Veni would prefer to be the one asked out on a date the majority of the time. However if she notices the other person can't or won't make the first move, she'd doesn't mind asking them out herself. Being shy herself, she figures that they're too scared to ask, but also knows that if no one takes the first step, nothing will spark further between them.

hot take but having a container theme and using small text won’t get you more threads.

let me explain.

over my years in rp fandoms i was generally unfortunate enough to get into extremely tiny rp fandoms (lmao rip me amirite), i’ve hopped around the transformers rp fandom, gravity falls, warframe and sonic the hedgehog, those have been my most recent rp fandoms. now at the time when i joined all of these the fandom was relatively small and not a lot of people were rping in it. so i had a choice of staying strictly to canon or interacting with crossovers and indie ocs. now.

i generally prioritize canon interactions over anything else. i crave that shit. so when i spend all this time making a theme and using super fancy formatted text in my replies and see that all the cool fancy blogs won’t follow me back, i get disheartened

but y’know what? that doesn’t matter. at the end of the day those muns didn’t want to interact with me because they couldn’t see their muses interacting with mine. it wasn’t because my theme wasn’t fancy enough or that i didn’t use enough italics in my replies. it was because they couldn’t vibe with my oc. and i had to learn to accept that, and many of you should too. it’s not because your blog isn’t good enough or that your writing isn’t (and sometimes that might actually be the case and it hurts every time i know) but at the end of the day the reason a person won’t rp with you might just be as simple as them not seeing themselves being able to interact with you. simple as that.

after learning that i don’t aim to make my theme/text this way in the hopes of impressing others, at this point i’ve learned to appreciate the work i put in and the look of my blog whenever i make a new container. i’m just here for the aesthetic now.
