Tokaido is the name of the Shinkansen bullet train line from Kyoto to Tokyo.The piece was inspired by the feeling of hurtling through various landscapes, towns and cities when Louise and Zands took this journey themselves. Tokaido features a Nepalese singing bowl that remains constant throughout and a manipulated Turkish darabuka which opens the piece and reappears in various guises. The journey reaches its end as Mount Fuji enters the frame of the train window. The momentum ebbs away as the timeless sight appears to remain still and suspended in time whilst the rest of the world continues to rush by. Tokaido was recorded at Real World Studios and co-produced with Oli Jacobs. Callbacks are due NO LATER THAN WEDNESDAY!

We put up an extension for several people who had computer trouble, and ultimately decided to give everyone else the same amount of time as well.

A reminder for the emails!

Send them to  project.xii@live.ca

Put your name (as well as your partners) in the subject

Put your character names in the subject

Attach your files and include any external links

Give us a simple body saying who you are JUST in case

So for an example, here is MY email with the important info marked.

This is EXACTLY what it looks like to us.

Please try to do this! 

We have already gotten several unclear emails with

just one of the VA's first and last names

A file called "callback auditions"

No indication of the log/characters/voice actor pseudonyms

This makes it EXTREMELY hard to sort the audio files and makes it entirely possible that you could be disqualified for lack of credit leading into a no-show audition.

Label your tracks and emails before you send them.

Include your tumblr names/nicknames and the characters you are reading for.

Try to be as clear and concise as possible. This IS an audition, after all!

Callback Announcement!

Hello everyone!

As I am sure a lot of you are anticipating, callback announcements will be extended to NEXT WEDNESDAY. This is due to the fact that my team has busy schedules and have projects of their own to take care of. 

I myself ( Del ), have also come down with a throat infection, on top of an anime convention ( Anime North, I hope to see some of you guys there :3 I'll be cosplaying Feferi and John! ). to attend from Thursday night to Sunday afternoon. 

Therefore my schedule is becoming extremely busy this week and I haven't the time to really free myself up. I know this is important, so please forgive me. 

On another note, some of my secondhand directors are busying their butts off doing their own special things. So any questions asked can be put in the inbox and I will get to them as soon as I possibly can.

However I wanted to make a note here. 

Not all characters were given back to us. This makes it hard for me to judge based on differences and how the actor/actress portrayed their given role. And some people may have been given a character by default due to no one else sending in a callback. 

I want to remind you though if that does happen to you, we will give you a good enough reason as to WHY you still fit that role. We want you regardless :).

Below is a 'form' we're using to judge the auditions. Just a little something for you to keep your eyes open to!
