東京都庁

先月下旬から『ゴジラ都庁襲撃』が上映されるようになり、ちょっと気になっていた東京都プロジェクションマッピング。

先日、第１作目のゴジラを一緒に観に行った子から新宿でのお買い物&夕食を誘われたので、一緒に19:30からの上映を観に行ってきました。

あの有名な音楽も流れる中、現れたゴジラ…もっと観たい！と思ったのもつかのま、その後も音楽に合わせた映像がいろいろ上映され、それぞれ違うタイプで15分間楽しめました。

都庁の目の前の都民広場から観たのですが、広いので混み合うこともなく、皆適当に座って、一番前の席で映画を観ているような感じで見上げて鑑賞しました。

外国人観光客の姿も日本人の姿も両方ありましたが、三連休の日曜日でもぎりぎりの時間に行って普通に見られたということは、平日はもっとお客さん少ないのかな？

都庁の建物は高いとは言え、周囲にも同じように高いビルはたくさんあるし、そもそも新宿駅を挟んで都庁とは反対側のエリアの方が人は多いので、上映に気が付いていない人、都庁まで足を運ぶのが面倒で行っていない人も結構いそうだなと思いました。

Anyone who's heard me talk about my passions for too long can tell you that whatever things I'm currently obsessing over end up getting fused together, not unlike the teleporter machine in Cronenberg's "The Fly".

Side note, don't even get me started on "The Fly" if you're not tryna have a conversation about it at that exact moment.

With that said... a stage adaptation of "I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream". Could it be done?
