Also amazing to me that George and Lewis can turn up, spend the whole morning giggling and joking with each other, have an entire race where they have absolutely nothing to do with each other from lights out to chequered flag, and yet we still end up in a situation where George gets abuse for yet more unspecified conspiracy nonsense that is nothing to do with him...
i need the silly season to start right now. like put liam in that vcarb seat, renew checo’s contract, pray to god make a pilgrimage idc but that mercedes car needs to put lewis on his last ever mercedes podium, fred stops fucking up and charles restarts his quali masterclass and then basically never stops getting podiums, yuki gets yoints every single race + gets top 5 at some point, and williams engineers somehow get a massive raise and a will to live.
George frauding his way into this list when his Williams rookie years were absolutely forgettable...... Lewis Hamilton's 2022 mid year back pain I will never forgive you for losing to GR and hence him getting hyped on the same level as world champion debuts!!!!!!!!!
Lewis Hamilton in 2007: 109 points
Max Verstappen in 2015: 49 points
George Russell in 2019: 0 points (only driver with 0)
say what you will about checo, but acting like this extension is evidence that rbr just don't want a driver to challenge max when they were openly courting charles leclerc is crazy
i just watched lewis' post qualifying interview and it's so odd. the vibes are so off at mercedes what's going on? what did he mean by 'i knew i would automatically lose two tenths'? how does that suddenly happen from fp to qualifying? not to sound like a conspiracy theorist or a delusion fan but i've never heard lewis like this before. is something going on behind the scenes because what the hell.
I didn't process this much while it was happening but this has to be one of the most wildest radio moments from last season. How could Torger expect Lewis to have faith in the team and car with that kind of message?

EXT. BAHRAIN GP 2022
We open on the paddock of the Bahrain International Circuit where Lewis Hamilton is back from winter break.
He's wearing an odd pair of sunglasses.
Somewhat of a hot take, but I think Lewis has less than 2 years in formula 1…
i think this depends on how he does in ferrari. i can say with certainty that he’s at least trying to see it through to the 2026 regulations and see if those suit him any better, because i know he’s not happy with the cars right now. but i will be honest, the second i heard the news of the ferrari move, i knew it meant retirement was in his sights. he’s said before that he wants to a stint with ferrari before he’s done, and honestly i think he’s just tired of the fia and of the community and how it’s treated him. it probably doesn’t help that almost everyone from when he came into the sport is retired and he doesn’t really have any friends. he’s from an era where the worst thing you could do was have friends, because it made you weak and uncompetitive. the closest thing he had to a friend on the grid (after nico) was seb, and he’s only around once a year now, so i can imagine it gets hard for lewis if the only thing he has to focus on in f1 is his shit car and the team that stopped caring about him the moment he lost his WDC streak. i hope ferrari brings back his spark and he gets another several years (and, god willing, another championship) out of this sport, because i’m really not ready for f1 without lewis hamilton.
Formula 1 has become very popular why don’t they have bodyguards is the question… there like what 100 thousand people at the race track alone hell no should you let your driver walk without security
