conductors are there as a metronome, that can change tempo and guide you through the music, but not all conductors are good conductors. This post reminded me of my time at a Ti-county festival "which is a thing in my area where all the smol schools get together and practice fkr like 10 hours on a few songs then preform a concert later" the conductor was doing useless shit and switching us around so much so we were losing out fucking heads. He did so much unnecessary movements swirls and swell and fucking uselessness that now one understood and made us loose the tempo all together. Most of us relied on ourselves and the music around us, NO ONE and I mean no one looked to the conductor he was no help and a whole fucking asshole. He favored the trumpets because he was/is a trumpet player, letting them play over the woodwinds or anybody's melody. I think the fuck not!! that is not how music works man! The melody shines not one instrument group! He made the music almost unrecognizable with, he even encouraged the trumpets to play LOUDER over the melody the few first clarinets and flutes we had, I was sitting directly in front of the loudest 3 trumpets and boy where they assholes, the trumpet from our school was about to pumle them because of how obnoxious they were. I mean they played over my fucking solo! Tho it was more of a duo since he made us share, I mean every time there was a solo he made people share (weird personally I didn't mind the girl who did it with me so that was a plus) . Back to the point this guy's was a complete ass hat, everyone but those 3 trumpets hated him and they probably hated him tok because of that dam dancing shit he did that messed with he tempo. The seating was also atrocious, we were not in any systematic seating that would complement the music were where just mixed around, the only thing that was okay was that the instruments sat with their sections. The precaution section was a hot mess, there were people stealing parts and instruments having no idea how to play the part let alone the instrument. They kick one of our guys off the woodblock and he was assigned the part let alone that was his instrument! He was doing it flawlessly then someone stole the part and play decent but not how our guy was playing. At this point idc if I'm biased that was a shitty move. Jeezus I really needed to rant.

On the C4 Model and why I like it

I recommend the C4 model for anyone interested in IT architecture, from beginner to expert. I feel it has just the right amount of architecture to represent the IT system you are trying to describe. It doesn't burdened you with creating too many artifacts. You don't have to learn a lot of rules (e.g. which arrow to use for different forms of relationship). The C4 model lets' you focus on what's essential to communicate to others and avoid debates about nomenclature. You can represent your IT architectures at all levels, from conceptual to physical, which means you can use it through the entire lifecycle of your IT system. In addition, you can represent your architecture with many different diagrams, from system context diagrams to deployment diagrams. And while it's meant for software architects, it is suitable for any IT architect.

Another nice thing about the C4 model diagrams is that they are supported with PlantUML. That allows you to have your diagrams as code. I love that. Each time you diagram your architecture using PlantUML, you can push your .puml (PlantUML) files into a source code repository. A repository like github gives you greater traceability and accountability. You could have each change be a pull request that can be reviewed and approved before being accepted. And each change can come with a reason for why the architecture is changing (e.g., new requirement, constraint or architectural decision). The result is better architectures and better IT Systems.

And really, people do not intend on treating our son this way.
