Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Type K, 1977. The original Firebird Type K was done in 1977 under the direction of GM executive designer David Holls. The first Type K (for Kammback) prototypes were built from fiberglass. However GM's Design VP met with Italian coach builder Pininfarina and arranged to have two metal-bodied Type K’s constructed for show purposes. In late 1977, Pininfarina delivered the twin wagons - a silver one with a red interior and a gold one with natural beige interior. These were 1978 cars, but later converted to look like 1979-80 models.

saw a tweet that pointed out that rei’s speakers are a ref to seele from evangelion and that’s like, a whole can of worms i need time to unpack lmao but one thing i noticed about rei’s speakers now that i’ve been told i should really be looking at them lmao was the text underneath those zeros!!!! the rhyme anima➕ art book included the back of the speakers in a small png, so it was previously unreadable for me, but!!!!

after some finagling to get a clear enough shot, from what i can see, that says hypnosismic -authentic- 零式 which translates to ‘type zero’. in eva, seele is a basically an oversight organisation, presumably made of 12 members (in reference to jesus’s 12 disciples) and it’s also assumed each number represents when each member joined the organisation. zero type i think implies this plenty on its own lol but coupled with that ref, maybe the mic rei’s been using this whole time is the very first ever completed mic, something outside of what he created for chuuoku 🤔

Really awkward explaining that, yeah, I'm a Fate fan. "Who is your favorite character?" Yeah, my favorite character is Ayaka Sajyou the original prototype protagonist of Fate/Stay Night, before they changed it who later became the basis for the protagonist of Fate Strange Fake.

Absolutely love how Athena and Telemachus tie into the theme conflict of “Ruthlessness” vs “Open arms”

Athena was a variation of Ruthlessness for most of the musical. She believes in the slaughter and pushed Odysseus to do the same. And then she meets Telemachus. It would’ve been so easy for Athena to try and stamp the Open Arms out of Telemachus, both for her character and as a writing point. The narrative could’ve dedicated itself to Ruthlessness here. But it didn’t. Athena doesn’t. She starts listening and genuinely considers the idea. Maybe the world could be fine if we had Open Arms.

Then in the reunion with Odysseus, Athena poses the same question to her old pupil. Could we be fine? Could the world be kind? Odysseus can’t have that answer for her. He’s just a man, and he’s already changed so much. He can’t make that world for her, and he has a life he wants to live. A life that doesn’t need Open Arms, not for him or his Spartan wife. But he admits that world could exist. Somewhere beyond him. It could.

And there leaves Telemachus. The open question. The suitors take advantage of his kindness, but he wasn’t shown throwing away the idea of Open Arms. Maybe he still believes in it. Maybe Athena could maybe a kinder world with him as her next student. Maybe Athena could train hundreds of students on the idea of Open Arms.

The musical began with listening and ended with love.

Auto Union Type 52 Concept, 2023 (1934), by Audi. The Auto Union Silver Arrows were legendary 1930s Grand Prix race cars. A street-legal sports car version with a 16-cylinder engine was also planned but the plan was never realised, until now. Audi commissioned Crosthwaite & Gardner to build the Auto Union Type 52 using surviving archive documents, plans, and design sketches. The mid-mounted supercharged 16 cylinder engine provides 520ps.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! behold my "were-moth-man(?)" costume that ive been working on for years...

Technically it is still a work in progress, I only start to work on this costume come October. Next year I am aiming to make the actual wings! The ones on the photo are drawn on, an idea of what I want the final to be like! What started with a simple mothman mask has spiraled into something that is literally a part of me, and I can't wait to make the (hopefully) final thing next year!!!
