Grew up in and out of foster homes, never knew what “home” really meant. Trouble found him young – and he didn’t exactly run from it. Criminal record? Yeah. Regrets? Few. Lessons? Plenty.

He’s the kind of guy who lights a cigarette with a smirk after walking out of an 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 – metaphorically speaking. Quiet type, but his silence 𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐬 louder than most people’s words. Doesn’t trust easily, but if you get in… he’ll 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭 you like a wolf protects his pack. Been through 𝐇𝐄𝐋𝐋, doesn’t hide the scars. He’s not looking to be saved – but if you’re real enough, he might let you see the man behind the armor. 1.96m pure Hate.

I was busy doodling your most dumbest boy and I shared a drawing of him with a friend who doesn't know about Kenny. They proceeded to go apeshit about him until I informed them that Kenny is very much in love with Shane.

This was their response to this information:

I need to verify whether or not this analysis is accurate.

the analysis is correct. if u showed Kenny a chart of conventionally attractive and conventionally unattractive people he wouldn’t be able to pick out which is which. if u asked him what he sees in Shane he’d get rlly confused. the cross section of his brain is bedrock.

What are your favourite Luke x Haley moments?

Love the question! Off the top of my head, my favorites would have to be in the episode when Alex is gone for several weeks and Claire/Phil/Luke/Haley are all getting along harmoniously without her. Luke calls Haley kitten as a pet name and its ridiculous. And then the classic Luke/Haley moment when Claire (?) tells him to grab that hoe when they're out in the garden and he goes and puts his arms around Haley. I'm still laughing about that?

But the most suggestive moment is the laundromat exchange:

So of course I love it.

But I could see normal siblings joking around like this. The "kitten" things just makes me go

Blink Twice (2024)

Blink Twice has several scenes that feature camera flashes. These flashes are singular and never strobing, but occasionally happen very suddenly and without warning. In almost every instance, there is some warning of these effects as someone brings out an instant delivery-style camera.

All of the camera work in this film is either stationary or very smooth.

Flashing Lights: 2/10. Motion Sickness: 1/10.

TRIGGER WARNING: As stated in the trigger warning at the beginning of the film, there are scenes of intense sexual violence. On top of this, there are also scenes of gaslighting, animals being killed on-screen, graphic bloody violence, and one scene with the graphic sound of vomiting.

BRANDON'S REVIEW: Zoë Kravitz writes and directs like an experienced professional in her debut in these roles. This film is an intense and deeply disturbing thriller. With echoes of Get Out and Infinity Pool, it is not for the faint of heart. Although the antagonists are left with a satisfying ending, the journey to get there is an absolute horror show that Zoë Kravitz masterfully takes us through. The exposition is handled in a very modern way, making it feel more natural and less like a movie. The plot-twisting reveals may feel abrupt, but it is obvious that this is intentional, and it works for the film that has been made. Grade: A.

We applaud Zoë Kravitz for including an on-screen warning at the beginning of this film about the sexual violence, and we hope to continue contributing to efforts to normalize such warnings before beginning to watch a new film.
