will there ever be a reprint/rerun of twin shadows? I wasn’t able to get one back in the day </3
HI!! AAAA!! It means so much that you're interested!!! ;W; I've been thinking I'll do a reprint this summer. I'm a bit worried about HP, though...since I'm gonna have a published book out, I wonder whether I'll be a more noticeable target on Harper's radar o____o;
The good news is: For some reason I forgot that I don't have to buy the books up front lol?! For ages I've been like "Aw shit, I'd love to reprint Twin Shadows but I can't afford to drop $1,500 on paperbacks and then not have anyone buy them!!" Which...WHAT? RAB JFKLSAJDFLSA YOU OPEN PREORDERS FIRST AND THEN PRINT HOWEVER MANY PEOPLE ORDER AFJDKAL!! So that's one hurdle solved!
TLDR the recent interest has definitely made me feel like it'd be worth it to open orders again!! I'm gonna be really busy with Bunnybirds launch stuff for the next two months, but I'll try to get to TS as soon as I can!

Hardness Testing Machines: An Essential Tool for Quality Control in Material Testing
In the world of material science and manufacturing, the need for precise and reliable testing equipment is paramount. Among the most crucial tests conducted to assess the quality and durability of materials is hardness testing. Hardness is an essential property of a material that defines its resistance to indentation, scratching, or abrasion. The hardness of materials like metals, alloys, plastics, and ceramics determines how well they will perform under various conditions, making hardness testing an indispensable part of material quality control.
Why Hardness Testing Matters
Hardness testing plays a significant role in ensuring the strength, wear resistance, and overall durability of materials. It helps manufacturers evaluate the raw materials used in production and ensure the finished products meet required specifications. By performing hardness tests, engineers and quality control professionals can determine the suitability of materials for specific applications. In industries such as automotive, aerospace, construction, and manufacturing, the reliability and safety of products depend heavily on material performance, which is directly influenced by its hardness.
Suzuki Instruments, a leading provider of high-quality hardness testing machines, understands the importance of these tests. The company offers a range of Rockwell and Combined Hardness Testers designed to meet the diverse needs of industries requiring reliable and precise material testing equipment.
Rockwell and Combined Hardness Testers by Suzuki Instruments
Suzuki Instruments offers a comprehensive range of hardness testers that are specifically designed to deliver accurate results for different types of materials and hardness scales. Their line includes models such as the RAS / RAB-1 / RAB-250, and the Twin Series, which are ideal for Rockwell hardness testing. These machines are widely used for testing the hardness of metals, alloys, and other materials, offering several advantages over other hardness testing methods.
Rockwell Hardness Testing: A Quick and Reliable Method
Rockwell hardness testing is one of the most commonly used methods in the industry for determining the hardness of materials. It is known for its simplicity, speed, and ability to provide reliable results. The Rockwell hardness test involves applying a specific load to an indenter and measuring the depth of the indentation made on the material’s surface. The hardness value is then determined by the depth of the indentation, with different scales (A, B, C, etc.) applied depending on the material being tested.

The Twin Series: Combining Versatility and Precision
The Twin Series models take versatility to the next level by combining multiple testing methods into one machine. These combined hardness testers can perform both Rockwell and Brinell hardness tests, giving users the flexibility to test different materials using a single device. The RASNE-3 / RASNET-3 / RASNEB-3 models offer exceptional precision for applications requiring a combination of hardness test types. These machines are ideal for industries where materials undergo varying levels of hardness, such as in the production of automotive components, tools, and heavy machinery.

Semi-Automatic Hardness Testers for Enhanced Efficiency
For industries seeking greater efficiency and ease of use, Suzuki Instruments provides semi-automatic models like the RASN-TS / RASN-TSFA. These semi-automatic hardness testers are designed for high-volume testing environments. By automating key processes, such as loading and unloading the sample, these machines reduce the time and effort required for testing while maintaining high accuracy. The RASN-TS series is ideal for operations where speed is essential without compromising the quality of the results.

Key Features of Suzuki Instruments Hardness Testers
User-Friendly Interface: All Suzuki Instruments hardness testers are equipped with intuitive controls and clear digital displays, making them easy to operate, even for users with minimal technical knowledge.
Precision and Accuracy: With advanced calibration and measurement systems, Suzuki’s hardness testers ensure highly accurate results, reducing the risk of error and ensuring that materials meet strict quality standards.
Versatility: With the ability to test a wide range of materials and multiple hardness scales, these testers are suitable for use in various industries, including automotive, aerospace, construction, and manufacturing.
High-Speed Testing: Particularly with the semi-automatic models, the testing process becomes quicker, enabling high-volume testing environments to maintain production flow without delays.
Robust Design: Designed for durability, Suzuki Instruments’ hardness testers are built to withstand the rigors of industrial environments, ensuring long-term performance.

In today’s competitive manufacturing landscape, the quality of materials directly influences the performance and durability of products. Suzuki Instruments’ hardness testing machines, including models like RAS / RAB-1, RASNE-3, and the semi-automatic RASN-TS, provide businesses with the tools they need to conduct reliable and efficient hardness tests. Whether you’re testing small components or large industrial materials, these machines offer versatility, accuracy, and speed. By investing in a quality hardness tester, manufacturers can ensure that their products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance.

ok idk something just hit me about azula and zuko flashbacks and how the 2 times we saw them playing like siblings , it involved azula chasing zuko. which makes me really sad because zuko left for 3 years and got away from ozai and had his uncle and azula couldnt chase after him when she needed to be with him the most. and the way azulas chasing zuko, it really is just foreshadowing of what their relationship will be like 5 or 10 years from then.

Levels of Concern
“I told you my level of concern, but you walked by like you never heard”
Why have you made this? The Levels Of Concern Project is a way for the clique to stay connected and help each other during this tough time when mental health issues are effecting everyone; as most of us already deal with mental illnesses of some kind, this is hitting especially hard for us. Long swaths of staying inside and having time to be alone with your thoughts (sometimes quiet is violent) is unhelpful for those struggling. That’s why I’ve invented this project!
How does it work? This project serves as a guide to the “levels of concern” you have about your mental health, and provides solutions for each level. These solutions often take the forms of skills one would learn in DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy) although other resources are included.

A few days ago I happened across this article from 1977 about the seven child actresses in the original Broadway production of Annie. As with many musical-loving girls, Annie was a childhood favorite of mine: I must have listened to the OBC album hundreds of times and watched the 1982 film version almost as many. This article is interesting enough for all its insights and anecdotes about the original stage production and the girls who were in it. But to me at least, it's especially interesting for some of the comments from Martin Charnin: the man who conceived the very idea of adapting Little Orphan Annie into a musical, who wrote the show's lyrics, and who directed the original 1977 production, the 1997 20th Anniversary revival, and many national tours of the show across the decades (meanwhile grouchily disparaging all three film versions and the 2012 Broadway revival, none of which had his involvement) until his death in 2019. Namely, his comments about his experience in the original production of West Side Story and how it influenced Annie.
Charnin created the role of one of the minor Jets, "Big Deal," in West Side Story. (He had just one spoken line, which fortunately can be heard on that show's OBC album – "But the gym's neutral territory.") In this article, he explains that Jerome Robbins' work with West Side Story's "gang members" influenced his own way of directing Annie's "orphans": working with them not just as a group, but as individuals, making sure they each came across as a unique character onstage.
As a fan of Annie from age seven or eight onward and of West Side Story from age eleven onward, ever since I learned that Charnin was one of the original Jets, I've always felt as if there was some influence of the Jets in Annie's orphans. After all, they're both groups of poor, scrappy New York City kids who cope with their hard lives by acting tough and mocking authority figures, even if one group does consist of teenage boys and the other of preteen girls, and even if the girls are much more sympathetic in the end. Some of their individual personalities are similar too: both groups have a vulnerable youngest one (Baby John/Molly), a scrappier second youngest (A-Rab/Kate), and an especially angry, aggressive one (Action/Pepper).
It's interesting yet unsurprising that this article confirms that Charnin drew on his West Side Story memories when directing the girls.

like u have people saying cmbyn or booksmart are soo much better than the half of it or moonlight but . the first 2 films were made and written by white straight people and the last 2 were written or made by lgbt BAME people. yet the ones about bame lgbt folk arent deemed queer enough?? theres such a racial bias when white fandoms online talk about lgbt representation and I'm so tired of it
