Hm.......... I like the 'taking a hit' scenario with Haru and Makoto because Haru's strong against psy so it actually makes sense for her to push Makoto out of the way and it makes sense for her not to be too bothered by taking the hit, and then, while Makoto's clumsily trying to explain why Haru should've let her take the hit (even though she's weak to it) and when logic fails her Makoto admits that she doesn't want to see Haru get hurt, Haru's like "I feel the same about you, so please... don't be so reckless."

She looks onward, to the long road and the plains that seemed to spread forever. “All my life I thought I’d let my life pass me by, but someone who’d been brave enough to not let that happen to them is sitting right beside me. I feel a little embarrassed,” Haru gives Makoto a small smile, tucking a stray curl behind her ear. “Is it wrong to say I look up to you?”

Queenoir headcanons?

:o i do like them together but i don’t have tons of headcanons im just gonna go by how i like to ship/characterize it

- love love love shy/insecure makoto stumbling around haru who is very patient and sweet with her and helps her feel more independent/her own person

- i like a bit of a height/size difference for them, taller/leaner makoto and shorter/chubbier haru

- haru’s nickname “mako-chan” a classic of course...i’d like makoto try to be that lovey-dovey back but she struggles with it smh

- gardening with haru helps makoto relax, likewise makoto starts haru with some martial art classes to help her destress bc you know haru is internalizing a lot of trauma

- very soft/relaxed couple, low energy imo, tea dates, reading/studying together

a lot of it is based on how i like makoto which is more like, less badass biker girl and more insecure girl with too much pressure on her, like when you first get to know her better by kaneshiro palace.  just my hot take.  and with haru who is undeniably sweet and fluffy but headstrong.  their nurturing of the other is mutual
