anyway im gonna get back to sewing and watch prisoner of azkaban which iirc marks the shift in color toning in the movies from bright and saturated to darker and muted, and is also very blue toned?? its also means a lot to me bc it was the last movie i saw w my grandma

After a few days in Mom's dining room, I've completed this month's Summer Garden BoM block, Wild Goose Chase!

I had a lot of fun working on these, though trimming the dozens of flying geese did get a little tedious, and Mom and I can't wait to do it all again next month when December's block is released!

So for my HS best friend’s baby shower, I - with help from my mom - made her a baby quilt.

It wasn’t perfect; some squares didn’t line up quite right, and some of the binding stitching was wonky. There’s two colored squares I wish I’d swapped positions. But it’s soft and cute and good for the first ever quilt I have done.

And what really matters is she said she loved it, so. ☺️

I haven’t been able to see her in so long, so really it was nice just to get a chance to hang out for a bit.
