Pretty dope to see this video drop which aligns with the 25 year anniversary as part of Outkast’s 1996 LP, ATLiens.

The animation was done by Rafatoon. Last month the reissue of ATLiens was released with 14 instrumentals.

Deftones Menampilkan Kemewahan Single Dan Klip Video Terbaru ‘Ohms’

Salah satu band jenius favorit saya di muka bumi pimpinan Chino Moreno, Deftones, baru saja mengejutkan kancah musik internasional dengan perkenalan terbarunya lewat single “Ohms”. Yaps, single tersebut akan mewakili kedatangan album penuh kesembilan dari Deftones yang berencana akan rilis secara cepat pada 25 September 2020 via Warner Music.

Ohms, juga dikemas begitu istimewa dengan visualisasi epic karya dari Rafatoon yakni sosok dibalik klip video deretan musisi ternama dunia seperti Dua Lipa, Camila Cabello, Santana, The Chainsmokers, Gary Clark Jr, dan masih banyak lainnya. Konsep dimana mencampurkan sisi gelap yang elegan dengan sentuhan cinematic yang luar biasa sangat terpampang jelas pada kemewahan klip video Ohms dari awal hingga detik terakhir. Dari segi musikalitas sudah tidak kita tanyakan lagi bagaimana Deftones selalu berhasil membawa kita bereksperimen sendiri secara nyata dengan olahan Rock/Metal yang catchy.

“Sebagai lagu pamungkas pada album, Ohms diyanyikan dalam sebuah retrospeksi, dimana kita tidak hanya melihat pada kumpulan track yang datang sebelumnya namun melihat juga ke dalam lingkungan bahkan kehidupan kita” ungkap Chino Moreno via NME. Akan ada 10 track yang siap kita nikmati secara gila-gilaan, dan kini sesi pre-order album Ohms secara fisik ataupun digital sudah menunggu kita untuk segera dieksekusi.
