its just for funsies yknow? its not really about it being someones original character its about playing dolls and having fun
like as an example, people buy plushies and dolls and end up assigning them names and personalities and even lore all the time. is that not a similar concept? its not Their unique design but they liked how the plush/doll looked and wanted to make up fun stories with them
