Some body type references and notes I wanted to make, especially before I redraw some of my old pieces (plus, a bit of him as an adventurer having a crisis of a realization), and also just personally how I HC the change between stormblood to now based on some in game refs I've been looking at.
#ffxiv#sketch#character reference#concept#zenos yae galvus#adventurer zenos#hey so can I just point out how scary all his kicks and the ways he moves have been?#props to WoL and Gaius (and trailer alisaie) for tanking hits that could probably put a hole in the wall#especially for gaius' poor old man shoulders#you guys should rewatch estinien and gaius vs zenos- this bastard lifts his leg high enough to kick gaius right between the shoulderblades#also Stormblood is technically bigger than his armored ingame model but I also based that side's ref off of his dissidia apperance#its honestly really cool seeing how big he is next to the majority of characters in the series LOL#this is also unironically going to be one of the reasons adven!zenos avoids just throwing his life away in high stress situations-#-other than... you know... not scarring his allies once he actually gets closer to them but his reasons arent entirely selfless LMAO
