Something I love about Lost is that so often they set you up to think someone’s actions are the result of innate badness, hate, spite, and so often it turns out they were actions taken out of fear or, even more often out of love. This show is so full of humanity.

That's an interesting question 🙂

Most of the ladies in the apartment building (Gloria, Marge, Lois and Rafty) adore her so much, that they are almost treating her like a baby. While older men like Alf, Mclooy and Albert are giving her wisdom and sweets. It has some advantages, but sometimes it can get too suffocating and repetitive for Ana, so she prefers to hang out with younger people, mostly around her age to have real fun.

While she made friend with Quachil, I can also see that she is befriending a another kid from other, other dimension.

(This is non canon but I thought about it for fun)

I am sure Miles Morales and her will develop a friendship. Let's say by accident, she learned that he is that mysterious "Arachnid Kid" who has been saving people in town. Once, a doppelganger ripped away his mask and Ana witnessed everything.

She kept her promise not to tell anyone about his secret identity, so long as he'll allow to come with him on his "missions" and tell her more about his world.

And also, I can see her befriending both my OC Doorwoman and Henry

And younger neighbors like Steven and Rob

This is WIP btw (obviously inspired by Shrek and Frieren meme). I may make a sketch of Robertsky too.

Hello, dear friends, enemies, and those still in neutral territory. This blog has changed since you likely last saw it. Let me reintroduce myself:

I am Nikola Raftis, and you are welcome to stay here with me on my journey as I write the Moralis series. You can expect progress snippets, one shots of my own original characters that I use as warm-up exercises, art, general updates, and probably a smidgeon of chaos.

All questions you may think to send in are also welcome. I love to talk about my work. I will also do topic/prompt requests for my original characters.

Eventually, I will pin a different introductory post; this one is temporary while everyone adjusts to the changes in this blog.

1. favourite place in your country?

So many, for so many different reasons!! I have an extremely soft spot for Porto Rafti. It's a coastal town near Athens - it's pretty enough, not the immeasurable beauty of some of the islands or other seaside places but I spent all my summers there as a kid and being there always brings me the best kind of nostalgia!

8. do you get confused with other nationalities? if so, which ones and by whom?

Not very often, mostly because I don't go much to places where I could be confused with someone else. Once I was out at a cafe with my Spanish teacher though, and we were speaking Spanish, and the waiter assumed I was Spanish "because I looked the part more" (my teacher was blond).

16. which stereotype about your country you hate the most and which one you somewhat agree with?

Hate: the lazy people stereotype! Lazy people exist in every nation, as I've seen, and we're actually pretty efficient if we're not made to chase our own tails - as often happens because of the disorganization that permeates every aspect of the working life (thank you, chronically useless and corrupt governments!).

Agree: friendly, caring and overbearing mothers/grandmas that keep asking you when you're getting married. :p (but also cook splendidly)

If you thought things couldn't possibly get worse: here's the chapter where it gets even worse. Amid some gay vibes (some Heavily Gay vibes, actually), James Herondale might be dying. Feel free to bring your popcorn.

Summary: Lila tries to keep James alive when they arrive back in 1903 and employs the help of poor Gus Huntley who was just going for a walk nearby. Cordelia finally acts on her growing conflicted feelings. Lucie and Alastair are doing their best.

EATING UP your fic rn. but gotta ask. does gracelet work even on those who know? bc if i was teleported to their world the very first thing i'd do would be to take that awful thing off james and kinda... work him through the process you know? but realise i'd go in there as a very big sister role which doesn't make as compelling a story prompt

Good question! So I actually wrestled with this for a while when I was in the planning stages. There's a previous "draft" as I like to think of it that's currently still up (for a limited time, since I plan to delete it) called Chain of Lies where the gracelet did in fact work on those who knew. I didn't like this, however, it just created a very bland sort of waiting game that felt too much like canon. For this fic though, WBITHOM, I decided that our main character from our world, Lila Raftis, would know about the gracelet and would not be influenced the same way others are due to her outsider nature and knowledge. I'm not sure how far you are in the fic yet, but we do see Lila struggle with knowing about the gracelet yet being under the impression she should not influence the "plot" or timeline of the dimension's story. This means that she does not make attempts to get the gracelet off James, BUT we do see her trying to question James about it to see if she can set off something in him and help the process. Because Lila does try to help James (and some other characters) in the small ways she can. Hopefully you're not disappointed <3
