❝ i wasn't talking about penny. ❞
“ …? That should’ve been the context.” …He thinks? Did he miss something? He swears his whole day is off if he misses his morning black tea.
“ Meaning…?”

@prosada Replied: arven? haha. good joke.
i'll give you 50 per hour.
FUCK. She found Penny's one weakness. Money. Damn their weakness for this capitalist society. "Fine. But I still gotta do my internship so like... Be prepared for a flexible schedule. Or for the kid to like go to the league with me."

❝ hey. ❞ literally sitting in the most unlady like manner— legs spread, a foot on the table. ❝ tea sucks hon. y' let it brew too long. ❞
“ Hrm…I thought letting it steep longer made it richer.” Maybe an hour was a little too much. The directions said 5 minutes the most but the more the better? She dared not take a sip of the liquid black starring back at her in the pot. “ I have no idea how you experiment with things and end up making a time machine while I end up with rotten tea.”
‘Hon’, huh? Geeta strolls over to light pinch the top of her sandal and give it a wiggle.
“ Perhaps the taste of dirt and funny science stuff doesn’t help the tea or food taste better either, cariño.” Feet off the table pleease.

The desert at night, tonight, was calm.
The sky was clear, glittering with a blanket of stars, and soft bouts of wind over standing Cacturne broke the silence with white noise.
Tonight Red kept away from his desert camp, finding a low spot between the dunes under a sheer cliff face, and striking a fire to crackle beside him.
When working like this he had Pikachu nearby, but not beside him.The mouse stood atop a rock formation, a shadow against the slowly rotating starscape.
The bones of the late Professor Sada? They’re old bones, but they’re rotten with the smell of stagnant grease that only sodium carbonate and peroxide had a chance at getting out.
Over the fire, he boiled a large, new pot of clean water, and broke the seal on both powdered products, stirring the cleaning solution to life while it began to bubble.
Red’s hands were clammy under the heavy rubber gloves, and careful as they lifted each bone up and into the boiling pot and put them in.
The skull he saved for last, tucking the shredded remnants of her hair back while he set her head atop the rest of her body. It’s slow, considerate, and meticulous.
The pot boiled, and he smelled death. Unclean, stagnant death had a specific smell to it, pungent and sour. What a painful death (so much blood and pain), but a death nonetheless.
Her clothes he wrapped in a bundle of cloth and set at the foot of the wooden base he had started to build.
When there was nothing to do but wait, he shed the rubber gloves, and sat beside the fire, watching the pot boil, and watching each bubble of oil rise to the foam of the surface.
People didn’t like the thought of mortality. It was an abject fear, to end one thing and transition to another. It was an ending to memory, sensation, and existence as this cognizant being.
Red watched the flames lick up the pot. Charizard swung lower in the night, and Red saw his faraway shadow cross the moon.
Are you still here, Sada?
He slowed his breathing, and closed his eyes. He reached outside himself, and crossed his legs.
Each hand of his, he turned, palm up. He breathed, the smell of boiling bone collecting in the back of his throat.
Are you still trapped, Sada?

BLOG TIMELINE
v.main
ARC 1
Welcome to Paldea! Some time has passed since the time machine had been shut down. Things sort of return to a normal and Geeta is busy as usual as the chairwoman of the Academy, the League and running Paldea.
Not alls what they seem though, Geeta beneath is shaken up with guilt of the professor's death at the hands of a rampaging paradox Pokemon she could not stop so many years before. Recent events and her fear of the Crater and the paradox Pokemon have exaggerated her feelings.
Oh?? Professor Sada has come back after some ten years of dissappearing from the Crater. Though uh, catching up with her isn't as nice a reunion.
And things are getting really concerning outside the Crater too. There's been some worrying signs of a certain apex predator having escaped its walls and causing some troubling signs everywhere it goes..
Despite warning Sada Apex Koraidon is out and might be stalking her after seeing worrying signs, she ignores warnings until it was almost too late.
ARC 1 - INTERMISSION
Geeta stays at the hospital and waits for her to come too and gives Cereza, one of the kids that went down into Area Zero, the task of catching Apex Koraidon much to her chagrin.
Sada wakes up and with the knowledge that Apex Koraidon was vengeful and dangerous make plans to track it down. Meanwhile Geeta suggests she stays close to her and Arven meanwhile in case Apex tries to ambush either of them again and give her support while she recovers at home.
ARC 2
Sada gets back into the motions as time passes and Geeta doesn't have to spend most of her time at the lighthouse to help...but still does anyways. In its own tentative way they've became friends again and she's slowly healing the deep-seated survivors guilt from so long ago.
Things look up only for so long. Geeta's always had weird fuzzy dreams and visions of guiding voices, whispers, crystals and what have but they've become clearer and clear lately. At one point they reach a fever pitch and...first contact is made? She still thinks its just a dream.
Geeta's been in somewhat of a dreamstate. Dazed, a little more scatterbrained then usual. Visions and dreams reminding her of some altruistic destiny for an ideal world. Though .. she's hesitant as it goes into extremes.
There's a kinship there that she can't deny and it's getting really hard to resist the call to find it.
CURRENTLY:
There's no ignoring things now with a certain Heath getting ready to go into Area Zero as soon as winter.
It's coming.
