now.
His extracurriculars are football and the board game club.
He volunteers at animal shelters in his free time and fundraisers for the environment.
He's an average student, usually getting Bs and Cs, and a D if he doesn't study enough.
He's terrible at multitasking. He's a very forgetful person.
Wendy and Kyle constantly have to remind him about deadlines and big projects.
On his 16th birthday, his dad gave him his old pick up truck.
Tolkien comes over often and they do homework together. He helps Stan with math a lot.
Stan and Kyle still consider themselves best friends even if they don't live right next door.
Crimson Dawn meets up often, practicing at Stan's since they can be as loud as they want there.
Sometimes friends like Kyle, Wendy, Timmy, and Tolkien come over to just hang out with the others and watch the band practice.
Stan and Wendy have been off and on since elementary school. It's obvious when they're not dating since Stan sometimes relapses back into his goth phase.
Stan and Tolkien have hooked up on a few occasions when Stan and Wendy broke up.
Tolkien has also dated Wendy on more than one occasion.
Stan is the type of kid that casually gets along with every “clique” in school since he doesn't really have beef with anyone. He's a very chill guy who often reacts pretty indifferently to most things.
⋆。°✩Kenny Mccormick:
5’8”. Very skinny, mainly due to a poor diet. Wavy dirty blonde hair, tends to grow it out or cuts it short depending on his mood. Purple eyes. Front tooth gap.
Kenny's been working overtime while attending school since middle school. He gets paid under the table for most of it.
He saved up just enough to buy a really run down, beat up, used car. It's a stick shift and requires a ton of repairs.
He learned a lot about mechanics in order to save money and not have to take it anywhere to get fixed.
He learned how to drive stick shift and how to fix a car through YouTube.
He takes and picks up Karen from school. He also pays for all of her school supplies and encourages her to pick up extracurriculars.
Kenny doesn't have to study in order to get good grades in school. He barely has to do his homework either. As long as he listens to the lectures and skims through the material, he’ll pass. If he didn’t work overtime then he would be highly ranked in their year.
Kenny barely sleeps 4 hours a day. 5 on a good day.
He plans to keep working at the same pace and go to a trade school. Once he is more settled and his sister is an adult able to stand on her own, he might go back to school but he doesn't really stress about it and prefers living day by day then worrying about the future.
⋆。°✩Leopold Butters Scotch:
5’9”. Lanky. Light blonde hair and sky blue eyes.
Works while attending school. Is very good at saving money.
Bought his own car at 16. Very safe driver with the occasional outburst of road rage.
Bought his own gaming PC. It's Hello Kitty themed. His favorite games are Animal Crossing and Hello Kitty Island Adventure.
Does very well in school.
Tutors others in his free time.
Volunteers to read for preschoolers at the community library.
Works as a summer camp counselor during the summers.
Cartman copies his homework when he isn't looking.
Part of the Board Game club and the Cheerleading squad.
Still gets grounded by his parents a lot but plans to live in College dorms soon.
Misc.
⋆。°✩Clyde is part of the football team and basketball team. Sports are his bread and butter. He doesn't do well academically. Cry baby. Is on and off with Bebe.
⋆。°✩Craig is captain of the space club. Wants to become an astronaut. Has been consistently dating Tweek ever since getting shipped by the Asian girls.
⋆。°✩Tweek works at his dad's coffee shop while attending school. It has become a bit of a hub for the kids to hang out so it's doing well and he gets paid well. Is great at saving money. Loves playing DnD and really gets into character. Attends the space club with Craig.
⋆。°✩Tolkien is a star student. Plays basketball, football, and is in the student council. Has dated Nichole, Wendy, Stan, and Clyde. None of his relationships ever end poorly. Is friendly with everyone. Is arguably the most popular, well liked kid in school.
⋆。°✩Bebe is bisexual and has dated a few of the girls when off with Clyde. Clyde has no game however and barely dates anyone when they are broken up. She's part of cheerleading, volleyball, and the yearbook club. She's a minor influencer online, focusing on fashion, beauty, feminism, and human rights.
⋆。°✩Wendy and Kyle constantly compete for valedictorian. She's captain of the debate team, cheerleading squad (Bebe vice captain), and volleyball team (Nichole vice captain). Stan and her have almost consistently dated with some hiccups here and there. They don't break up as often as Clyde and Bebe but when they have, she's dated Tolkien and Bebe briefly. She volunteers in a multitude of different organizations and feels very passionate about every cause she takes up. Has a substantial following on Twitter where she's very vocal about her beliefs.

I just read the black!shy!reader for Kyle and I was wondering if you could do the same thing for Stan please😓
Hello! This might be long but I got a lot of inspo and just started writing! Sorry this took me a while- I've been working through requests! I hope you enjoy it!
Spanish translation by @glitterycollectivestudent here on wattpad
Summary: Stan meets Tolkien's cousin who's visiting for the summer and cannot help getting distracted. With the day's ticking down, he starts to feel the pressure to say something
A/n: Might've romanticized Stan a bit and he might be ooc but honestly I don't care, I just want some pure Stan fluff because he deserves it!
Summer Distractions- Stan Marsh x Shy!Black!Reader
Heat bore down on the young man who was currently working on cleaning up a small patch of land, his broad shoulders sore from digging up the rocks his father had been too lazy to do himself. Stan Marsh wiped the sweat from his brow, leaning against his shovel in exhaustion. This had to be the worst luck he could’ve had.
Originally, this summer was going to be one for the books, him and his best friend taking his beat up car and road tripping to wherever they pleased, enjoying the summer days of their youth. It was supposed to be freeing and filled with excitement, but fate had other plans. Kyle had been accepted into an internship program, a rather important one, that led him to spending the next few months in Denver while Randy Marsh had his own designs on his son.
At some point in the last few weeks, Stan’s dad had gotten it into his head about leaving a legacy and decided it was time to teach his son the ropes. To Stan’s displeasure this mainly meant doing the work none of his father’s few employees wanted to do, and to make it worse he certainly wasn’t getting paid as much. He did…love his dad, in a detached sort of way, but the man could be a bit dense at times, thinking that all this was somehow considered ‘bonding time.’ Now his summer of fun was becoming the most boring one in his life. At least until a shiny black car pulled up to the Black residence across the way.
Tolkien had apparently chosen to stay on the farm, and being the only two of their peers this far out of town occasionally came over to have lunch and chat. It was nothing serious or overly friendly, the two were never very close, but isolation at times bred a sort of camaraderie between the boys. Seeing the black SUV drive away, Stan was only a little curious as to what or who paid his sort-of-friend a visit.
Getting back to it, Stan continued his work, cursing as his muscles ached with each strike of his shovel. One thing he could say about the work is that it was great exercise and that when he focused on it the time flew by. When he heard steps approaching he glanced up, surprised to see that the sun had changed its position, falling more towards the west. As footfalls slowed and voices sounded, Stan could clearly hear Tolkien Black talking to someone. Coming into view, he saw that someone was you.
“And this is Stan, that guy I was telling you about, Tolkien had been casually gesturing around, his voice jovial as he walked beside you, “Stan! Come here for a minute!”
Stabbing his shovel down, he trekked the small hill to the fenceline, getting a better look at the stranger his classmate brought along. With hair pulled back into a puff at the back of your head, Stan felt himself blush at the pretty girl in front of him. Both you and Tolkien were dressed much more nicely than himself, drawing his attention to how haggard he must’ve looked working out in the heat all day.
“This is my cousin, Y/N. She’s visiting for the summer so I wanted to show her around a bit,” slinging an arm around your shoulder, he brought you forward making you squeak.
“H-hi,” stuttering, you tried to make friendly eye contact only to have your gaze shift itself downwards at the dirt. When your cousin mentioned a friend living next door, or as close to next door as one could get out here, you certainly weren’t expecting to see someone like him. He was far more rough looking than any of the boys you had been around back home, smudges of dirt not only on his clothes but smeared across patches of skin as well. He looked strong and oh so very cute.
“Hey, it’s a pleasure to meet you Y/N. I’d shake your hand but uh, I don’t want to get you dirty or anything.” Stan chuckled nervously, rubbing his dirt strewn hands on his jeans. It wasn’t helping anything but he couldn’t help feeling a bit self conscious. It wasn’t every day a pretty girl made their way to his family’s farm, especially one that made his stomach twist anxiously like that.
“Well man, I’m going to get her back but you might see us around! Don’t hesitate to say hi!” Turning, Tolkien led you away talking more about different things you’d be doing during your stay. Stan started to feel himself grow disappointed. It was so quick it’s not like he would’ve been able to impress you or anything, but at least he could’ve made a more impactful impression. Wiping a hand across his face, he went back to work, hoping that perhaps he might see you again and soon.
And soon it was. Two days later he had been pulling weeks along the fenceline, a wheelbarrow full of unwanted plants sitting behind him as he sat on his knees with work gloves on. Stan was thankful this wasn’t as labor intensive as some of the other odd jobs he’d been given, but it was still boring as hell, and already in the early hours of working had his shirt been plastered to his body with the sweat he shed. As time went by he had made quite a bit of progress, making a mental note to tell Randy about some rotten fence posts knowing it would be his job eventually anyway. Just like before, he stopped as he heard steps coming toward him from the road, the sound dull against the dirt.
You stood there pretty as could be, a small camera hung around your neck as you peered meekly at him on the other side of the fence. Today you were dressed a bit more like him, jeans and a plain shirt, but on you it looked far better than he could ever pull off.
“Hey Y/N, what brings you over here?” He swallowed thickly. It had been a long time since anyone made him feel as nervous as this, and it didn’t bode well if he was going to have to deal with it all summer long.
“O-Oh! Tolkien said that you might not mind if I took some pictures?” The question was punctuated with a small lift of your camera. “I just thought some of the land looked really pretty…If it’s not okay I can leave.”
“No!” Stan's voice came out a little louder than intended, making you jump. Panicking, he quickly tried again. “No, sorry, it’s perfectly okay. Don’t go.”
Slowly, you nodded, eyes darting around to everything but him. Goddammit, he thought, play it fucking cool, Stanley.
“So…you’re visiting.” Stan stood and nearly cringed. Of course she’s visiting dumbass, they told you that yesterday!
“Yeah, my parents are away on a big trip and Aunt Linda offered to let me stay here.” your voice was so quiet Stan had to lean toward you a bit to properly hear you. You gulped, noticing the way his shirt was practically hugging the muscles of his chest and arms. “I t-told them they didn’t have to trouble themselves.”
“Well, I’m sure it’d be pretty dull just being by yourself all summer,” Stan should know as he felt that had already been his fate.
“Y-yeah, I guess.” Tolkien hadn’t said much about Stan, but it was apparent how kind he was at least to be talking to some stranger. You felt heat spread through your face with the thought that maybe he wasn’t this kind to all strangers, perhaps just to you.
Stan however, was feeling a little pink being so close to you. He had been leaning down on the fence and actually hearing that lovely little voice was doing things to him. It didn’t help that you were so beautiful on top of it all. He had sweet-talked girls in the past, getting some lucky kisses at parties, but talking to you he felt silly, like his tongue was purposely sabotaging him. This wouldn’t do, so he leaned just a little farther.
“Besides, we don’t get girls as pretty as-” Suddenly the wood board holding him up fell out from under him, causing Stan to stumble forward and onto the ground. With an oomph! he was sprawled, the wood underneath his body uncomfortable.
“Are you alright?!” you seemed a bit frantic, looming over the boy and attempting to see if there was any serious injury.
“I-I’m fine! Don’t worry about it!” Stanley cursed whatever was going on with him as he brought himself back up to his knees. “Just some rotting wood, it’s my fault for not noticing.” Sheepishly he smiled up at you, hoping to quell the panic he heard in your voice.
“Are you sure?” With a feather light touch you brought a gentle hand to his head, brushing the black hair back. Somehow he had procured a small scratch on his head during the tumble that to your relief, was not actively bleeding.
Stan couldn’t breathe. Not with you so close and touching him so softly. It was as if a small shock came from that simple touch, spreading from his forehead, down through his torso, and eventually to his feet. It was a pleasant buzz that made him so incredibly nervous.
“I’m okay,” with a shaky grin Stan stood, placing a bit of space between the two of you. “Um…but I wasn’t kidding. You’re welcome to take any pictures you want.”
“...Could I talk to you as well? I-if you’re not too busy?” Anxiety clinched in your stomach as you asked. This was bold for you, but something about Stan made your heart race in a way that for once you actually liked.
“...I’d like that,” Stan stood there looking at you with a curious look in his eye. “I’ll uh, see you around Y/N.”
The second you were out of sight Stan turned and vomited directly into the wheelbarrow full of weeds. Oh this was definitely going to be a long, long summer.
____
You had come by often to Stan’s surprise and pleasure. He honestly didn’t see what was so photogenic about the farm, or the land surrounding it. Sure, a photo of some trees looked nice, but he couldn’t quite understand how one could see much more than that. He wasn’t going to complain about his present company though.
You would sometimes find him, a shy apologetic smile on your face as you ‘interrupted’ his work. Stan couldn’t find any fault with this sort of distraction, and happily sat in the quiet atmosphere that followed you. It was calming and Stan found himself not really caring about missing his once exciting dreams of summer vacation.
At times you would talk, small snippets here and there that normally he initiated. With every interest, every hobby, every favorite thing of yours he discovered, he fell deeper and deeper into his feelings for you. It was a little startling at first, most of the girls he entertained were loud and outspoken, all of which you were not.
And that was more than fine with him. He liked those small smiles filled with warmth when he was able to get them out of you. He liked how your eyes strayed away from him quickly when he caught you staring. Stan liked you.
And somehow you seemed to enjoy his company even though he kept mucking things up. He had tried looking manly in front of you once, chopping up some discarded wood his dad insisted on saving. His once even strokes of the axe were now clumsy and uncoordinated, looking like a ten year old did the job.
Another time he attempted to flatter you with some lunch using an old picnic basket of his mom’s. You popped up right as he began chasing his dog, the mutt's mouth smeared with bits of food. In moments Stan had tripped and face planted directly into a puddle of mud.
Each time though you just giggled, the sound chiming in his ears like bells and making him flush. He thanked god he could blame that on the heat, but part of him relished in the fact that he could at least make you laugh.
He lost count of how often he had to run off to empty the contents of his stomach, nerves sometimes becoming too great to hold in. The poor boy had to keep a stash of snacks with him in hopes that he wasn’t actually making himself sick, but it didn’t seem so bad if he could still spend time with you.
Today though, Stan was distracted. You had been taking pictures of the barn cats, tufts of fur playfully tumbling around in the hay. Observing you was something he felt he could do all day, easily. It brought out things he normally didn’t notice with the small glances he normally gave you.
He could clearly see the resemblance you had to Tolkien. Both of you shared the same sloped nose and the same chin, indicating a strong vein of genes. Had he not known Tolkien for most of his life, Stan would’ve taken the two of you for siblings. There was one key difference he had noticed.
Tolkien's eyes were sharp, constantly seeing and analyzing everything around him. It was intimidating at times, honestly. Yours, however, were wide and expressive, reminding him of the doe he and his Uncle Jimbo would see at the cabin those spring mornings years ago. As a kid he would sit and watch her for as long as she’d let him, eyes following her every move. You carried yourself with the same subtle grace, wary but careful, intentional even. Just like that doe from a lifetime ago, his eyes were drawn to you.
___
That evening Stan couldn’t sleep. Everytime his eyes closed, all he saw were images of you. You crouched down with a camera in your hand. You giggling at something stupid he accidentally let slip. You giving him that shy smile that made his stomach flip flop all over the place. All the while summer was moving onward and eventually you would be going home, him becoming some memory for you.
He hated that thought.
He had only just made it within sight of the Black residence when he realized how crazy he looked. It was one in the morning, all the lights in the house off, and he was standing outside in his pajamas.  He was a child the last time he stood outside someone’s house with a boombox, and now he was too old for such childish antics.
This was insane. But the thought that he’d let this little thing slip through his fingers was going to drive him mad if he didn’t do something. Taking a small pebble, he threw it at the window he hoped was yours. He hadn’t explored the house very much, only at a few of the house parties he attended, but he knew this was one of the nicer guestrooms.
It took three before a lamp blipped on, the light shining down at an angle onto Stan. With bated breath, he waited.
“Stan?” you whisper shouted down at the dark haired boy, shock evident on your face. With a smile, Stan felt his confidence surge. “What are you doing here?”
“To see you?” He tried to loudly whisper back, but felt foolish. He wanted to see you, to be near you. Why in the hell was he doing that from down here. His eyes catching the trellis situated on the side of the house, he made quick work of running over and clamoring onto it. He was no longer that spindly teenage boy that could crawl, hike, and climb with ease, but he still made it onto the slanted roof of the porch and up to your open window. With a soft voice he breathed a quiet “hey.”
“Hi,” you whispered, eyes wide. “You…I could’ve just come downstairs.”
“I know, this is more my speed, though,” with a cheeky smile, he leaned closer. “I…I’ve been fumbling a lot of things lately and-and I don’t want you to go back home not knowing how I feel.”
“I’m still here for about a month, Stan,” giggling nervously, you tried to back away only for his hand to grab yours.
“I know but I want to spend that month knowing you’re mine,” gently, he tugged you towards him, “I cannot get you out of my head, Y/N. I cannot continue to spend every day with you not knowing that.”
“Stan…I-”
“Please tell me I wasn’t the only one feeling like this.”
With pleading eyes, Stan kept his hand on yours. Your mind was blank, not ever believing that this sort of situation would happen to a girl like you. You were quiet and kept to yourself. Boys didn’t do big romantic confessions, much less notice you. Hell, even Tolkien, your cousin, sometimes forgot you were around from how meek you were.
But then there’s Stan. He didn’t have to let you hang around him and disrupt his work. He didn’t have to talk to you or spend time with you. But he did. And he felt so much for you that he climbed the side of the damn house to tell you that. You took a few shaky breaths, struggling to keep your eyes on his.
“...You’re not the only one.”
With that Stan gave one small tug, bringing your lips down to his. It was a short kiss but was filled with desire and longing, things you had only read about in books. When he pulled away Stan looked dazed, his eyes hazy as he looked at you.
“I really like you-” and without any indication that it was going to happen, Stan promptly turned his head and vomited on the roof tiles next to him.
Stan couldn’t keep the large grin from his face the next day as you sat your pretty little self on the fence, watching him work the morning sun away. It wasn’t really any different than the rest of the summer had been with you, but it felt different. Now you were his and that made all the difference to him.
“Hey, Marsh?” Tolkien’s voice popped the lovely little bubble you both had been in, and Stan found himself face to face with an angry young man. “Want to explain to me why there’s puke underneath my window?”

MIKE PARKINSON/PAUL DeMARINIS QUINTET with Carolbeth True, Willem von Hombracht, and Kevin Gianino, FIRST CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH OF WEBSTER GROVES, 30 MARCH 2025
This benefit for the International Summer Jazz Academy in Krakow and St Louis Polonia brought together players I’ve seen often over the years at Webster University Jazz Faculty Concerts. MIKE PARKINSON was the chair of the Music Department and PAUL DeMARINIS ran the jazz program until he retired the summer before I did. Mike and I swapped puns and unraveled administrative puzzles; Paul answered my questions which mixed enthusiasm, naïveté, and quirky knowledge while curating performances with an attractive easy scholarship. Both are wonderful players, though I was on the fringes of the music when Mike was around and stuck in a Miles Davis is the only trumpeter phase. Mike cherishes Miles too but he has his own voice. With Paul, but also pianists like Carolbeth True today and Kim Portnoy, I often have wondered how they juggled their own styles with demonstrating the work of others. If the program has tunes associated with Cannonball Adderly, Sonny Rollins, and Stan Getz, how did they evoke those giants and sound like themselves?
This time around—and with ears with lots of stream time behind them—at least with Paul I think I heard more of his own style. He has expressed admiration for Lee Konitz, so on the Lee Tristano All The Things You Are contrafact Ablution I heard Konitz/Warne Marsh and he, at least, stuck with the Tristano melody longer than Mike and Carolbeth who were more recognizably around ATTYA. In other places, he was feathery and lithe. The closer, Kenny Barron’s Voyage, was first recorded with Stan Getz and that fits.
The title of the program was (Some of) Our Favorite Things with the premise that each player would choose two tunes. They didn’t get to Willem’s I Fall In Love Too Easily and Mike’s Intuition. But Carolbeth started with You Stepped Out of a Dream in an arrangement from her trio days, but with the horns too adding an extra measure or two—and engaging in a nice conversation in the outro. Her version of Nobody Else But Me came from an arrangement she picked up on the bandstand from Buddy DeFranco and was for the trio. Paul added the Tristano Ablution/ATTYA and Herbie Hancock’s Dolphin Dance which was both rich and ethereal. This was where I started to think about how, in retirement, they could just play and not pedagogically evoke the past (though the great thing about this music is that there is a tradition everyone is aware of and responding too). Concretely, that meant that on Dolphin Dance Paul was NOT Dexter Gordon from the album. Willem called Monk’s Hackensack to close the first set.
I got to talk to Paul, Mike, and Carolbeth at the interval (and Willem and Kevin briefly after). I’m glad we all had that time, but it meant that the second half had to be truncated. So Mike chose Quiet Nights for both Miles with Gil Evans and a Kenny Wheeler arrangement which took it as a waltz. Then it was Kevin’s tunes to close—Stella By Starlight as a samba and the Kenny Barron tune with a tight focused drum solo to boot.
I would have gone to The Friends of Chamber Music series at Eliot Chapel, but jazz won out (and I can see a stream of that performance). I brought greetings from the co-organizer of that series Bob Chamberlin who used to swap puns with Mike in the Webster Music Building. Here’s the gist of theone he had for Bob and me: The inventor of throat lozenges was cremated so there would be no coughin’ at the funeral.

South Park is an American animated sitcom created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, and developed by Brian Graden for Comedy Central. The series revolves around four boys—Stan Marsh, Kyle Broflovski, Eric Cartman, and Kenny McCormick—and their exploits in and around the titular Colorado town. South Park also features many recurring characters. The series became infamous for its profanity and dark, surreal humor that satirizes a large range of subject matter.
Parker and Stone developed South Park from two animated short films, both titled The Spirit of Christmas, released in 1992 and 1995. The second short became one of the first Internet viral videos, leading to the series' production. The pilot episode was produced using cutout animation; the remainder of the series uses computer animation recalling the prior technique. Since the fourth season, episodes are generally written and produced during the week preceding its broadcast, with Parker serving as the lead writer and director.
Since its debut on August 13, 1997, 328 episodes of South Park have been broadcast. It debuted with great success, consistently earning the highest ratings of any basic cable program. Subsequent ratings have varied, but it remains one of Comedy Central's longest-running programs. In August 2021, South Park was renewed through 2027, and a series of television specials was announced for Paramount+, the first two of which were released later that year.[2][3] In October 2019, it was announced that WarnerMedia acquired exclusive streaming rights to South Park starting in June 2020 for HBO Max.[4] The series' twenty-sixth season premiered on February 8, 2023.[5]
South Park has received critical acclaim, and is included in various publications' lists of the greatest television shows. It has received numerous accolades, including five Primetime Emmy Awards and a Peabody Award. A theatrical film, South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut, was released in June 1999 to commercial and critical success, garnering an Academy Award nomination. In 2013, TV Guide ranked South Park the tenth Greatest TV Cartoon of All Time.[6]

Super Prototype
Some wholesome YukiKasu wedding fluff, but also a blatant parody of the Top Gear episode where Captain Slow take the Veyron to 407 kmph, featuring three 765PRO idols and Touma as Stan's friends. A repost of the original crack work I wrote and posted on AO3, inspired by T-Square's Knight's Song (basically the Gran Turismo anthem Moon Over The Castle but it's a jazz fusion track; from the 2012 album "Niji no Uta ~T-SQUARE plays T & THE SQUARE Special~"). Read the original piece on AO3 for more details.
Wordcount: 3096 (this may be subjected to change later on)
Summary: Yukina Minato never thought that day would came, yet here she is, about to tie the knot with her beloved Kasumi Toyama; except, not really. It's actually just Stan Marsh achieving a form of Buddhist enlightenment at 400 kmph in his lightweight Ultima Evolution (equipped with a twin-turbo Ford Coyote V8 and inspired by the Group C prototype racers of old a la the Porsche 956 and 962, Jaguar XJR-9, Sauber-Mercedes C9), just like James May in the Bugatti Veyron on that one Top Gear episode.
Warning: lots of (DSG) fart jokes (kinda)
Kasumi and Yukina’s point-of-view:
Yukina Minato stood as she watched her brown-haired bride walk down the aisle with her father, a bouquet of roses clutched in her hands. There was a soft smile that she could faintly see through the veil covering her face.
It never came to her mind that she would be standing here, finally tying the knot with the one that she loved.
Of course, it was none other than her Star Kitty, Kasumi Toyama.
The reason why she called her that was because of her hair, which has the cute buns that she said were supposed to make her hair looked like a star. But of course, the first thing Yukina thought when she saw Kasumi’s hair was ‘Kitty’; she was a kind-hearted cat lover from within, after all.
But still, she didn’t think that this day would came. Now, she’s grateful for that to happen. And for Kasumi, she was happy to be her wife, to be Ms. Minato.
Stan’s point-of-view:
Stan Marsh sat inside the cockpit of his blue Ultima Evolution. The 1st-gen twin-turbocharged 5 liter Ford Coyote V8 (from Ford's Modular line of engines) in the engine bay growl and rumbled as it idle away. His left hand was on the steering wheel, gripping it anxiously as the two Precision Gen 2 7675 turbochargers spooled up, while his right hand was on the 39cm long sequential-style DCT Shifter in silver and black.
Today, he’s at the Kennedy Space Center’s Shuttle Landing Facility (a nearly 4.6 km long runway) with his custom-build twin-turbo Ultima, which weigh 962 kg with that twin-turbo Gen 1 Ford Coyote V8 (with flex fuel capability, being able to run gasoline and ethanol fuels) and an upgraded PDK dual-clutch gearbox taken from a 981-gen Porsche Cayman and has 1200 hp (or 1641 hp running either E85 or E100 fuel) at the rear wheels, as he took it for several top speed test runs to see if it can break the 400 kmph mark.
Stan had heard of rumors that if anyone drives a Bugatti Veyron or something similar with a 4-digit horsepower rating to its top speed, they would achieve a form of Buddhist enlightenment when reaching said speed. He thought those rumors was a bit far-fetched, but he still decided to pour his time into his Ultima build to see if it is real.
His four best friends, Haruka Amagase (née Amami), Chihaya Kisaragi, Touma Amagase, and Yayoi Kisaragi (née Takatsuki) has come over to see his do these top speed runs. The guys of the Johnny Bohmer Proving Grounds program gave him the signal to start the first of several runs, which is a quarter-mile (400m) test for the Ultima. Stan bring his right hand to the steering wheel as he held the brake pedal and press the gas to about 4000 rpm, half of the 8000 rpm redline.
The launch is set.
The lights are on.
It’s time to test.
Stan let off the brakes and fully depressed the gas at the instant the green light was on, and off he goes.
Merged Flow of POV (Normal fonts for Kasumi and Yukina, italics for Stan; also, trigger warning: farts incoming):
“You’re so gorgeous, Kasumi…” Yukina muttered, stunned by the beauty of her bride as she lifted Kasumi’s veil.
“You’re very dashing too, Yukina~” Kasumi playfully replied back to the silver-haired Yukina as she chuckled softly. [“Second gear, pretty stable.” Stan said as he heard the engine’s RPM dropped when he pulled the DCT Shifter down to shift up to second gear, the violent and distinctive DSG fart echoed through the cockpit.] (Note: yes, Porsche's PDK gearbox is capable of making those farts)
“Third gear, about 190.” Stan could hear the PDK gearbox letting out a brutal fart again as he pulled down on the DCT Shifter and shifted up to third gear.
“We are here to celebrate the marriage of Yukina Minato and Kasumi Toyama.” the priest said; “If anyone wants to object, speak now or hold your peace forever.” Kasumi and Yukina looked out to their friends and family. [“Forth gear, 255 or so, still stable.” Stan could feel an interruption in the fuel supply as he pulled the DCT Shifter down to shift into fourth gear and another loud DSG fart ripped through the cockpit.]
The Toyama-Minato couple glanced at the row in front of them, where Honoka Kousaka and her wife Tsubasa Kira is sitting. Muse and Poppin’Party has previously collaborated on multiple times, and they just did another one a month ago. Not only that, seeing how their relationship grew is what gave Kasumi and Yukina the motivation to make theirs work well.
“400 m: 8.95” is what Stan saw on his Racebox meter stuck onto the windshield above the dashboard as he checked for the time after putting his Ultima to a stop. The top speed achieved in that run logged by the Racebox was about 268 kmph, or something around that range.
“Alright, if no one wants to object, then we shall continue.” the priest said out loud. Kasumi and Yukina just simply smiled at each other.
Stan was holding the brake pedal as he applied pressure on the gas, the white needle on his black 120mm Stack ST430-010 Action Replay tachometer hover around the 4000 rpm mark. The next run is a half-mile (800m) one.
As the lights turned green, Stan let off the brakes and full-throttled his blue Ultima as it launched off the line, the white needle of the 120mm Stack tachometer instantly jumped off the 4000 rpm mark.
“Kasumi, remember way back when I first met you? I didn’t take you seriously at first, because the reason why you formed Poppin’Party was kind of lazy. But then, I saw you perform with your band at CiRCLE, and oh my god, you are like candy to my eyes and ears. You were passionate yet having fun at the same time, not giving a shit to anything else~” Yukina smiled as she chuckled softly. Kasumi can felt a bit of her tears flowing down her face as she smiled too. [“Third gear, 207.” Stan said as he pulled the DCT Shifter down and shifted up to third gear, the DSG gearbox letting out another loud fart, which he can hear it happen.]
Yukina continued; “Honestly, there’s so much about you that I can’t simply say without stretching this out, but to put it short, you’re so amazing to me. The way you manage to make me smile no matter what, the way you’d always support me in everything I do, the way you lift me up even when I was at my lowest. I’m grateful for you to have come into my life, and I vow to stay by your side, and fully devote myself to you. I love you, Kasumi Toyama.” she could see her Star Kitty bride tearing up slightly in joy as she finished her vow. Yukina simply smiled with her as she wiped off some of her tears. [“Fifth gear, about 308. No offense to Tiff Needell.” Stan quipped as he pulled the DCT Shifter down and shifted up to fifth, making a joke about the former co-presenter of Fifth Gear (and also Top Gear) as the PDK gearbox let out another violently loud fart.]
“319 km/h” is the number Stan saw on his Racebox meter as he passed the half-mile mark. He drove the Ultima back to the starting line for the one-mile (1.6 km) run.
“Yukina, you’re the most determined and dedicated girl I ever saw in my life, and that’s only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to things that I can describe you with. You’re beautiful, talented, charming; anything about you, I know it better than anyone else.” Kasumi joyfully started her vow as she saw the silver-haired bride getting teary-eyed in joy. [“Second gear, about 108.” Stan said as he pulled the DCT Shifter down and shifted up to second, a loud DSG fart violently ripped through the cockpit, and he could hear it in action.]
“When you came to my door, I didn’t know why you came or what happened to you, so I asked about that, and I know why, and I helped you recover that day. When you confessed your feelings to me, I couldn’t help but hugged you because I was in love with you as much as you were in love with me.” Kasumi smiled through that part as Yukina silently teared up in joy. [“Fourth gear, 256.” Stan uttered as he pulled down on the DCT Shifter and shifted up to fourth, that familiar sound of DSG farting echoed through the cockpit again.]
“I couldn’t fully describe how much you meant to me, Yukina, but one thing I can say is that I’m glad to meet you, even if our first encounter was a mixed bag. I first love you as my senpai, then as your girlfriend, and now, as your wife. I’ll be with you through thick and thin, in sickness and health, and everything life throws at the two of us, cause I know we’ll make it through, and I know you are the same too. Yukina Minato, I love you too.” Kasumi finished her vow just in time to see Yukina tearing up in joy. She helped the silver-haired bride wipe off some of her tears. [“Sixth gear, 356.” Stan said as he pulled the DCT Shifter down and shifted up to sixth, the PDK gearbox let out that familiar fart as he does so.]
“367 km/h” is what Stan saw on his Racebox meter as he hit the 1.6 km mark. He returned back to the start line for the full 4.34 km (2.7 miles) run, the same setup as when Hennessey set their record with the Lotus-based twin-turbo Venom GT.
“Stan, you can do it!” the familiar voice of his best friend Haruka ring through the intercom in his helmet into his ears.
“Yeah, Stan, 400 isn’t far away! Though I don’t know if you will achieve something like Captain Slow himself.” her husband and his best friend Touma encouraged him through the intercom in the helmet as he drove back, while also making a joke about James May’s nickname.
“Thanks, Haruka and Touma, I can do it~” Stan chuckled back to the Amami-Amagase couple through the intercom.
“With this ring, I, Yukina Minato, take you, Kasumi Toyama, to be my lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward; for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part.” Yukina said as she slipped the ring onto Kasumi’s ring finger. [“You can do it, Stan! Let’s see how you handle 400 kmph.” the blue-haired Chihaya encouraged him through the intercom in the helmet as he held the gas and slam on the brakes; the white needle on the black 120mm Stack Action Replay tachometer hover between the 4000 and 4500 rpm mark, as Stan has increased the twin-turbo Coyote V8's redline to 8500 rpm, higher than the normal 8000 rpm setup.]
“Yeah, Chihaya. I'm doubtful about something weird happening today, though, unless that big spoiler at the back broke free, and that thing is integrated into the bodywork.” Stan shrugged and quipped.
“I believe in you, Stan!” the enthusiasm of her wife Yayoi rang through the intercom and into Stan’s ears.
“Thanks, Yayoi~” Stan joyfully replied back.
“With this ring, I, Kasumi Toyama, take you, Yukina Minato, to be my lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward; for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part.” Kasumi also said as she slipped the ring she held onto Yukina’s ring finger.
“Now, Yukina Minato, will you take Kasumi Toyama as your lawfully wedded wife till death do both of you part?” the priest asked.
“I do.” Yukina answered back with a smile.
“And Kasumi Toyama, will you take Yukina Minato as your lawfully wedded wife till death do both of you part?” he repeated the question.
“I do.” Kasumi answered back with the brightest smile Yukina has ever seen since they started dating.
“Alright.” Stan said. Then the lights went green and he let the brakes off and fully slammed on the gas, the Ultima launched off the line like a rocket.
“Now I pronounce you two wife and wife! Kasumi and Yukina, you two can kiss each other now.” the priest said happily.
Kasumi and Yukina pulled each other into an embrace as they seal their lips, passionately kissing each other as the guests cheered and clapped louder than Ford’s high-revving 5.2 liter Voodoo V8 in the Mustang Shelby GT350, with Honoka and Tsubasa being the loudest ones. [“200.” Stan said as the speedometer on the steering wheel and the Racebox meter read out that speed, the exotic symphony of the twin-turbo Ford Coyote V8 with equal-length headers exhaust echoed through the cockpit and across the Shuttle Landing Facility.]
“I now present to you, Ms. and Ms. Minato!” the priest said out loud to the guests. [“250.”  Stan held the gas as the boost gauge maxed out.]
“300.” Stan can feel something in him is changing.
The Minato couple walked down the aisle and towards the door as they took their first steps as a now-married lesbian couple.
“325.” something within Stan is changing, the thing that Haruka, Touma, Chihaya, and Yayoi could see in the live on-board recording.
“Congrats Kasumi-chan!” the dark orange-haired Honoka cheered for the Toyama-Minato couple.
“350. Still stable.” Haruka, Touma, Chihaya, and Yayoi heard Stan describing the stability of his blue Ultima.
“Kasumi-san and Yukina-san, I wish you two have a wonderful marriage!” Tsubasa cheered for them as well.
“375. Getting close.” Stan uttered as he pass more than a mile.
Yukina and Kasumi stepped out the cathedral and stood outside, holding hands and smiling to each other, proud to be wives of each other.
“390, and there’s something strange.” Stan said, feeling a little weird as he came close to the coveted top speed.
“I love you, Yukina Minato.”
“400, that mark. Now I’m kinda like James May.” Stan quipped as he reached the magical barrier.
“I love you too, Kasumi Minato.”
“405. Now shit is getting nuts.”
Yukina Minato and Kasumi Minato (née Toyama) smiled and kissed each other again, happy that they are now married. They’re so in love, in fact, that they didn’t noticed a weird, high-pitch, almost exotic sound of a twin-turbo V8.
“410, and why the fucking hell do I see Kasumi Toyama and Yukina Minato on the left side? I must be getting some kind of enlightenment like James May, though.” Stan uttered as he pushed the twin-turbo Coyote V8 in his Ultima to the limit and saw the the Toyama-Minato lesbian couple in front of him on the left side, the white needle on the black 120mm Stack tachometer passing the 8000 rpm mark, the normal redline setting, while the Stack boost gauge and the boost meter on the steering wheel are maxed out and can't read out anything else beyond that number.
Yukina and Kasumi still kiss each other, still indulge in the eternal love they have for each other, the love that they promised to held till death do them part. Kasumi Toyama now has become Kasumi Mina-
Suddenly, a blue blur passed them by at a gap of 125 cm and at speeds of 414 kmph, the loud, high-pitch exotic-like V8 melody roared loudly as it passed the newlywedded Toyama-Minato couple like a ground missile, glued to the tarmac by the downforce generated by the big almost-squared spoiler integrated into the rear bodywork. It was the blue Group C-inspired Ultima Evolution with the twin-turbo 1st-gen Ford Coyote V8, piloted by Stanley Marsh. The Racebox meter, the OEM speedometer, and the measuring tools of the Johnny Bohmer Proving Grounds program all proved that Stan had exceeded the 400 kmph mark.
Stan has now reached the limit in about 1.5 miles or 2.4 km, but his twin-turbo Ultima was begging for him to push it harder. After 3 km or 1.86 miles, he let off the gas and slammed on the brakes, making them glow red hot as he pushed up the DCT Shifter to downshift; “Woah, Stan, are you alright?” Haruka asked, concerned for him.
“I'm alright, Haruka, but honestly, it's kinda weird at 400, almost like I'm in the cockpit of the Peugeot V6-powered Welter-Meunier P88 at 407 or the Bugatti Veyron at the same speed, and I also just saw Kasumi Toyama and Yukina Minato in wedding gowns on the left side when I reach 410.” Stan answered back through the intercom as he drove his blue Ultima back to the starting line, describing what he saw as he was on the edge of his seat when he reached 400 kmph and above in vivid details, while also alluding to the name of a certain Peugeot-backed Group C prototype powered by the twin-turbocharged version of the PRV V6 (the same PRV engine that was used for the Ultima Mk1 and the later Mk2 and Mk3).
“Well, Stan, I guess you just achieve some kind of Buddist enlightenment, just like James May himself in that one Top Gear episode when he drove the Veyron to 407, though I don’t know why do you see Kasumi and Yukina of Poppin’Party and Roselia fame on the left side at 410.” Touma quipped.
“Yeah, Touma, perhaps it’s true that some form of enlightenment can be achieve when one push themselves to the limit in a very fast machine, and as for Kasumi and Yukina, I think I was kinda being Captain Slow for a moment after hitting 400.” Stan replied back.
“Hey, don’t worry about that, Stan, now you know how it feels to reach your limit.” Chihaya cheered him on.
“Thanks for that, Chihaya.” Stan replied back to the blue-haired singer.
“Wanna have something for lunch? It's noon right now, after all.” asked her wife Yayoi.
“Yes, Yayoi, but you four go first, okay? I still have to run the full length stretch.” Stan answered through the intercom; "I'll wait."
"We'll wait for you too, Stan~" Haruka chuckled softly.
Stan now knew what it feels to be on the edge, to push himself to the limit.

While I do include this version of PC Stan in one of my fics since that one is meant to be canon compliant and a direct sequel to PC, honestly, yeah, it really does seem out of nowhere.
The show has given hints at how Cartman or Butters could end up meeting their respective fates in that special, as well as aspects of their respective characters. Kyle is the one who is always trying to help people, trying to find a solution, has often shown a nurturing side as seen in his interactions with Ike or Blanket, and has a wee bit of a savior complex, so you can see how that kid could end up being a therapist or counselor. Kenny, meanwhile, is an inherently kind and empathetic person who you can see wanting to devote his life to helping people, as well as being smarter than he seems, not to mention the catharsis factor of seeing him be the rich and successful one in life.
With Stan, though, it's hard for most of us to see how the Stan we've known for 25+ years could end up as Chief Master Sergeant in the Space Force. We've never seen him take any real interest in the military and little to no interest in space, plus it just seems to innately contradict what Stan Marsh is all about. The popular headcanon of him being a veterinarian, in contrast, seems completely on brand for Stan. Not only have we seen his love for animals on multiple occasions throughout the show, it also feels a lot more true to his essence as the "everyman" figure in the show.
I won't say that making him a high ranking military figure in the Space Force can't work, but the show needs to actually show hints at how Stan could end up in that position. Maybe have an episode where he ends up in some kind of camp or program that leads that way, you could even make a Top Gun type parody out of it, or even subtle hints in future episodes/specials.

I love that we as a fandom all just collectively decided to ignore this version of pc stan
