'millibutt.' amy practically introducing herself to dave with that terrible firearm pun. all of john's joke shirts. Who Are These People. I love them.

Please tell us about Star Trek: Federation Special Forces

PEOPLE WANT TO HEAR ABOUT FEDERATION SPECIAL FORCES?? Okay okay prepare to cringe at me for getting wayyy too into a series that doesn’t even exist and has a very loose premise. So like, most Star Trek series focus on these big ships that are doing deep space exploration (actually idk what goes on in ENT and VOY but I know those take place like, before the original series so im just going to ignore them) Like, the Enterprise in both TNG and TOS is focused mostly on like finding new planets and destroying Romulans and shit. But then every so often they will randomly use the ship to transfer one diplomate and its like Star fleet… why you wasting resources like that. Which is where the federation special forces come in. See they are just a small small crew (only 5 people) on a tiny but super fast ship who focus on picking up all the grunt work the larger exploration vessels can’t deal with. So, say some federation fat cat needs to be transported from Kronos to earth, or someone needs to crack down on the Ferengi’s illegal trade going on in the gamma quadrant, or diplomats keep getting murdered on Malovin IV and their planets authorities are too ill it deal with it. They are kinda just in charge of enforcing laws, keeping the peace, and picking up odd jobs wherever the federation needs them. Also, since the crew is so small and their tasks from the federation vary, the jobs on the ship aren’t limited to like just medical specialists or scientist. So, if you’re the ship doctor you also need to know how to navigate, if you’re the captain you also need to repair the food replicator or whatever.

More specifically, like I said the crew is made up of 5 people. The captain of this series is a Caitian (you know, the cat people of Star Trek). He serves Picard energy but like… if Picard wasn’t genuinely mean and had more dad vibes. He tries to act fed up with the rest of his crews bullshit but he secretly loves them all very much and probably would tuck any crew member into bed and give them a kiss on the forehead if they asked. Super level headed but also secretly surviving off black coffee and the fear of failure. I do not know how Caitian names work so he is un-named at present. Okay and then we have Officer Sock the Vulcan (yeah his name is Sock it’s purely for comedic effect this is a comedy people don’t forget) Sock is like, very Vulcan and has never really been able to adjust to living with other species. He is super smart in the way where he can do insane calculations in his head and all that, but if you give him shrimp fried rice you better believe he is gonna stop you and say “you’re telling me a Shrimp fried this rice? Illogical”. He fr serves mad side eye all the time. His crew mates will be like “sock, you dumb ass its just called shrimp fried rice, a shrimp did not actually fry it” and all they are going to get in response is the side eye. He is the Vulcan dumb ass. Also he is in love with the human first officer, but he does not understand that yet and thats for later development in the show baby. Also speaking of that yes we have a human first officer but I’m still working on her personality. The rest of the crew is made up of two more humans, probably the token horny malewife that must appear in every Star Trek series ever and just like,,, a girl boss with ADHD…… well thats my really horrible summary of the show. I enjoy hope jesus as a joke or if it's played for comedy in an au, especially if it involves komaeda in some fashion, but naegi really is just some dude and the parts that Aren't just some dude is purely from his luck cycle not his Hope. You could say his optimism could come partially from having to deal with the kind of luck that has you and like 20 people all playing rock paper scissors to decide who buys thing and literally everyone else chooses the one that beats yours and because of this you end up being held hostage in a long sequence of falling dominoes, but even that's not overly special as a thing only he could overcome, a lot of people can be optimistic despite hardship

sorry i left this in my inbox for way too long. but YEAH FR it's a funny joke to play once or twice but. to take it seriously?? is just awful. his luck cycle is just a quirk of his existence, and while it's unique to him, it doesn't make him inherently special. he's just some guy through and through, and while it's fun to add some religious symbolism to him, it's just strange to claim that he's fully intended to be a Jesus allegory.

If you had to watch one drama forever what would it be?

I have three series in mind! I Told Sunset About You, Light On Me and Gaya Sa Pelikula. However, i'm choosing the latter one because i cried many times with it and that show gives me a nostalgic/warm vibe, i feel at home watching it. Also... such a good soundtrack, i have many of the songs they used in my playlist <3

2. If you could change the ending of a drama which one would it be?

Lovely Writer: i remember being so pissed with that ending, especially with what they did to Aoey. The potential of that character so wasted, Aoey for me was so complex.... they humanized one second and then, in a blink of an eye, they made him a villain. Anyways, i can rant forever about this, there's still some posts about it in my blog if u search for it so yeah...

3. Name your favorite drama and tell who your favorite character was.

Light On Me: i wanted to say itsay but- yeah, i have more of a connection with LOM. My favorite character... of course is the main protagonist Taekyung! he really represents me and i adore him to death fr.

4. Name a drama you dropped within the first few episodes ~ we all have at least one!

Usually i don't drop dramas, and when I do, I barely remember them. Kissable Lips, My Oxygen and That's My Candy (i want to watch this one tho, for KimCop only)

5. Name a popular drama you've never watched and why?

SOTUS: eh, i'm not a big fan of the actors. TharnType (no need for explanation) and Love By Chance. Personally, i think both these series have some content i would not be able to handle.

6. Name a drama you regret watching.

Theory of Love: I think this is controversial, nothing wrong with liking the show, but for me, it was pure torture. It felt like watching the most toxic relationship ever in a constant cycle of despair... the side couples didn't make it any better.

7. Name a drama you thought you’d never watch but did and did you end up liking it?

Gen Y: it's crazy how this series made me laugh and i enjoyed every second. It wasn't perfect in any way, but bc i didn't take it so seriously, i was surprised... light romance (kimcop my beloved), pure comedy, sometimes being truly absurd, but yep! i loved it!

8. Name a pairing you want to see?

Mmmm, this one is hard but i guess ToddBlack? come on... they deserved each other, it was meant to be!! lol

9. Name a pairing you didn’t think had chemistry?

Bohn and Duen from My Enginner... even the side couples were better, wayyyy better.

10. Name a pairing you have seen in another drama that you like?

Mmmm i don't understand this question well but.... KimCop in Gen Y and in Close Friend 2(?). Also... I'm hoping for more Zeenunew series <3 so i want to see them in other dramas (i'm begging here)

Why LANGA X REKI is CANON- a breakdown of important scenes

Okay so ive seen alot of people saying that Sk8 the Infinity is either gonna deliver big or be the biggest queerbait of the year. And they're right.

In all honesty, for langa x reki I kinda expect a cop-out ambiguous ending.

But i dare to dream so here are some reasons its canon:

The confession scene (i can't believe i can write these words in this order)- when Langa's mom asks if he 'likes' that person he says yes, AND BLUSHES. His reaction is important! He's suprised at first, shocked even, if he thought she just meant friendship why would he have that strong of an intial reaction before confirming that yes, he likes them? Of course, when she specifies that she means a girl he's confused bc obvs hes talking abt reki.

This is where people argue that Langa didn't understand the romantic connotation of the "like" bc he's suprised when she suggests girl.

Sure, this could purely be comedy- we know that Langa doesnt understand the nuances of japanese. BUT counter argument: Langa is fr mega gay and this is his coming out scene

Next we have something established at the beginning of the show: BETTING GIRLS ON RACES

While it's pretty misogynistic, how do we see this applied in terms of plot? That's right, Reki is Langa's "girl" and Langa is Reki's "girl" established in the race with ADAM where Reki fights for Langa to not race ADAM and Miya races Langa for Reki to be his dog.

Then we have the "you saved me, Langa" scene. The parallel between ADAM's toxic idea of love (which we now know is even more fucked up) while dual skating and Langa being like nah, thats not how i skate. I litteraly have nothing more to say on that.

There's all the super soft moments between them: like the chest fist bump scene, reki being concerned for Langa's safety, their bonding moment on the bench where Langa talks about his depression after his dad passed, etc

Then we have Langa's love of Reki, most explicitly shown in the latest episode where even the appeal of skating with ADAM (which he broke his promise to do,) means nothing without Reki there. He spends, quite litteraly, the ENTIRE episode trying to connect with Reki and searching for him.

Hell, when ADAM grabs his shoulder and he lights up thinking its Reki, only to find out he's not there and he just :(

Early on when ADAM gives Langa roses for the first time and Reki is like :? "Your gonna accept that?" Hints at Reki possibly being a bit jealous.

Just the whole shows metaphor of skating being a thing done out of love. Evident in ADAM's abusive love and thus his skating is violent. Contrasted by Reki's earnest love of the "sport" (his earnest love in general is just supportive) and Langa falls in love with skating BECAUSE of Reki, and yeah wow.

Reki having a nightmare in the middle of class and waking up yelling Langa's name. Honestly this is just one of my fav scenes so im adding it

Things Against:

They keep establishing that Reki likes girls: see beach episode where he wants to hit on that girl on the boat. AND LANGA GETS JEALOUS (and also has NEGATIVE interest in hitting on her. 1+ point to Langa is Mega Gay)

They play up some of these scenes for comedic purposes, but that doesn't mean that they won't use them for plot. It just makes it less likely.

and i’m sorry to disappoint but the ending is an open-and-shut case 😭. the hyunjin smau is a different plot, i just really wanted to give him a one-off spinoff because why not, give the people what they want. daddy jeongin is my fave character tho 💓.

i didn’t wanna make a hyunjin spinoff because this is already such a good ending, i didn’t wanna make the characters live longer than they already need to, i’d be dragging it by that point. i’m pretty satisfied by this, a bit sad to let them go but overall happy it’s over. 💓💓

20. What is the purest ship in the fandom?

Miyu/Fay, lesbian space girlfriends! It just seems super obvious to me! I imagine them having really wild adventures together and I’d write a buddy-comedy fic/comic about them if I could (well, I had an idea for this LOL). 

Wolf/Leon is pretty aesthetic/twistedly-wholesome to me. Sometimes I find Wolf/Fox kind of cute.

Then there’s James/Vixy, since I picture them both being really honorable, but I hardly see fanart about them. I headcanon them as having different careers but making it work (I just like the idea of the ace pilot dating the surgeon who emergency-operated on him. UM??? I’m getting so specific..). 

Fox/Krystal is sweet and I appreciate that they have cultural differences between them, but the Command drama bothered me fr.

I actually like Panther/Krystal if it isn’t built around getting emotional revenge on Fox. Panther strikes me as a ladies’ man rather than a true player type, so I feel like he was an okay dude, as much as a space pirate could be (and he deserved better than being a rebound boy-toy <://). It’s been ages since I played Command so maybe I’m remembering it wrong.

9. Most disliked character(s)? Why?

Andross is an incredibly misogynistic and entitled figure that I would feel endangered and disgusted by – pray he doesn’t get a crush on you [Ew. EW. but, I actually like Andross a lot from a writing perspective because he was complex and interesting--so in that sense I think he’s a good character who can teach people that fascism and violence against women is bad].

Pigma is scummy to me but in a way that isn’t unique or interesting, so I can’t feel strongly about him: there will always be traitorous people on the lookout for the next lump of cash. I feel like Pigma types are actually a dime-a-dozen, he just happened to collude with the Biggest of the Big Bads.

I don’t like the idea of Dash Bowman as he currently exists because it makes Andrew’s original concept as the heir to Andross a little weird/contested. That’s something Andrew tried very hard for, and failed at, and I feel like that should mean more. This isn’t to say I dislike Dash himself, he’s a nice kid: I just think Andross having a bio-grandchild is a bit strange.

It is 12:51am and I’m bored in quarantine and I’ve wanted to watch the movie Instant Family since it was in theaters but never did so I just finished watching it and honestly? 10 out of goddamn 10 such a wholesome movie. Like fuck bro they balanced comedy with real important things people should know about the foster care system going in so fucking well. I don’t wanna post spoilers fr but their storyline was honestly superb, shit I could’ve watched these people become a family all day long, and I love the fact that the movies called Instant Family after the website but that it makes it very clear that you won’t feel like a family right away but that it’s worth it. Oh! And the camerawork was impressive for a comedy! Most movies like this tend to focus purely on storyline to make the movie good, so their good and creative transitions and cinematography was really refreshing, especially in the tenser parts of the movie. Would totally recommend, fucking 10/10

Geralt/Dandelion - ouch my dick ouch my balls the original brain dick pounding. I pretty much like any iteration of them with each other but no show geralt bc game geralt is superior in every way 2 me (PERSONAL PREF PLS NO FLAME (him with no beard is fucked up also)) i usually dont like the pair though if people depict dandy as some… naive pure waif or some such…. this man is a hoe and stupid through and through dont overlook this. its important.

I am also actually am a sucker for geralt singing his praises quietly fr no goddamn reason aside from hes infatuated with him and getting weirdly defensive about him and everyone else around him is just like. Christ. this is influenced by me never being able to pick the bully options when i was playing w3 ( i am whipped)

Geralt/Eskel/Lambert - soon as i knew they were more wolf witchers my brain entered a state of superflux. which means i followed them around making mooney eyes constantly, Im more fond of Geralt/Eskel leg of this ot3 bc they have such. old married couple energy and i am in love with Eskel but i love and respect our king lambert as well and he deserves a good ramming, DONT WE ALL? I REST MY CASE.

i also like to think like geralt, the two are pretty open relationship wise by nature tho i could say this about any of these characters bc i like poly hawhaw but something about witchers being seen as unemotional and unfeeling but these guys just having alot of love to give to each other and with others…poetry 😔

Geralt/Yennefer - i have complicated feelings on this pairing bc the show confounded me in how it happened and then it felt so faking weird in w3 bc of all the weird jealousy love triangle stuff i was forced to sit through as well as yen p much just calling me a dumbass donkey every hour before being like alright. time to fuck randomly. and it was executed bad. i didn’t like it and it was bad.

BUT. the potential here is still good and i like a cagey yennefer who finds it hard to trust opening up more slowly to geralt bc hes just like. straightforward…. i think their convo on the boat was kind of cute too… i think i just am really not into the THEY’RE TIED BY DESTINY TO EACH OTHER. LIKE. LITERALLY. aspect of their relationship especially when they seem to clash to hard against it. when she broke the wish with the djinn though and they were acting sweet with each other it made me kinda 🥺 uhu…. my goth wife….

i also dont mind these two deciding they work better together platonically as well though and being like, chummy exes lolol the ribbing that would entail…

Geralt/Yennefer/Dandelion - i think aqua gave me the idea for this but i am tickled by the thought of Dandelion landing himself TWO powerful beau’s who will step in to defend him from the stupid shite he gets himself into 24/7. Yennefer walking in front of him while he gets cussed out by someone just saying “Is there a problem?” smiling menacingly… does that not fuck…. i say it does !

i think her and dandelion’s relationship is just…..very funny and not dramatic so its very fun to think about even romantically. and also geralt is there and plays the beleaguered straight man.

Geralt/Regis - i am putting this here even if i have not finished blood and wine yet bc oh my godddddddddddddddddddddddddddd [smacks head with rock] also my first interaction with w3 was watching a friend play one of his quests with another friend and and all three of us go mad bc we were like IS THIS MEANT TO BE DRIPPING WITH SEXUAL TENSION AND INNUENDO. WHAT IS GOING ON. ARE WE LOSING IT. HELLO. we all deserve a big word speaking vampire boyfriend

Keira/Geralt - they are cute…. i dont need to defend myself….her being so pompous around him is so funny 2 me

Geralt/Zoltan - i like zoltan okay, actually these two have similar retired dad energy but zoltan is the one who makes them go out for date night still

Priscilla/Dandelion - these two…surprisingly wholesome… also god i love bards. i dont think about the end of the quest where she gets owned for no reason they’re just faking chilling in novigrad making bank. ALSO i still cant believe these two dont come with you when you’re forming the avengers crew to defend kaer morhen how r they gonna write about it if they arent there !!!!!!! let them sit in the rafters and throw bombs conspiratorially !!!!! smh !!!!!

hi anon! i’m going to assume you mean the new little women movie bc it’s the last film i saw and also my url would indicate that it’s the only thing i currently and ever will care about (which is the correct thing to assume)

i honestly. loved it so much. which says a lot because my hopes were SO HIGH as i didn’t even have it in me to be skeptical about it bc i was so excited and yet it still exceeded all expectations. i openly wept throughout and like idk i have many thoughts idk if i can make them all coherent but i will damn well TRY.

the casting first of all was,,,,,, chef’s kiss. perfection. 

i already knew saoirse was going to be the perfect jo and i had every faith in florence and eilza (more on that soon) but it was emma watson that really surprised me as meg. i guess i just didn’t really think it was inspired casting when i first heard about it but she’s literally perfect for the role and oh my god congrats to meg for marrying such a STONE COLD HOT NERD john ‘it’s a lovely greenhouse’ brooks you have my heart. also the cursed ringlets scene that continues to give me hives to this day? her ‘MARMEEEEE’ omg queen of comedy?

anyway we know i love jo bc hi look at my url but this film solidified my status as an amy girl through and through. i’ve forever been a defender of amy re: manuscriptgate but this whole movie just did the best job of showing everyone else that she’s the GOAT of the march sisters. and florence is my favourite amy ever. i can swither over all my favourite interpretations of the other march girls but not. florence!amy is for life not just for christmas. the scene where she talked about her feet outside laurie’s house physically changed me as a person and i would like a personal oscar nom for miss florence’s phlegmy cry alone.

and that brings me to... timothee chalamet nation, you... are valid. maybe i stan lil timmy tim now. maybe his delivery of ‘I’M FINE’ did something to a girl. he did the perfect job of showing how much of a fuckboy laurie is but like. he’s my FAVOURITE fuckboy and i am forever grateful for the time and attention given to laurie and amy’s relationship throughout the movie instead of having it bookended in there with a shove and zero care. also this movie did such a good job of portraying laurie’s relationships with all the marches instead of just jo and amy which i LOVED. like when he danced with meg and how he was always putting his arm around beth and asking aunt march to dance at meg’s wedding. god bless.

and i’ll be totally honest. i’ve honestly never been a bhaer fan? idk i know that’s a little like sacrilege these days but all i feel is this emotional detachment from him and that was only furthered in this movie because of all the changes like him being french instead of german. i’ve never been a fan of like large age differences as well even tho yes yes i know different eras and his maturity is there to counteract jo’s attitude but idk maybe i liked that he was younger even though i know a lot of people are pissed about that so it’s... not something i’ll go into detail about because i just. don’t care about him. i’m SORRY. altho i liked meg and amy’s involvement in the umbrella scene.

i was also!!!! a little confused at first by greta’s choice to use flashbacks instead of telling the story in a linear way? but i really liked it because we’re used to seeing everything happen in chronological order through all the other adaptations so i liked the fresh spin on things and CAN YOU SAY LIGHTING. the warm colours for the flashbacks and the cold colours for how everything is for the march’s present day. AGAIN CHEF’S KISS.
