Kung Fu Panda 2:

It's a perfectly balanced movie between comedic deliveries and heavy emotional plot revolving around trauma and healing. Also the villain is just fantastic. The best scene is obviously the climax where Po learns to feel his pain without suppressing it and turns it into energy (physically and metaphorically).

The animation is top tier the villain is good and terrifying and sooo cool, the designs are everything, the mix of 2D and 3D scenes, the music, the humor, Po's self discovery journey.. wow. Breathtaking no matter how many times i watch it.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit:

The fact that its 2d animated with dozens of well known characters in one movie is pretty cool yknow? the concept too.

This movie is astounding. It’s hand painted animation. Everything had to be shot twice to ensure eye contact was maintained between the actors and the animated characters. One set was built 8 feet off the ground for moving props. They had puppeteers moving glasses for an octopus barman.

Barbie as the Princess and the Pauper:

This movie made me a theater kid.

It's arguably the BEST barbie movie. If one of them deserves to sweep, it's this one. The music is fucking stellar.

i think tai lung is randomly placed next to the bunnies, but I liked the theory that he would become a kind of mentor for them (but not a father figure. no, just NO).

these little devils have a propensity for violence, which terrifies po, and it is unlikely that he will be able to control them due to his gentle nature, which is why they may be captured.

but tai lung is built differently.

where po saw a problem, tai lung would see an opportunity. due to his tough nature and lack of patience with someone else's shit, he will be able to discipline the bunnies, and his openness to solving problems by force will only strengthen their bond and make him an authoritative figure in their eyes. In addition, this guy has defeated 1000 rhinos and the furious five, and is also famous for his kung fu, of course these kids will want to work with him.

just imagine po's reaction when he sees that tai lung is not only alive, but also able to curb these devils, lmao/

Sooo, I am sick and suffering horrible Shen brainworms (I need to be put down.) Of all the things, I was not prepared for some random rabbit OC to become such a big figgen deal. Like, I think this chick just stole my fanfic from me.

I thought I was writing a story exploring the political ramifications of Shen not dying, but nope, I'm actually writing a story about a random rabbit nurse, and Shen exists in the background as an unconscious lump.

As of right now I have 7,600 words dedicated to this story of the rabbit nurse and her lump of miserable peacock. I may provide future updates. Right now, I'm going to b ed

This year's Chinese New Year drawing is Marvel comics' Lin Lie 林烈 Iron Fist. Wanted to do something different than the usual girl in a Chinese dress and focus on a male Asian character. Also, Lin Lie's Iron Fist comic was one of the my favorite comic book series of last year. Won't be suspired if I see him in the Shang Chi movie sequel.
