In this review we dive into LucasArts’ iconic “Grim Fandango”, a lavish landing of 3D adventure games that became an icon of the (presumed) death of the genre. A tribute to film noir and the more colorful aspects of Mexican culture that tells a magnificent story… in a somewhat uneven game.

It's hard to believe but 25 years ago Quake was released for the PC. It's hard to comprehend now, but back in 1996 this game wasn't just a game, it was an experience. The graphics and atmosphere were unlike anything before it, and the music and sounds by Trent Reznor (of Nine Inch Nails) were incredible. I can remember not even having a computer powerful enough to play this game, but rushing over to my friend's house to try it out. It blew us away and games were never the same after. I never though that these many years later we would be here talking about Quake like this, but here we are. ID Software were titans of game design and should be proud of following up Doom with this beloved classic. I think I just might fire it up once again.
