A8. What was your first fandom? Are you still in that fandom now?

like a lot of us, my first fandom was harry potter. i didn't do anything in it though, just read a lot of fanfic about the black and malfoy families and mauraders era and i was so in awe of the people older than me who wrote these amazing stories. the first fandom i contributed stories to was technically like. 80s metal & punk bandom lol. i hit the mainstream big fandoms with a song of ice and fire/game of thrones!

C2. What word or expression always makes you cringe when you read it?

i really HATE when people randomly call each other by their nationalities in fics? Mikel stared into the Swiss man's big brown eyes until he felt suffocated by their intensity. like no one would ever say this or think this and i find it so disruptive! i think a lot of people aren't comfortable with the extra level of strategizing it sometimes takes to write a fic where everyone has the same pronouns, but like--agggh.

i also hate when people are writing sex scenes and they say someone was "keening" to describe like. sex noises. but i haven't seen that in a while thank goodness

Jakub is ten years old and currently into karting. Jorgi didn’t get to enjoy karting when he was ten years old, because he was helping his parents run their little cafe. A real one, mind you, back in Lusiana, his hometown. Apparently, karting costs a lot of money, something that Jorgi has now.

My Eras Tour Fits, One For Each Era!

also pls bear with me on this, I am boring and dont rly know how to dress, so these may not be that cool

General Swiftie Fit: I could only put 10 images in this post so I just wanted to describe my general swiftie concert outfit, which would be the iconic 22 outfit, except with full length sweats not tiny shorts because like. I do not have beautiful slender legs like Mrs. Swift.

Now, onto the Eras:

I just wanted to go for a simple country look. In Swiftiedom, green is the official color of debut, so I went for some supercute green cowboy boots and a simple cowboy outfit! Underneath the plaid shirt I'd imagine I'm wearing one of those "Who's Taylor Swift Anyways? Ew." shirts. I know that's from 22 but I don't care lol.

Yeah don't judge me. I would pull up with the notepad as well, I would write the chants on it cuz I don't like shouting. I wouldn't wear the hoodie unless it got super cold, but I still made sure the hoodie was on theme! Also I'm aware that's not the pajama bottoms she wore in the vid, I wanted them to be fearless-colored (golden yellow)!

Since I couldn't wear the iconic Speak Now dress (way too impractical to wear to a concert LOL) so I went for like, a groom's look? I just realized I forgot to put trousers in this. Well they would be a dark purple, much darker than the shirt, almost black. I went for white gloves because it just gives me bridal vibes idk? Like a groomsman. This fit would look perfect beside the Speak Now dress, which is what I was going for.

Yeah I won't waste y'all's time. I would wear that exact fit. It is the best costume I've ever seen. I just wouldn't wear leggings like she does because once again I don't have legs for days.

I wanted something that would BLIND ANYONE WHO LOOKED AT ME!! BECAUSE THAT'S THE VIBES OF 1989!!! Keep dancing and don't let ANYONE tell you you're too much! Be goofy and silly who gives an F!!!

Yeah don't judge me. Reputation is my favorite album. I would 100% go ham and go full bad boy biker with this one! The shirt says "and in the death of her reputation, she felt truly alive" which is the quote I live by. I think I would slay this fit. Too bad I have zero (0) money.

This isn't exactly what I'd wear. 1) the shirt would have even BOLDER colors. As well as the jacket. This is basically a You Need To Calm Down fit... I love that song so much it makes me wanna dance. Also, my jacket would say "The Man" on the back. I would also do that lover makeup thing with the eye heart.

"who brings headphones to a concert" well DUH i'm not wearing them. Sometimes we sacrifice logic for the sake of the serve! Also, my stuffed husky, Dustin, is part of this fit, but I can't get a good enough pic of him. Just know he is part of this, I wanted this to give "I'm still in bed" vibes, cuz that's what folklore is to me as an album? Idk, it just gives me that, "I wrote this while nestled under the covers" feel.

This is just meant to replicate what Taylor already wears on the album cover. Also, I would have a champagne glass.

And last but DEFINITELY not the least, my Midnights fit! I also designed this as a general Eras fit, because tbh the Eras aesthetic is kind of the Midnights one too, if that makes sensee? I wanted this one to give the vibes of that You're Losing Me line, "I'm the best thing at this party, I wouldn't marry me either". Clearly stylish, but meant to be in the back of the party, not the center.

first impressions of hansi flick?

well you certainly comprehended my post well 😂 i...i know nothing about him, other than where he's worked in the past, but barça's intro videos have got me interested 👀 like what the fuck is this cringe fest! and the shower memes are already cracking me up.

i'm also interested in the fact that he has absolutely nothing to do with the barça machine. now, i actually felt fondness toward xavi, but i think barça is a toxic self-congratulatory circle jerk. not the players themselves, but everyone else surrounding it; they're too obsessed with their own superiority and eat their own. i think they've done decently in establishing a new player base that's not based on a superstar, and now i'd like to see a manager without similar barça baggage. i'm curious. but unless they fix their financial drama, they'll probably chew him up and spit him back out too. we shall see!

i’m not sure how you feel about toxic arteta hcs or whatever but…

you know how arteta is doing his little rescue thing with players? taking almost-failed worship kid martin and making him captain? bring in chelsea-rejects jorgi and kai and turning them into integral midfield players? that’s all well and good on the pitch, but off the pitch? what if he revels in the knowledge that he’s taken these players and “resurrected” them? what if he gets off on the fact that he’s taken their tattered careers in his hands and seen them back to near perfection. what if they worship him and devote themselves to him because of that?

and what happens when one of those rescue players (ramsdale) finds themselves being rejected by the one who saved them and try to do anything and give themselves entirely to gain mikel’s favour again?

maybe bot 100% dark arteta but most certainly grey in the power he wields over the players he’s “rescued” because he’s established himself as some powerful and kind figure to them that they should be grateful to. because not everybody would look at them in their lowest moments and try to uplift them, but arteta did so they should thank him for that, right?

🍓 ⇢ how did you get into writing fanfiction? 

the first fanfiction i ever wrote was, i shit you not, voltron fanfiction in the back of one of my old english books. i vividly remember making myself a self insert and everything. the moment i realised i could write myself hanging out with my favourite characters i was unstoppable. i genuinely loved writing my little self insert fics about whatever my favourite piece of media was at the time. percy jackson, fnaf, dsmp (unfortunately), you name it i probably wrote it. slightly embarassed to admit i still write self insert fics but they stay locked in the vault

i eventually moved to writing on my computer on word documents then to my google drive and random snippets in my notes app. i randomly started writing in the present tense one day for an experimental fic and it just turned into my style i suppose.

🕯️ ⇢ on a scale from 1 to 10, how much do you enjoy editing? why is that?

it really depends on how good i feel the fic originally was. i always let finished fics stew for a couple days at least before i go back and edit it. sometimes it's really fun to go back and see what themes i was thinking of at the time and stuff. sometimes editing a fic is like pulling teeth. some fics require an hour, multiple pacing breaks, and youtube open in the next tab. everything i've ever written just makes me want to crawl under my desk and die. but that's a minority i think

🍄 ⇢ share a head canon for one of your favourite ships or pairings

hmmm. my favourite ship at the moment is dec/kiwi tbh (recency bias tomi/kiwi will always have my heart but im starved for content). my very specific brainworm of the week is that they're both very physically affectionate so they're almost always touching each other in some way.

❄️ ⇢ what's your dream theme/plot for a fic, and who would write it best?

i desperately need someone to write a heist x supernatural au. i love purefractal's heist au fic so much but heist AND powers?? im convinced that would fix me on a fundamental level.

that and a hybrid/shifter au. unbelievable cliche and overdone but idk something about it scratches my brain in just the right way

who would write it best? i don't even know. im partial to JIWONSWIFE on ao3 because i enjoy their writing style a lot but i think purefractals or you (ms longeyelashedtragedy) could write them well

the pattern i notice the most is how i typically use one or both character names in the opening line. and also that there's some kind of main call to action that jump starts the scene. the only exception to that is 2 (trent/lucho) and 8 (ben/mikel) which are more internal thought. im actually shocked that wasn't a more common theme.
