I love systemic games and emergent storytelling. My Battle Brothers company has a member named Otwin Quickfeet who is called that because he is, well, very quick on his feet. He just suffered a debilitating injury in battle meaning his leg has been maimed and will never fully recover, making it seem like his nickname is ironic.

I love the manic energy of him dodging the first shoe, smiling and then the slight recoil with the hand going up immediately knowing he won't dodge the second one.

Also the guy immediately taking off the other shoe so quickly you'd think he was reloading a gun is a legend.

Having your own personal blog is honestly quite a nice change of pace compared to Reddit. I could put a funny GIF of George Bush getting hit by a shoe on here and the worse case scenario is that no one even notices.

You put that on a big subreddit and you get your eyes gouged out and a heap of political discourse underneath your post.

When I took up Lucifer as a muse on (demonsofdevildom) a whim along with the rest of the crew, I seriously just tossed in the peacock thing as a mere sort of birb thing along with the noises that Lucifer be doing at times. Embarrassing but being a birb from being an angel and all it stuck, as do the forms when having times to unwind and he rarely does ever unwind so when seeing Lucifer in peacock form is a rare sighting.

Just be prepared to be chased after by the demon when bothering him be it by giving a loud scream/cry of a peacock before a fan of tail feathers be the last thing you see before knockout by this birb. Quickfeeted birb and yes he be old but damn swift when he wants to be haha.

But yes the tail feathers be emotional indicators of his mood and be evident with his wings too if they slip out without his knowledge, yet another embarrassing thing he fusses of when emotions be expressed by his feathers and giving up when trying to get them to stop rustling or whatever.

Plus his familiars be said birbs so only fitting when giving him a peacock form and features, be it with tail feathers which no grabbing unless dare be dealing with a mixed emotions birb. Act be taken as a suggestion to mate or offended so yeah pfft.

a scoff, "empirical logic?" he repeats, amusement overcasting his furrow. "sucks for you 'cause i don't even know what that means." sounds like something he'd overhear from star wars absently playing in the living while he cooks, though. he feels possessed to ask: "are you a closeted nerd? be honest." it'd only add another point to dante's attractiveness factor, but did he really need it? no, because drake saw something in him that gave him an unquenchable thirst. the battle was how long he was going to choose to ignore it. but as soon as he thwarts his frivolous inquiry, karma comes in the form of dante's finger colliding with his cheek and in drake fashion, he definitely deadpans, placing his hands on his hips while he could practically feel the heat pooling from the other's gaze. "my dick, huh?" his laughter is about as taunting as it is cute and drake swallows it up with the corner of his mouth shifting into something more sly. something more daring. that's all he needed to hear in order for him to close in on the distance between the two of them, narrowing his chance of another quickfeet escape. "nah, i'm gonna leave it up to your imagination. i want you to keep thinking about it." his tone turns firm once dante's hand connects to his shoulder, and drake swiftly moves to peel it away, using the same hand to lift the guy's chin. he smooths his palm down the slope of his neck, fingers mildly gripping along the soft flesh as he strokes a thumb over dante's pulse point, just a breath away. "depends..." that same thumb continues to run it's course over his bottom lip, swiping past it with a gentle tug. "keep misbehaving and you'll find out."

maybe if dante had any sense of self control, he would have stopped here - content with the fond expression that had taken over drake's face, content with a second admission that he was cute. but dante had no self control, "you should because its true, but i could really go for some specifics. you know, empirical logic." eyes roll back in his head with a groan, "do you like anything? no. why would my nickname for you be any different," it wasn't til after this that he comprehended the chokehold threat and his eyes went wide with what should have been fear, but no - for dante it was excitement, "oh, you promise drakey-poo? don't tease if you can't follow through with it," his arm is extending to poke the side of his head when he turns, making contact with his cheek instead, making him laugh as he answered, "no." eyes drop very obviously to the front of drake's pants, "but i think about your dick pretty often and since i don't have a picture - gotta settle for an eggplant. its really a tragedy - one you should rectify immediately." he's still talking as drake is practically chasing after him, half laughing, half running to make drake have to go faster, "cause it makes you make a cute face." the words are practically stolen from his mouth as drake yanks on his arm, tugging him back towards his chest. eyelashes flutter, a hand placed on drake's shoulder, "and what if i refuse? do i get the chokehold you teased me with earlier?"

Double Shuffle High Pulls! 😎Thanks for your share @mike.salemi ! “ I started experimenting with this exercise the other day and it was a BLAST! This is an intermediate+ level exercise that involves the mechanics of a double kettlebell high pull with some added footwork. Get set in you classic double bell position, then as you come through the acceleration phase, hop quickly into a staggered stance. You’ll want to be hitting the apex of the high pull around the time your feet touch the ground. Then as the bells lower, quickly return your feet to your swing stance. Before attempting this movement, first feel very comfortable with your classic double bell high pull. Also, I suggest going on the lighter side to start, and focusing more on the timing and foot work. Every time you hop, try to alternate the lead foot. Sets of 8-12 reps with a lighter load is a good range to stay in as you practice.
