wait what if the emergency in 8x14 and 8x15 isn't isolated to just LA? What if it's happening in several different cities at once, and ends up in El Paso as well?

im picturing either some kind of plague/manufactured contagion OR chemical warfare type terrorism similar to mustard gas. some kind of substance being released into the air forcing people to stay inside their homes (picturing Doctor Who 4x5 The Poison Sky kinda vibe) and people who breathe it in get REALLY sick.

maybe this happens while they're attending another emergency and the rest of the 118 get trapped at whatever place they're responding to but it isn't stable and they need to get out but they can't. so buck and athena have to work together to either get them out safely and/or figure out how to stop the spread of whatever this stuff is (assuming it started in LA)

meanwhile eddie is stuck in his shitty house w Chris (maybe they came here after a fight with his parents or its just after eddie finally said what was what and took Chris to live at his place) and they're trying to stay safe but this house is not equipped to do so maybe there's broke windows that let the bad air in, maybe an electrical fire starts and they have to choose between the fire and the shit outside idk

what if this connects even more to the upcoming ep with whoever this super aggro guy w the knife is. maybe they keep getting called to him because each call he's displaying increasing signs of anger and aggression or psychosis and it culminated to that call on the bus where Hen nearly dies (maybe he's one of the human 'lab rats' that escaped or was set loose first)

and come episode 8x14 we find out that it's some kind of drug/contagion that suddenly affects a lot of people to the point that the world kinda starts looking a bit like the Purge so people gotta fuckin hide but first responders like the 118 are out there trying to help even though it could get them hurt/killed/infected

(and maybe if we did get that gas station robbery teased in the stills for 8×12 that could have also been some kind of foreshadowing)

and maybe the only reason buck doesn't get stuck out there w the team was because he took a literal sick day before it all really started going down. and that's when the 118 gets stuck in some way or he sees/hears something that helps him connect the dots on who is behind this so he gets w athena and they have their little detective buddies moment and ultimately end up being the ones to put an end to this/find the instigater and the cure or whatever and they have to figure it out fast bc the clock is ticking for the 118 (maybe one or more of them is infected, maybe they're trapped somewhere by one or more infected (imagining the kinda scene u see in a zombie movie where the protagonists are trapped in a room w a horde trying to break down the door)

and if this isn't the thing that gets eddie and chris home for one reason or another, I'm hoping that they're on way home when this happens bc eddies house burnt down and then they get stuck in the mix as well and then we get NDE for eddie and/or Chris and we get buck finding them in a way that's a call back to eddie finding buck after the tsunami and for a moment we get buck terrified that one or both of them have died and im begging for this actually

I feel bad for asking this question as a once die hard fan of Hiiragi, but do you think Hiiragi's songs just don't hit as hard anymore? I feel like their new songs just don't compare to the rest (Especially Bottom and Bakrom), but maybe i should give his new stuff another shot, thoughts?

i have quite a few feelings abt this but tbh it boils down to this:

I prefer Hiiragis older works over their new stuff. their new stuff is good, don't get me wrong! I still like it. but I think their old stuff is better. Vita is really good imo but that's not exactly recent anymore. in my humble opinion nothing will ever top early color series. Autophagy, Möbius, Eva, Bocca Della Veritá, Bottom. by extent Galleria and Vita. their old old works are good too but I think the flower tuning peaked at color series.

also a lot of times older stuff is clouded by a sense of nostalgia which makes it feel like the old stuff is better than the new stuff. this isn't always the case. anyway this is how I feel abt it!! thanks 4 the ask even though my account is dead af LOL

Does anyone know how the digital tickets work? I'm super excited about Cinderella's Castle, but I am not located near Hollywood. I haven't seen any digital tickets up yet, but I think this makes sense - from my understanding, they record one of the live shows and put it up for people to watch for 3 days after purchase of a digital ticket, is this correct?
