IFSC Code Finder Project Using PHP is a web-based application that helps the user to find the IFSC code of any bank instantly. In “IFSC Code Finder Project”  we use PHP and MySQL database. It has two modules i.e. user and admin. In the present system, Users have to visit the bank to ask ISFC Code. This IFSC Code finder project helps the user to find IFSC Code online from anywhere.

In “IFSC Code Finder”  we use PHP and MySQL database. It has two modules i.e.

Admin will be the user of this project who can control the whole website.

Dashboard: In this section, admin can the brief info about banks, states, cities.

Add pages: In this section, the admin can add the new bank, state, city, and details about a particular bank branch.

Manage Pages: In this section, admin can manage the bank, state, city, and bank details. Here admin can delete and edit the particular record.

Profile: In this section, admin can update their own profile.

Setting: In this section, admin changes their own password.

Admin can also recover their own password.

Download the zip file

Extract the file and copy ifscfinder folder

Paste inside root directory(for xampp xampp/htdocs, for wamp wamp/www, for lamp var/www/html)

Open PHPMyAdmin (http://localhost/phpmyadmin)

Create a database with name ifscdb

Import ifscdb.sql file(given inside the zip package in SQL file folder)

Run the script http://localhost/ifscfinder (frontend)

About the Project

Project TURO: Training and Upscaling Rural Opportunities for Youth leverages the development of a reusable and deployable training program to contribute to increasing the economic resilience of young people from semi- and rural areas. It takes a three-fold approach to its outcomes, specifically: capacitate, connect, and convene. At the end of a 10-month implementation period, the project anticipates improved knowledge and skills for young people, a platform that provides access to information and opportunities, and increased engagement of young people in decisions that matter to them.

Why do you care about this specific topic/issue?

As young people ourselves, we also felt vulnerable and anxious about the COVID-19 pandemic’s impact on our economic security. As we talked to our peers, we increasingly realized that there are others who are similarly worried about the same thing. We also came to understand the importance of equipping youth with the knowledge and skills to help them become resilient in times of economic disruptions. Events like COVID-19 create a bigger threat for youth employment and the youth must be able to adapt to these and be resilient as they face the “new normal”.

Why did you decide to start this project?

The life of a young professional has already been challenging even before COVID-19. The pandemic, however, just made surviving as a young person more challenging since the youth don’t have safety nets to aid their careers during the pandemic. Unlike experienced adults who have insurances, back-up plans, money to start on new investments, or even a significant number of years of work experience, most young people have only been preparing to, if not starting, their careers when the pandemic hit. While economic shocks are outside young people’s control, it is important that they can cushion the effects and be able to bounce back. But how to do that in a COVID-19 setting is still unclear. That’s why the project decided to provide knowledge and skills, and start the conversation with decision-makers and other stakeholders on this topic.

What are your goals for this project?

The project ultimately aims to contribute to improving young people’s economic resilience during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond. Our specific objectives are: (i) to develop a replicable program that equips young people with knowledge and skills on economic resilience; (ii) to support the development of youth-led micro- and small enterprises; and (iii) to initiate roundtables with government, development actors and young people on the importance of supporting youth economic resilience and youth-led SMSEs in the Philippines.

How will YSEALI Seeds help you achieve your goals?

The grant given by the YSEALI Seeds team will be a great help for our 10 chosen youth participants to actually start their business with seed funding provided. Opportunities like this allow young people to expand their horizons and actually give them a safe space to explore what they want to do and how to contribute to society

What are the most significant lessons learned you’ve experienced so far?

Issues related to the accessibility of training and education opportunities during the COVID-19 pandemic are real and demand innovative ways of solving them. When preparing the training modules, for example, we have had to shift our strategies based on the needs of our target participants -- who have varying access to the Internet. Knowing that we can’t rely on the Internet alone, we planned to send by courier hard copies of the training modules; provide communication subsidies to cover the cost of mobile data/Internet; and organize smaller interactions (pairs, trios) versus plenary-type synchronous sessions.

Young people’s experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic are not always reflected in policies, programs and the media. While conducting our desk review for the training modules and preparing materials for the project, materials about young people’s experiences were scant. This gives the impression that there were limited efforts to gather, document and study young people’s experiences -- and how they were affected by the pandemic. It also reinforces the need for roundtable discussions with stakeholders to truly understand why it’s important to talk about young people today.
