About Season 4

Was I… Was I only one that actually really enjoyed this season? ‘Specially the first episodes (episode 2 wrecked me and then healed me) Sure there wasn’t much character development but I we still got a lot of time for that.

thunderstorm thoughts

the lightening shocked my heart back into action, restarting my circulation and when the thunder rumbled it was like taking a huge breath of air, filling up my lungs and pumping my blood around my body. and when i opened the window and stuck my hand into the pouring, icy rain it was like an awakening, as if i had just crawled from cosy duvets and soft dreams and rejoined life once again in a burst of showering needles. and in that moment i was alive again, heart leaping and blood electrified every time i was blessed with another bout of lighting and roar of thunder. as if the bolt of lightening had hit my body and travelled through my veins.  the sky opening up and the earth rumbling and roaring and shattering and reminding me that i am a part of nature and i am alive and live on earth and there are great forces at work like the great swell of huge clouds and monstrously beautiful oceans and waves and towering trees older than society, wise and stoic mountains, cliffs marking the end of the world and sensational storms that light up my world and turn night into day like the sky is breaking in two and the world is ending and i’m part of it. i want nothing more than to be able to drive, to go to a field at times like this with a blanket and a torch and sit on a cliff and lie down looking at the stars and feeling the rain on my face and watching the lightning rip apart the clouds and feel the thunder vibrating up through the ground into my chest and rattling my teeth and bones until i am no longer a human, just an animal and a part of nature and the storm which engulfs my mind.
